Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great. The picture has a touch of grain, which fits the original nicely, but the camera work is smooth and the lighting is well handled.

The Movie: Very few are unfamiliar with the voyages of the U.S.S. Enterprise or their five year mission. Here Axel Braun aims his adult parody photon torpedos at the original series with Evan Stone as Captain Kirk, Tony DeSergio as Spock, and Cheyne Collins as Bones McCoy as they investigate a new alien world and its hot and horny female inhabitants.

This Ain't Star Trek XXX 2: The Butterfly Effect is a pretty good porn parody. Axel Braun does a very nice job with the sets and camera work, and the cast does a great job in their roles. With Evan Stone's penchant for overacting he's perfect in the William Shatner role, and Tony DeSergio, Cheyne Collins, and Keni Styles are just as good. The sex is nicely done, with good chemistry and very nice camera work in each scene. That said, the music was at times distracting, especially in the second scene, as it got a bit too campy and drew away from the action. The bigger problem, however, was the overall story. I guess the JFK / Marilyn Monroe does kind of work into the plot, but it seems awfully forced rather than fitting into the story smoothly. Yes, I know this is supposed to be porn and we're just to turn off our brains and enjoy the fucking, but part of what made the original Star Trek great was not just the imagination and hope of Gene Roddenberry, but how well he got all of it through with some fairly simple stories. This one's a bit too simple, which is was a bit surprising with how well Braun did with Batman XXX: A Porn Parody which had a source that was often just as simple. This Ain't Star Trek XXX 2: The Butterfly Effect is far from a bad porn parody, but a little more effort towards the story would have made this a lot more successful.

The Extras: Trailers are included for six other releases. The photo gallery lasts about eight and a quarter minutes. There's also bonus scenes, behind the scenes featurettes, and since this is a Hustler release, tons of commercials.

The blooper reel lasts about six and a half minutes. You get plenty of flubbed lines as well as a little of the cast screwing around. This is a fun little scene with a few nice chuckles throughout.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about a half hour. Cheyne Collins talks about having a non-sex role before a quick chat with Joey Brass, and Tony deSergio. There's also a little fun with Evan Stone before moving moving on with Keni Styles. After a bit of time around the set Jada, Kimberly, and Alexis have a bit of fun chatting. Jennifer Dark chats and shows off a bit before Kagney has a little fun. Things move to the set with a little fun choreographing one of the fight scenes to close things out. This is a nicely done behind the scenes featurette. You get nice little interviews with pretty much everybody in the cast, as well as a bit of eye candy and some fun around the set. This is a good addition to the overall DVD.

The first bonus scene comes from This Ain't Hell's Kitchen XXX. As blonde Kagney works in the kitchen, Marcus comes up behind her and gropes her before wondering what she could do with his sausage. She happily kisses him as they grope each other and help each other strip down. The scene does seem a little drawn out as well as short due to only having two positions, but there is nice chemistry between her and Marcus. This is a good scene.

The second bonus scene comes from Avenue X. Bottle blonde Kimberly struts down a dirty alley in knee high black hoots wearing a wide black belt and black pony plug before lighting up a smoke and heading into an abandoned industrial building to meet Alex. The same can be said for Joe Gallant's style. It's heavy on the art, and although the chemistry between Kimberly and Alex comes through very well it just didn't work for me. There's good chemistry and plenty of style to this scene, but I just couldn't get into it.
