All bets are off when three young women, each with her own life issues, hopes, and dreams, finish their first year of college and decide that it's time to take life by the balls and experience whatever's out there. Of course, "experience" means excessive drinking, some drug use, partying, and plenty of hot, steamy sex...both straight and lesbian...all to the benefit of the viewer at home. Such is the case in "Sweet Young Foxes", an overall-good, 1983 release from VCX and director Bob Chinn. [read the full review]

Although Sweet Young Foxes is a good film, I have trouble recommending this disc due to the poor video quality of the transfer. The film will be liked by those who like a plot with their sex, couples, fans of the classics and those who like to sit down and watch a whole adult film. The film will not be liked by those who hate a plot with their porn and fans of nasty sex. If you are interested in purchasing the film, I recommend a rental first. [read the full review]

Mixing science and sexuality to help its clients fulfill their most intimate and deepest of desires, "Sex World" is a resort that ushers in groups of hand-picked tourists who are looking for a bit more out of their getaway than the standard vacation has to offer. Indeed, they're seeking sexual liberation and fulfillment--in one form or another--and "Sex World" is just the place to give it to them. Such is the case in Anthony Spinelli's 1977 release of the same title, a landmark film in the history of adult fare. [read the full review]

Corey Thomas'
Anthony Spinelli's "Sex World" is a movie that I have been wanting to see for a very long time. I finally obtained a copy of this 1978 classic and the wait was well worth it. As an adult movie with a real plot and actors who could actually act, this film is effective on several levels: As erotica, a character study, and a psychological drama. There are many characters to keep track of here and the movie is practically a who's who of porn in 1978. The story revolves around a group of people taking a chartered bus to a resort known as "Sex World". The characters include Annette Haven as a lesbian left by her lover (Cris Cassidy), who comes to the resort looking for a heterosexual encounter; an adult movie enthusiast (Sharon Thorpe) who can't express her desires in real life; a racist (John Leslie) who is slowly seduced by black beauty Desiree West, and several couples having various sexual problems. The sex scenes themselves are pretty short, since they are so numerous in number, but they are all beautifully shot and uniquely erotic. [read the full review]

Length 78:20 Year 1981 The VCX dvd of HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIES is in fullscreen as are most of their dvd's and the picture quality is not too bad on this dvd. It's certainly a step up from their dvd of THE DEVIL IN MISS JONES. The audio is fine and everyone can be understood easily throughout the movie. This movie really deserved some extras and it includes none at all, not even the ones promised on the front cover. VCX should really get with the game and try to get some commentary tracks for their classic dvd releases as the other companies such as VCA and NuTech are doing. The story to this movie is that coach Salinas (Jamie Gillis) is coming back for a reunion with the some teachers he worked with, and a student he had on his football team 5 years earlier. He has changed a lot in the last 5 years, but first we get to see how he was 5 years earlier and it is quite an entertaining view of the trip on the bus of him and his football team to a football game. Although it is unfortunate that both films have been cut and the picture quality in the first one is questionable, these are still two very well done films. If you are a fan of the classics, of either of these films, of school girl or summer camp themed movies you probably want to pick this disc up since this is probably the best treatment these films are going to get on DVD and since the packaging states that they are limited editions. Otherwise, I would avoid this title. [read the full review]

Debbie Does Dallas (VCX) review summaries:
Flash's
Debbie Does Dallas continues to be an extremely popular adult film even to this day and is likely one of the best known of all adult films. The story of Debbie, a cheerleader, is one that transcends time and remains as fresh then as it does today. Debbie Does Dallas isn't the greatest adult film ever made but it certainly is fun to watch. If you haven't seen it yet and you are a fan of the genre, it is time to correct that. VCX has done a decent job with their remastered DVD release of Debbie Does Dallas. The image quality is decent and the audio is great. [read the full review]

When Bambi Woods (Debbie) wins an opportunity to be a Texas Cowgirl, she and her fellow cheerleaders will stop at nothing to pay for the trip, even if it means providing special "services" to the local community's men. Such is the case in "Debbie Does Dallas", a very good, extraordinarily recognizable classic from director Jim Buckley and VCX. [read the full review]

Length 83:42 Year 1978 This review will be a comparison between the 2 current releases of Debbie Does Dallas by the companies VCX and NuTech. With a review of the movie following. The VCX dvd of Debbie Does Dallas is slightly longer than the NuTech dvd of Debbie Does Dallas. I have seen both and noticed 4 slight cuts to the NuTech dvd. None of which were major. The running time on the VCX dvd is 19 seconds longer than the NuTech dvd, but the NuTech dvd has a better quality picture so I would recommend going with the NuTech dvd over the VCX dvd. The VCX dvd is divided into 5 chapters and there is a pause when the player switches between these chapters. This is not the case on the NuTech dvd as the movie is on one track on the NuTech dvd. The NuTech dvd appears to have been transfered from a film source while the VCX dvd appears to have been mastered from a vhs tape. [read the full review]

Due to the video problems if you are a fan of the film or it sounds like a good movie to you, you probably want to wait and hope that a better version of it gets released in the future. As this is a limited edition release it will eventually leave the market and anther company may re-release a better print of it. If you are still considering purchasing it, I suggest that you rent it first so you can see how bad the video problems are before you purchase so you don't end up disappointed. [read the full review]

Starring: Kay Parker, Dorothy LeMay, Juliet Anderson, Tawny Pearl, Lynn Shannon, Mike Ranger Directed By: Kirdy Stevens In my old college lit classes Oedipus Rex was my "go to" play. If we were called upon to write essays on irony, tragedy, flawed characters, or any of the other big dramatic topics for discussion, I always turned to that father killing, eye poking, incestuous king for source material. Of course, I didn't know shit about Medea or Troilus and Cressida, but I didn't have to; I had my regal Greek motherfuckers down. Kirdy Stevens' Taboo barely resembles the themes of Oedipus Rex, and we all agree that it's unfair to hold any pornographic work to the same standard of Sophocles' greatest play, and yet I'm gonna do it anyway. Taboo is the story of a boy and his mother. [read the full review]
