Buttslammers (Airerose Entertainment) Review

Review:
Intentionally following in the footsteps of a legend is never an easy thing to do, especially when those footsteps include using the same title for your film as the legend's seminal work. Such is the case with the 2015 version of "Buttslammers" from Airerose and director Derek Dozer (...the original being a series by Hall-of-Famer Bruce Seven...). Indeed, it's a ballsy (...or lack thereof, in this lesbian-laden case...) move, as it will invariably result in lofty expectations and lead to comparisons back to the master. With that, this release does aim to reproduce the feel and flavor of the originals in a real way. Sadly, while imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, two of the scenes (...the first two...) honestly do miss the mark and come off as merely that... imitations. They're not bad, of course, and the casting is stellar...but they simply fail to click in that awe-inspiring way for which one might have hoped. Fortunately, however, the third and final sequence, an oiled-up four-way featuring Adriana Chechik (watch out for her at the AVNs in January), Phoenix Marie, Carter Cruise, and Abella Danger, does nail down that "something special" quality and, quite honestly, saves the production. Indeed, that scene alone is award-worthy, with the ladies involved in all manner of down-and-dirty anal action...all captured to perfection...and Seven would have likely been proud. So, check out this disc, in general, for all of the girl-on-girl, anal action...none of it's subpar...but recognize that the real magic can all be found at the end.

Breakdown:
In a leggy, blonde-on-brunette butthole battle, Bonnie Rotten and Kleio Valentien boff it out to prove once and for all who's the true, tatted anal princess of porn (Scene One). Of course, the two defile one another righteously with fingers, tongues, vibrators, dildos, beads, and plugs, and each lady's a-hole is stretched to capacity. Rotten also "squirts" (as in hoses down) Valentien a few times (on the face / in the mouth and on the butthole), with the beautiful blonde imbibing her girly-juice with joy. This spit-soaked, inked-out fish-fest ultimately finishes off with the girls going butt-to-butt sharing a purple, double-headed dildo.

In Scene Two, it's two blondes, one brunette, and three buttholes, as Madelyn Monroe, AJ Applegate, and Sarah Shevon oil up and proceed to poke, prod, and pound one another's puckers. Fingers, vibrators, beads, plugs, and dildos (including a shared double-header) all find their way into these babes' assorted b-holes, and it quickly becomes clear that no behind will be left...well...behind. Sarah pops a major prolapse at one point, and AJ "squirts" so heavily that she's left sitting in a puddle of her own girly-geyser. Sarah follows suit, and Madelyn heads for the hills.

Scene Three offers up an oil-induced, girl-on-girl, anal four-way featuring none other than Phoenix Marie, Abella Danger, Carter Cruise, and the always-awesome Adriana Chechik. The girls get all slippery before they slip it in, with things quickly devolving into the beautiful, b-hole-busting extravaganza that this flick should have been all along. This one's on another level, no doubt, with plenty of toys in the bums and Carter, in the vein of a true ass-bandit, sneaking in and butt-fucking her fellow babes with a black strap-on. The energy is palpable, which is somewhat missing in the other sequences, and everyone here is on pornographic point. Chechik steals the show, as she's apt to do, by squat-fucking (anally, of course) a dildo the size of an artillery shell (*boom*), and then both rosebudding a bit and squirting fairly heavily. Phoenix goes for a one-up by attempting to get the vibrating end of a huge wand in her gape but can't quite pull it off...though it's great to watch her try. More strap-on action follows... This is by far and away the best segment of the disc.

Bonus-wise:
There's a sexy Carmen Caliente / Gianna Nicole lesbian sequence, a slideshow photo gallery, and a handful of trailers. A BTS would have been a nice addition.

In all, the real power in this production can be found in its final sequence. This is where Dozer and company truly channel some of the old Bruce Seven magic. While the other two segments aren't bad, they're just not Seven... they're maybe Five or Six. Regardless--and especially for the last scene--this one is likely worth a look...particularly for fans of Adriana Chechik and greasy, girly-girly, anal action.
