When it comes to the AVN Awards and the porn parody category, it's pretty much a lock that Axel Braun will win. For the comic book nerds/geeks, he's pretty much taken the whole erotic fan fiction genre and brought it to life for our pleasure. And that aspect is where he really shines, although sometimes the sex scenes fall a little flat for me. It is wrong or unfair to want some explosive and energetic scenes no matter what genre it is, I do think that the Romi and Ramon scene was the standout and highlight for me. But when it comes to parodies, I think you are more interested in the story, set up and Easter eggs that lead up to the sex between some of your favorite characters. Some major kudos to Seth for his great Ryan Reynolds impression, a definite highlight, but I know Axel puts in some work determining who is going to be in his movies. He also deserves some love for the script as well, really does a nice job of incorporating the original as well as throwing in a few twists... [read the full review]

Some Dude does a very nice job in the title role with Andy San Dimas, James Deen, and Will Ryder doing every bit as good of a job in their supporting roles. Zoe Voss, Kristina Rose, Alexis Texas, and Lexi Belle are also on hand to turn out some solid sex. The technical aspects are fantastic and there's also some nice effort put into the extras. I think most of us are familiar with the story presented in that film and Axel & crew do a nice job in this giving several nods to the original source material which you'll enjoy spotting throughout this production. Axel Braun strikes again with another downright fantastic porn parody. Not only does he do a great job writing and directing this one, but he also turns out some fantastic porn parodies of Elvis' songs. J. Jay does a good job as young Elvis, but Dale DaBone completely owns old Elvis. Add in great sexual performances from Andy San Dimas, Lexi Belle, Asa Akira, Jessica Bangkok, and Codi Carmichael along with a very nice first time anal from Jessi Palmer and you have plenty to like about the movie. This tale is told from the point of view of people who knew Elvis throughout his life and this story of course involves lots of sex starting with Ann Margaret and ending with Marilyn Monroe but lots of celebs in between- Muhammad Ali, James Dean to name a couple besides the King. Here we get a porno take on the popular show on Fox, Glee. I must confess to not being an avid viewer of the show. I did manage to catch an episode on Hulu and felt this parody did a pretty good job of catching the spirit of the show. The porn actors in some cases here do a great job in resembling their mainstream counterparts in looks but also in singing ability, wait until you hear Andy San Dimas who plays Rachel- a pretty big role in the tv show and she pulls it off beautifully. Most of the tv characters get some action in this too except for Samone Taylor who plays Mercedes but I would bet in the next one she will. The music obviously is important to Glee and it's handled well in this parody with some cool tunes with nice turn of phrase employed. Well worth renting for fans of the show. [read the full review]

Here we have fans a send up of one of the classic series of the 1970's, early 80's-- Happy Days!! From the interior shots at Arnolds to the exterior/ interior shots of the Cunninghams house this parody rings true and you'll be taken back to the popular show which now is offering up a little sex as well as nostalgia. The various casting choices here were real good particularly Raquel as Mrs. C, Missy Stone as Joanie, Jack Lawrence as Ralph Malph and Tommy Gunn is the Fonz! Well worth a few hours time to check out as you get fine acting along with strong sex, bravo and now I see a sequel and of course this means one thing-- MORK!! [read the full review]
