Expectations I'm still getting a feel for this series. I have only seen one other title from this series and it was a mixed bag. On the one hand, the original material was good and well worth watching. The problem was that the disc had too much filler. I figure I will watch a couple more titles from the series to give it a fair shake. Capsule Review This disc definitely has some strong original material, and hardcore Private fans may want to check this one out just for these new scenes... but, like the other volume, there is still too much rehash. In particular, this disc contains two "Private Reports", Sex In A Frame and Fever. While these reports are interesting, they are generally included as bonus material on other Private releases and as such, I have a difficult time counting them as scenes on this disc. I will not review them as such. However, unlike Reality 7, this DVD still contains enough new material (5 scenes) to make this disc worth checking out. Expectations I'm still getting a feel for this series. I have only seen one other title from this series and it was a mixed bag. On the one hand, the original material was good and well worth watching. The problem was that the disc had too much filler. I figure I will watch a couple more titles from the series to give it a fair shake. Capsule Review This disc definitely has some strong original material, and hardcore Private fans may want to check this one out just for these new scenes... but, like the other volume, there is still too much rehash. In particular, this disc contains two "Private Reports", Sex In A Frame and Fever. While these reports are interesting, they are generally included as bonus material on other Private releases and as such, I have a difficult time counting them as scenes on this disc. I will not review them as such. However, unlike Reality 7, this DVD still contains enough new material (5 scenes) to make this disc worth checking out. Jose Maria,Ponce is a spanish well known director in his country, because he made films like Gothix (which later inspired this film), Four Sex Rooms (a parody of Four Rooms, with four porn directors) and mainly because he was the first serious porn films' director in Spain (nothing really explicit was filmed in Spain until his coming, in 1993). So Private expect more of him. In fact, he later directed another film for the Fetish Machine label. This is an explanation for those who don't know the full story. The film is good, but maybe most people were disappointed for everything. Ponce tried to make a mix between gonzo and feature film, but it tends to the first side, though the sex could be much stronger. Shane's World 23 is a different king of gonzo film than what is normally produced that should be enjoyed by viewers who like a fun porn movie. Since this is a DVD I guess I should start with what distinguishes it from a VHS and that's the extras. I was looking for shorter scenes with more heat in them - instead they seem to drag. Also, the direction at times does not take advantage of these georgeous sex loving girls. These two did not have a scene together. Huge bummer. His scenes with the non-Teras were good, but nothing spectacular. No heat in the sex - and the North blasts were ok. WHEN ROCCO MEATS KELLY 2 is the highly praised sequel to the modern mainstream classic, WHEN HARRY MET SALLY. Just a joke, folks. Actually, this title from Evil Angel may be somewhat tortuously named [only Rocco Siffredi Productions could use the word "meat" as a verb!], but is entirely appropriate for a movie starring one of the most recognized male performers in porn history. However, let me be perfectly honest...I prefer Rocco's work under the creative direction from superior directors like John Stagliano and Andrew Blake. Story wise it's gorgeous Chelsea Blue masturbating while having dream like flashbacks of sexual encounters with other women and a single m/f couple. On the plus side all the women look beautiful. The photography and production is stylish. On the negative side I am a Dalia Grey fan and this is the first time she doesn't appear in an Andrew Blake production since she started working with him.
