Review brief: Starring: Halli Aston, Cheyenne Silver, Charmaine Star, Vivian Valentine, Sterling, Eric Everhard, Chris Cannon Directed By: Shane The first time I watched Shane's World 19 I was recovering from an extremely nasty case of salmonella (hint: if that chicken doesn't taste right, don't eat it), but I have nothing but pleasant thoughts of this DVD. I was so violently ill at the time that getting an erection was about as remote a possibility as me being picked to join Shane's next sexual travelogue. Yet, I found myself enjoying this edition in her long running series not just for the sex, but because it's interesting. That's right, thought provoking porn that reveals more about it's performers than what their genitals look like close up. Ostensibly, this is a long x- rated home movie featuring a cast of pornstars in Key West, but it comes across as more of a true documentary. Shane does not appear at all on camera, in sex scenes or anywhere else.

Initial Expectations: Wicked and Jenna have put out some amazing movies that have turned into top-notch DVDs. From what Ive heard, Flashpoint is one of those. Initial Reaction: Wicked and Adam & Eve really pulled out the stops for Flashpoint and it shows. This is a great DVD. Audio /Video Quality: The picture quality is excellent. I didnt notice a single blur in the entire movie. The audio is very good, but theres a spot or two that appears to be dubbed. Theres also a few spots where the audio seems hollow and echoes. Music: The music is great.

The only problems with that line of thinking is a) it's a Wicked release and I have yet to watch a bad Wicked DVD b) Brad Armstong wrote, produced, and directed it and Brad has done some excellent adult films. So, I'm not exactly sure what to expect, but I'm sure it will be good. Initial Reaction: This is a great all sex feature and a very well put together DVD. Audio /Video Quality: As usual from Wicked, the transfer is very good. Theres a little grain to the picture, but not a lot and it isnt that noticeable.

Review brief: If you like buttman then this video will blow your mind!! He takes atrip to montreal and meets up with some stunning girls. The sex is hard and dirty and lots of anal scenes which is cool. One of the best scenes is when Rocco goes to a lap dancing club and gets to fuck all the 3 daners in a private cubiclue one at a time and thats followed by all of them having group sex. The first scene (stunning blone BARBIE BELLE & her friend) takes place outside then moves to a car where they nearly get caught of the police! Then back to her appartment. Review brief: This is another personal favorite from my collection that gets a decent amount of playtime. Statistical information: Disc type: 2 sides, 1 layer Feature length: about 2 hrs Extras: stills, clips, trailers I have acquired a handful of Vivid Raw titles just because they often are on sale at various netstores. The quality varies a lot: sometimes you get a DVD that should be good on the outset but isn't (Femme 2), and sometimes there are one or two hot scenes amidst less exciting stuff (Channel X). You hope to come across the occasional gem. Choose Your Cooze is the best of the lot so far. It is also an all-condom movie, penetration-wise, so those who have a strong aversion to condoms can leave at this point. Still here? Good. The premise is simple. Apparently the producer called a bunch of pornstars and asked them who they'd want to work with, and the results can be seen on this DVD.

Review brief: Overview Finally, a movie made for DVD! It was only a matter of time before this was to happen. The only differences with this movie compared to a movie captured on video or film are picture quality, sound quality and true multiple angles. I know that a lot of people aren't fans of this, but you have to give credit where credit is do. All of my complaints with multiple angles in the past have been corrected in this movie. First, there's no icon on the screen at all. The multi- angles are throughout the entire movie for the whole scene. Both angles are great. The colors and brightness match. The angles are real-time. Meaning that you see the exact moment in the film, just a different angle. This is the way I think we all envisioned it to be in the first place... all movies until now have failed at it. The only other movie I thought that had good multi-angles was the solo scene in Rocki Roads' Wet Dreams. Ok ok... I'm done talking about the multiple angles... for now.

