Review brief: Devil in Miss Jones is a dark drama that is a must-see adult classic. The story of Justine Jones, who commits suicide and finds herself trapped in between heaven and hell, holds up well and the sex scenes and acting make this a true classic. This is an adult film that if you haven't seen it yet, it is time to correct that. Media Blasters has done an excellent job with their Definitive Collector's Edition two-DVD release through the Raincoat Theater line of Kitty Media of Devil in Miss Jones. The video and audio are in great shape and there are some excellent extras on the release.

Debbie Does Dallas continues to be an extremely popular adult film even to this day and is likely one of the best known of all adult films. The story of Debbie, a cheerleader, is one that transcends time and remains as fresh then as it does today. Debbie Does Dallas isn't the greatest adult film ever made but it certainly is fun to watch. If you haven't seen it yet and you are a fan of the genre, it is time to correct that. Devil in Miss Jones is a dark drama that is a must-see adult classic. The story of Justine Jones, who commits suicide and finds herself trapped in between heaven and hell, holds up well and the sex scenes and acting make this a true classic. Again, this is an adult film that if you haven't seen it yet, it is time to correct that. There are far better versions of the two films out on the market.

Review brief: Devil's Ecstasy is truly a film upon itself. The film came out during the period where hardcore films were starting to rise and softcore films were steadily declining. Hardcore was not yet chic yet signs looked promising and the films produced tried to be more than just hardcore sex. Devil's Ecstasy likely started life as a softcore film that was changed to hardcore during the production. The film itself is a horror and adult hybrid, where the adult portion doesn't work so well but the horror portion is entertaining. VCX has done a good job with their bare bones release with good video quality and decent audio quality.

Review brief: The Newcomers is a bad adult movie from the mid-1980s. The plot is a complete loss. While the movie pretends to have a plot there was no real effort to have the plot mean anything. The sex scenes are poor. Some of the sex scenes could have been decent, however, video wipes and other video effects are used liberally throughout the movie ruining any heat that the sex scenes might have contained. VCX hasn't done a horrible job with this release but they didn't do an amazing job either.

Review brief: The Little Girls Blue series is a fun enjoyable adult film series that features the girls from an all girls boarding school and their antics at the school and at a summer camp. Fans of plotted barely legal adult films should find both films to be enjoyable. As far as this box set goes, VCX took their two individual disc releases and put them into a box for this set with nothing else included. The transfer for Little Girls Blue is acceptable but the transfer for Little Girls Blue Part 2 is in bad shape. Sadly, as of now this is the best way to get the two films. Hopefully at some point another company will put out a better release of both of them.

Review brief: Little Girls Blue Part 2 is as fun as its predecessor offering a light fun story and nice sex scenes. If you like Little Girls Blue, you will like Little Girls Blue Part 2. The cast does a good job and the film is well made. VCX has done a very poor job with this release with an ugly presentation. This film deserves far better.

Review brief: Prisoner of Paradise isn't the most plot motivated adult feature film out there but it isn't a bad feature by any means. The plot is thin and the acting for some of the cast is sketchy but the sex scenes aren't bad. Prisoner of Paradise is nicely shot. VCX has done an acceptable job with the release using a video master and including no extras.

Review brief: Teenage Cruisers is an oddball of a film. It tries very hard to be a rockabilly nostalgia film, but ultimately is a failure. Faked cum shots, loops inserted into the story, missed comedy, and a general failure of a direction for the film pull it down. VCX hasn't attempted to do much with the release with a presentation that manages to be acceptable and no extras at all.

Review brief: During the Golden Age of adult films, there were many enjoyable adult films produced with good plots and good acting. The birth of DVD has caused a great many of those films to see the light of day again allowing those who enjoyed them in the theaters to enjoy them today along with a whole new audience that never got the chance to see them in the theaters originally. Along with these true classic adult films, the bottom of the barrel of the one day wonders are also resurfacing. Adult films that for all right should have been lost to time that are also being brought back out to the light of day. Unfortunately, Three Cheers for B.J.U. is the latter.

Review brief: Although A Dirty Western has a lot of aspects going for it, like its excellent locations and costumes and decent plot, I can't recommend this film to anyone as most people will hate this film, me included. If you like plot based films with some poor looking men and have a coercion fetish, then this might be the film for you, everyone else should steer clear.

Review brief: Loose Times at Ridley High is a great film from the very end of the golden age but unfortunately, VCX has ruined it for this DVD presentation. Due to the problems with the picture quality, I can only recommend this film to die-hard fans that must have it in digital form. For all others, I recommend that you wait in hopes that someday VCX will allow another company to distribute their films and they will do a better job with it.

Review brief: Sex World is a decent film to come from the golden age. While it isn't the best film that Anthony Spinelli made, it is far from the worst as well. The film delivers on the sex and gives a decent plot. Review brief: Although Sweet Young Foxes is a good film, I have trouble recommending this disc due to the poor video quality of the transfer. The film will not be liked by those who hate a plot with their porn and fans of nasty sex. If you are interested in purchasing the film, I recommend a rental first.
