I was really blown away how good Digital Playground was on graphics in this movie. But thats all I was blown away by. The sex in this movie was at most luke-warm, and that's being nice. Tera Patrick has about 3 scenes, and all 3 are not even up to Tera's standards. The audio is another problem for this dvd. While the sex is going on you can tell the sound & the sex are not n-sync.

OK, speaking strictly about the A/V only, it still wasn't good, especially during the sex scenes. At times too shadowy, and only a couple of different angles used detracted from any enjoyment. Or, maybe not. Extras: some good previews, with Raquel Darrien and Alexandra Silk. Some trailers were also on the flip side. This was the first movie in the Gaia line, and the concept was quickly considered a failure, so much so that by the final Gaia movie (#6 Profession: Porn Actress) Clark had already reverted to his usual boyz get their rocks off formula. What this and its successors have in common with Clark's The Perversion of Barbara and the Laure Sinclair movies he shot for Marc Dorcel is that all show his early style. In the mid-90's Clark, perhaps at the request of his producers, shot fast paced movies, with up to 8 separate scenes in 90 minutes. The focus was on showing pretty women, and the action was usually anal.

What I will spend time describing is the video quality, production, and what the girls look like. The girls are all predictably amazing looking except for the old blond, Helen Duvall, and Julia Spains. What disappointed me the most about this video is that some of the scenes look like they were dubbed off a crappy VHS tape. This includes scene 2 and scene 6 and scene 7 and scene 8. I had high hopes because of the beautiful cast, but I also remembered watching an Adamo video some months ago, and hating it due to the lack of heat in the sex scenes. As I watched Dangerous Things 1, I noticed again and again that Adamo put in touches that screamed out, "This is ART, dammit!" Subtlety gives way to ostentation. The movie begins with Sylvia Saint (gorgeous blonde Czech with a perfect body, as if you didn't know) describing the recent lack of success in her writing career. Actually, it is another actress with less of an accent, and her voice isn't nearly as sexy as Sylvia's. I wondered if this was a bad sign. As the voice over describes her love for her boyfriend, he appears in the person of David Perry.

Review: The Senators Daughter is a lot of fun but its a little disappointing as a porno. Yes, normally the sex scenes in classic porn arent as long or defined as in modern porn but theyre even less so here.

The individual elements wouldn't make a bad flick, but mix them together and you've got salmon flavored ice-cream. I like salmon, and I like ice-cream. But I don't like salmon flavored ice-cream. Once a week my girlfriend and I cuddle up and watch some porn together. The problem we had with this flick was that the plot was somewhat interesting and the sex was good, BUT the plot was not sexual or erotic. The plot was downright depressing. Long dialogs describing crippled firemen and crippled relationships interspursed with great sex. We'd get going with the flow of the sex only to be brought to a screeching halt by some depressing monologue. And there seemed to be a lot of them. And I didn't understand the use of the monologues. The point of most of them could have been expressed much better visually with a "flash back" approach.

Review brief: Frankly, I don't know what film the rest of these reviewers watched. I don't watch porns for the sound, or the plot, or the special effects. I watch them to get aroused... and that's where this film is lacking. Sure, the women are quite attactive, but I can see naked attractive women on late night Cinemax. In short, we we're most looking for in this film is what it lacks... torrid, unabashed, uninterrupted sex. Most of the sex is very cold, artsy, and staged (rather than "hot" and spontaneous) with far too many special effects, cuts, and other BS mixed in. And, there's too much masturbation and lesbian sex... not enough of the good stuff (male-female). Moreover, to top it off, the main gal (Sasha) doesn't do anything other than get herself off (I don't buy that it's her in the very, very brief tiger sex scene). While other reviewers might use terms like Stylish, Incredible, Different, Artist, "a visual feast", etc., I'd be most likely to use the terms Boring, Unending, Repetitive, and so forth.

The best chemistry is between Summer and Anna it's readily apparent that they dig each other, that this scene could be just part of a ongoing larger relationship. And the use of crushed oranges and bananas is either hot, interesting or yucky depending on your mental wiring. However, despite being only an hour long, this DVD dragged, each of the three pairings dragged. What this and its successors have in common with Clark's The Perversion of Barbara and the Laure Sinclair movies he shot for Marc Dorcel is that all show his early style. In the mid-90's Clark, perhaps at the request of his producers, shot fast paced movies, with up to 8 separate scenes in 90 minutes. The focus was on showing pretty women, and the action was usually anal.

The girls are all predictably amazing looking except for the old blond, Helen Duvall, and Julia Spains. What disappointed me the most about this video is that some of the scenes look like they were dubbed off a crappy VHS tape. This includes scene 2 and scene 6 and scene 7 and scene 8. On the amazing babe side, Regina (scene 10) has legs that go on forever. It's too bad the scene was screwed up by being obviously shortened. Lolita (scene 7), Laura (scene 8), Diane (scene 5) and Cecilia (scene 2) area also awesome.