Review brief: Shortly after reviewing MASQUERADE for Adult DVD Talk, I had the opportunity to take a gander at THE OBSESSION OF LAURE, a Wicked Pictures DVD from Marc Dorvel Video and starring gorgeous featured actress Laure Sinclair. Well, immediately after glancing at the cast listing of OBSESSION, I was almost convinced that this movie would top MASQUERADE, due to my overwheming partiality to Vicca (now a VCA contract girl) and Anita Blonde who performs in three of thirteen (!) scenes in this video. Well, after comparing my, umm..."reactions" to both films, I don't think that OBSESSION is overall as good as MASQUERADE, but then again, I saw MASQUERADE first so my expectations were already at an Olympian level. Still, THE OBSESSION OF LAURE was enough to convince me that the entire Laure Sinclair vehicles from Marc Dorcel were worth collecting, and Wicked's collection of European imports definitely give the Private line a run for their money.

Review brief: Overview Bliss is a prime example of how close a porn can be to mainstreamwith a soap opera twist. Juli Ashton is our main character who is not happy and satisfied with her marriage. She wants it to work, but cant help straying in her search for sexual satisfaction. Her best friend is Tina Tyler who has some marital problems of her own. While Juli feels remorse for her actions and loves her husband, Tina is icy cold to her husband for his unfaithfulness. Both Juli and Tina play their parts perfectly. Tina seemed to really enjoy this bitchy character she played it so well. I dont want to give too much of the movie away, so I wont go into too much detail with the scenes. There is a lot of dialog in this movie and its done so well. However, the camera angles are what really struck me. Antonio used some subtle, yet brilliant shots (this may be a guy thing!). For instance, theres a dialog scene in a restaurant, but in the foreground of the shot is another table with a plate of french fries. I know people are thinking so what? Big deal!!, but its kind of artsy.

You hope to come across the occasional gem. Choose Your Cooze is the best of the lot so far. It is also an all-condom movie, penetration-wise, so those who have a strong aversion to condoms can leave at this point. Still here? Good. The premise is simple. The only differences with this movie compared to a movie captured on video or film are picture quality, sound quality and true multiple angles. I know that a lot of people aren't fans of this, but you have to give credit where credit is do. All of my complaints with multiple angles in the past have been corrected in this movie. First, there's no icon on the screen at all. The multi- angles are throughout the entire movie for the whole scene. Both angles are great. The colors and brightness match. The angles are real-time. Meaning that you see the exact moment in the film, just a different angle. This is the way I think we all envisioned it to be in the first place... all movies until now have failed at it. The only other movie I thought that had good multi-angles was the solo scene in Rocki Roads' Wet Dreams. Ok ok... I'm done talking about the multiple angles... for now.

Review brief: Shortly after reviewing MASQUERADE for Adult DVD Talk, I had the opportunity to take a gander at THE OBSESSION OF LAURE, a Wicked Pictures DVD from Marc Dorvel Video and starring gorgeous featured actress Laure Sinclair. Well, immediately after glancing at the cast listing of OBSESSION, I was almost convinced that this movie would top MASQUERADE, due to my overwheming partiality to Vicca (now a VCA contract girl) and Anita Blonde who performs in three of thirteen (!) scenes in this video. Well, after comparing my, umm..."reactions" to both films, I don't think that OBSESSION is overall as good as MASQUERADE, but then again, I saw MASQUERADE first so my expectations were already at an Olympian level. Still, THE OBSESSION OF LAURE was enough to convince me that the entire Laure Sinclair vehicles from Marc Dorcel were worth collecting, and Wicked's collection of European imports definitely give the Private line a run for their money.

Review brief: Overview Bliss is a prime example of how close a porn can be to mainstreamwith a soap opera twist. Juli Ashton is our main character who is not happy and satisfied with her marriage. She wants it to work, but cant help straying in her search for sexual satisfaction. Her best friend is Tina Tyler who has some marital problems of her own. While Juli feels remorse for her actions and loves her husband, Tina is icy cold to her husband for his unfaithfulness. Both Juli and Tina play their parts perfectly. Tina seemed to really enjoy this bitchy character she played it so well. I dont want to give too much of the movie away, so I wont go into too much detail with the scenes. There is a lot of dialog in this movie and its done so well. However, the camera angles are what really struck me. Antonio used some subtle, yet brilliant shots (this may be a guy thing!). For instance, theres a dialog scene in a restaurant, but in the foreground of the shot is another table with a plate of french fries. I know people are thinking so what? Big deal!!, but its kind of artsy.
