The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are as good as I think I've seen in porn. The audio is clear and extremely well balanced. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and look great. The picture is clear, the camera is steady, and there's very nice effort put into the lighting.

Music: The music is very well done and shows a lot of care. It has the same style as in the original series and is very nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu is nicely done, with animation that fits the movie along with some nice stills and an overall fun feeling. The chapter menu has a comic book look that fits the movie perfectly. It lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a title for the scene, as well as letting you know which are sex scenes and which characters are involved.

The Feature

When Bruce Wayne's (Dale DaBone) girl (Kimberly Kane) is kidnapped by The Riddler (Evan Stone), there's no choice but for Batman and Robin (James Deen) to jump into action. There's a bigger plan in the works than they might think, however, with The Joker (Randy Spears) and Catwoman (Tori Black) involved. Luckily they also have the help of Batgirl (Lexi Belle)...

In order to get a better quality cell from Riddler Evan, Kimberly lets him know she'd be very appreciative and pulls his cock out to suck it through the bars of her cell. Evan joins her in the cell to eat her pussy as she lays back on the bed before moving on to fuck it missionary style and spoon it. After having his willpower sapped with a spiked drink, Alexis takes Batman Dale to the couch to have her way with him. She teases him a bit and they grope each other before Dale pulls down his Bat-tights to let her eagerly work on his cock with her mouth and hands. Alexis teases him with her pussy before showing off her amazing ass with a cowgirl ride, and sucks him clean before having him take her doggie style. She also rides Dale reverse cowgirl style and lets him spoon her before sucking him to a nice pop in and around her mouth that she shows off before leading Dale away by his cock.

This is another hot scene with plenty of fun. Alexis plays the seductress very well and there's great chemistry between her and Dale. Dale doesn't do much of the work here, but even that fits into the scene and never holds it back. This is yet another winner of a scene.

Brunette Andy and bottle blonde Syren get it on with Joker Randy to help him relax a bit while waiting for his grand plan to come to fruition. Syren starts sucking his cock as Andy strips down and then takes over to let Syren strip down. The girls keep taking turns working on Randy as they strip down, and let him play with them a little as well before Andy gets up for the first fuck reverse cowgirl style. They trade off with Syren taking a traditional cowgirl ride before Andy rides Randy cowgirl style. He also takes each of the girls doggie style before letting the girls share a facial.

This is a pretty hot scene. There's a good balance between the girls in the scene, and Syren does a nice job keeping up to Andy as she puts out her usual solid performance. The main thing that held this scene back for me is the chemistry isn't as strong here as it is in the other scenes. Randy does a good job taking on each of the girls, but there's never any interaction between the girls. I don't know if this was done specifically to make this a more “couples friendly” movie, but as it is it does hold the chemistry back in the scene because it doesn't seem like everybody's into everybody else. This is a good scene, but it also comes in as the weakest in the movie due to the lack of interaction between the girls.

After they get horned up watching the Joker and his girls, Robin James and Batgirl Lexi get busy by a nearby ottoman. James helps Lexi strip down to eat her from behind as well as while she lays back on the ottoman. She sucks his cock in return before letting him spoon her, and then rolls Lexi on top for a reverse cowgirl ride. James also takes her doggie and bow and arrow style before Lexi gets on top for a traditional cowgirl ride. They finish fucking missionary style before James pulls out and pops a nice load around Lexi's bush.

Not surprisingly, this is a great scene. Lexi looks downright amazing as Batgirl, and that comes from somebody who probably had his hormones kick in watching Yvonne Craig play Batgirl in reruns of the original 1960s show (and yes, they still kick into overdrive watching those reruns today). There's great chemistry between Lexi and James through the scene, and he puts in a nice touch of intensity without ever taking things overboard. You can tell that Lexi's definitely into it, and the two of them turn out one of my favorite scenes in the movie.

