Review brief: An English teacher, played by Russ Carlson, is about to jump to his demise from a New York City bridge over his involvement in the porn industry, when a student (Helen Madigan) and a fellow teacher (Erica Eaton) happen upon him and put a halt to his plans. Of course, their curiosity gets the best of them, with Carlson introducing them to his world, and the sexual high-jinks ensue. Such is the case in "Teacher's Pet" (a.k.a.: "Teachers and Cream", "Teacher's Pets"), a decent, 1972 release from Gourmet Video and Warren Evans.

Review brief: "Summer Beach House" is a sub-par, 1980 release from Gourmet Video featuring Danielle and Becky Savage as frisky sisters who have a home on the beach for the summer (...hence the title...). The whole film is shot indoors, and the house itself doesn't really scream, "fun in the sun", either. Moreover, this one is super-short and looks like it could have been shot by anyone with a home camcorder. While the sex isn't bad--it's fairly average, with the final orgy being the best--just about everything else is. As such, I'd recommend steering clear of this one.

"Boiling Point"). An overall-good, 1978 release from director Paul Levis and the Alpha Blue Archives, this flick starts out for all the world looking like it's going to have an exceptional plot...the car chases, character development, intertwined storylines, etc. ... but then, somewhat randomly, gives it all up midway through and wraps everything with a massive orgy at a disco. Review brief: Possessing special powers that allow them to turn both frigid housewives and uninterested daughters into naughty nymphomaniacs with but a single fuck, Dickman (John Holmes) and Throbbin (Tom Byron) spread the love in "The Erotic Adventures of Dickman and Throbbin". An otherwise-good, 1986 release from Western Visuals and Jerome Tanner, the version of this flick available at adultempire.com as a part of their (...excellent, I might add...) unlimited streaming service seems to be missing the last few scenes (at least according to the scene list at iafd.com). Interestingly, a quick check of various other digital porn providers seems to indicate that this is the rule and not the exception. This sad decision on someone's part, of course, means that the plot is cut short, as is the sex. That said, what is included is still hot, and the Amber Lynn, Tom Byron, John Holmes boinking remains intact. While it's difficult to fully recommend a heavily cut version of a film, this one is still fun.

A very good, adult comedy filmed in the late 70s and from Jon and Lem Amero and Video-X-Pix, this high-budget fuck-flick packs the plot of a low-budget mainstream release of its era into a tight, tongue-in-cheek, pornographic package...and the result is utterly watchable.

Review brief: Featuring the "platinum princess of porn" herself, "The Erotic World of Seka" (1980 LBO / VCR), certainly delivers on both the beauty and the sexual fronts. Indeed, Seka is one of the true superstars of the Golden Age...one of the biggest names that the world of adult has ever seen. Not only did she possess stunning good looks, but she was also a sexual dynamo. Her scenes delivered on multiple levels, and her fans ate them up. Presented here are nine sequences featuring the legend, all of them strong and one of them involving a DP. While the overdubbing found in some spots is a bit irksome...and there's a disconnect between the first handful of segments and the last...Seka's presence and performances alone are easily enough to pull out a recommendation.