I had high hopes because of the beautiful cast, but I also remembered watching an Adamo video some months ago, and hating it due to the lack of heat in the sex scenes. As I watched Dangerous Things 1, I noticed again and again that Adamo put in touches that screamed out, "This is ART, dammit!" Subtlety gives way to ostentation. The movie begins with Sylvia Saint (gorgeous blonde Czech with a perfect body, as if you didn't know) describing the recent lack of success in her writing career. Actually, it is another actress with less of an accent, and her voice isn't nearly as sexy as Sylvia's. I wondered if this was a bad sign. As the voice over describes her love for her boyfriend, he appears in the person of David Perry.

Review brief: Scene One - Drive In Lovin - Kristi Myst The first 2 minutes or so shows Kristi out side a 50s style drive in / burger joint set. She is dressed in a Pink sweater and a strapless top with her hair done in a bee hive style do. She flirts with the camera in various poses flashing her breasts and ass. I have been a fan of Kristis for a while and she seems to be enjoying herself more so than usual here as she genually smiles at the camera while teasing the viewer. A nice feature was some of the camera shots were done in black and white, complete with the moving vertical black lines, to try to enhance the 50s style of TV. Cut to an in car make out scene with a combo hand / blow job from Kristi. it surprised me how much she was smiling throughout this. She also made some good eye contact with the male actor (name unknown). She rides him while in the car for awhile before he does her doggy style outside the car.

The Main Event The first scene opens with a nurse saying it is 10 midnight and she's waiting for four doctors to join her in the room. She's wearing a white outfit, and the typical white hat with the red cross sybol on it. Do nurses even wear such hats anymore? Soon enough, the four guys enter, already nude. Glad I don't see nude doctors walking around the halls when I'm unfortunate enough to be at the hospital.

Review brief: This is an example of a movie being more than the sum of its parts. Or in this case, less than the sum of its parts. The individual elements wouldn't make a bad flick, but mix them together and you've got salmon flavored ice-cream. I like salmon, and I like ice-cream. But I don't like salmon flavored ice-cream. Once a week my girlfriend and I cuddle up and watch some porn together. The problem we had with this flick was that the plot was somewhat interesting and the sex was good, BUT the plot was not sexual or erotic. The plot was downright depressing. Long dialogs describing crippled firemen and crippled relationships interspursed with great sex. We'd get going with the flow of the sex only to be brought to a screeching halt by some depressing monologue. And there seemed to be a lot of them. And I didn't understand the use of the monologues. The point of most of them could have been expressed much better visually with a "flash back" approach.

Review brief: Frankly, I don't know what film the rest of these reviewers watched. I don't watch porns for the sound, or the plot, or the special effects. I watch them to get aroused... and that's where this film is lacking. Sure, the women are quite attactive, but I can see naked attractive women on late night Cinemax. In short, we we're most looking for in this film is what it lacks... torrid, unabashed, uninterrupted sex. Most of the sex is very cold, artsy, and staged (rather than "hot" and spontaneous) with far too many special effects, cuts, and other BS mixed in. And, there's too much masturbation and lesbian sex... not enough of the good stuff (male-female). Moreover, to top it off, the main gal (Sasha) doesn't do anything other than get herself off (I don't buy that it's her in the very, very brief tiger sex scene). While other reviewers might use terms like Stylish, Incredible, Different, Artist, "a visual feast", etc., I'd be most likely to use the terms Boring, Unending, Repetitive, and so forth.

The audio synchs pretty well but a lot of the dialogue is kind of hard to understand. Music: The music is your typical porno music. Its way too loud for many of the scenes. Disc Problems: Once again, Sin City has no time code on the movie. Sin City also seems to think that its a good idea to have mandatory phone sex ads and a mandatory commercial for their web site before the main menu. Review: Wow. My 100th review. I have to admit that I never really thought Id get this far.

Review brief: With the word "Perversion" in the title, and the name of the studio being "Bizarre", I don't think it unreasonable to expect a wee bit more than extended massage and lite spanking. But well, more than that there ain't. The chemistry is decent between the various combination of performers. It's obvious that all are into spanking and the roles of dominant and submissive. The best chemistry is between Summer and Anna it's readily apparent that they dig each other, that this scene could be just part of a ongoing larger relationship. And the use of crushed oranges and bananas is either hot, interesting or yucky depending on your mental wiring. However, despite being only an hour long, this DVD dragged, each of the three pairings dragged. There was no nasty psychological dynamic between the players, it was closer to "Tee Hee I like Spanking" and "Tee Hee I like to be Spanked".

With that in mind, Blue Ribbon Blue presents itself as a greatest hits package of classic stars. Unfortunately, it's not. In fact, it was produced years ago before its performers were even considered legends, and its poor mastering reflect just how much of a thrown together effort it actually is. Had they known that it would be released in the 21st century, it's producers may have paid closer attention to what they included.