After the Joker and Riddler are defeated and hauled off to face justice by Batgirl, Catwoman Tori reminds the Dynamic Duo that she did help them out. They repay her with a “Holy Threesome Batman!” and quickly move in to strip Tori down and worship her great body. James works her over orally from behind as she sucks and strokes Dale before working James over orally as Dale gets out of his Bat-tights. Tori goes back to sucking Dale as James gives her his rod of justice from behind before moving over to impale herself on Dale's bat-pole reverse cowgirl style as she sucks James. She keeps taking a dick at each end as James fucks her missionary style and Dale spoons her and fucks her missionary style. Tori also rides James in the cowgirls and sixty-nines him before taking a great double facial.

This is a great final scene. Tori is fantastic as Catwoman, and it's easy to say that she's easily the best to don the catsuit since Julie Newmar gave it up almost twenty years before Tori was born. Sexually this scene also works great with excellent chemistry all around along with Tori putting out some great trash talk. There's a nice balance between the guys as she takes them on, and Tori does a great job with the facial. The only complaint I can really have here is that she takes off the mask and cat-ears for the scene, which just seems out of place since all of the other major players stayed in costume through their sex scenes. That's a very minor complaint, however, and Tori, James, and Evan do a great job closing the movie out sexually.

Batman XXX: A Porn Parody is easily one of the best porn parodies to come out in recent years. The entire production feels like a labor of love by the cast and crew and feels like everybody had a great time from start to finish. The non-sex portions of the movie are a great homage to the original 1960s series, and the sex scenes fit in perfectly rather than feeling forced into the movie. There's plenty of chemistry in each of the scenes, and the cast does every bit as good of a job in the non-sex sequences as they do in the sex scenes. As a comic geek and a fan of the original 1960s series I'll admit that I went in with more hope than expectations due to how lackluster Braun's parodies for Hustler have been, but Batman XXX: A Porn Parody flew past my hopes as well as my expectations and easily shows how great of a director Axel Braun can be when given the proper support. This is a truly great adult movie.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for four other releases. The photo gallery lasts about seven and a half minutes. There's also behind the scenes featurettes, commercials, and the ability to watch a the story portion of the movie by itself (which lasts about twenty five minutes).

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about thirty five minutes. After a quick moment with Tori, Evan and Randy chat and fool around a bit. Axel talks about the movie and what he was going for with it as well as how happy he is with the cast and crew. After a quick moment with Evan and Kimberly Kane, Tori chats about knowing cats, envying Ron Jeremy, and preparing for her role. Lexi talks about her costume and preparing for her role before James joins in the chat. Dale talks about the challenge with his role and love of the original show as well as preparing for his roles in general. Axel returns to talk about getting into porn before Syren talks about her role and shares one of her fantasies. Andy talks about her role and humor in sex before a little fun on the sex. Axel comes back again to talk about squirting and changes in the industry around clips from the cast preparing for and shooting the movie. After a moment with the late, great Lee Garland, Alexis Texas talks about her role and Batman and Kimberly Kane puts out plenty of fun attitude and sarcasm while chatting about her role, things around it, and working with Evan Stone. Finally Axel talks about the future. This is a great behind the scenes featurette. You get plenty of personality from the stars and Axel as well as a bit of fun around the set. This is a very nice addition to the overall DVD.

A nearly twelve minute featurette focuses on the casting. Randy Spears starts things out reading for The Joker and having way too much fun with Axel before Jack Lawrence and Evan Stone give it a try. Randy also reads for The Riddler before Nick Manning tries reading for Batman without ever being able to leave his sneer behind. Evan also reads for Batman before Otto Bauer channels William Shatner as he reads for the role. Finally, Evan tries reading for multiple characters at once. This is a fun little featurette that definitely adds to the overall DVD. It also makes it pretty clear why Nick Manning was not chosen to play Batman despite being an early announcement for the role.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many Vivid DVDs can be found online for between about $20 and $25. Don't worry about the price tag if this one interests you in the least, just pick it up. It's one of the best parodies I've seen to date with hot sex and great setups that work as an homage to the original. The technical aspects show some nice care as well, and there's nice effort put into the extras. This is not just one of the best parodies to come out of 2010, but one of the best overall releases as well.

Note to Vivid / Axel Braun Productions: I'll readily admit to being sick of the plethora of parodies that have come out over the last few years, but releases like this shows that there's still hope for the genre. Thank you.
