Initial Expectations: With Passolini behind the camera and the group of ladies he’s put together in front of it, I can’t help but have high expectations!

Initial Reaction: It’s easily the worst Passolini I’ve seen.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As usual, VCA has put some very nice effort into their technical aspects. The audio is clean and clear, although it doesn’t always match the video due to some of the effects. The video is a bit artistic at times, but is nicely lit and free of grain.

Music: The music varies both in style and substance from scene to scene. Sometimes it’s nicely balanced with the audio and others it’s the only audio. It normally helps out the scenes, but there was one or two times were it felt like it could have been fit a little better.

Menus: The main menu has a unique look with a little minor animation, but it isn’t overly impressive. The chapter menu is much nicer, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the ladies in it.

The Feature

Lezbo A-Go-Go goes for a fairly simple feel. Unlike most of Passolini’s movies, this one’s an all sex feature, and each scene has it’s own theme and style. The only thing that draws them together is that none of them have men in them and they’re all highly artistic.

Scene 1 - Jamie Brooks, Jezebelle Bond, and Terri Summers

Long haired brunette hottie Terri and short redhead hottie Jezebelle law down the law on blonde Jamie during an undercover interrogation. They lay Jamie back on a table so Jezebelle can start fucking Jamie with a silver dildo and her fingers while Terri lightly gropes her and has Jamie lick her slit. After fucking her face with the dildo, they roll Jamie onto all fours so Jezebelle can go back to fucking her while Terri spreads her cheeks, rubs her clit, and watches. Terri gets more involved fucking Jamie missionary style with a strap-on while Jezebelle rides Jamie’s tongue. Terri and Jezebelle lie back on the table and have Jamie work them over with her tongue and fingers before Jezebelle dons a rubber glove to work on Jamie’s pussy while Terri gives Jamie a cavity search with the dildo. They finally stop when Jamie looks satisfied.

This is a pretty hot scene. Jamie is nicely vocal, and Jezebelle really gets into working on her. Terri’s a nice addition as well, but she’s so restrained here that beautiful as she is, she held the scene back a little for me. Normally I like to see everybody into everybody else in a group scene, but here the focus of Terri and Jezebelle trying to work a confession out of Jamie worked very nicely for having the action more lopsided. The artistic editing was a bit hit or miss for me, but the chemistry and the action helped the scene to work pretty well for me.

Scene 2 - Katja Kassin, Tanya James, and Gia Paloma

Tanya, Gia, and Katja start their scene out in different colored dresses around a bed in a seventies style scene. Tanya and Gia start out admiring Katja’s amazing ass before they work their way around a bit more to check out Gia’s tits and all of Tanya’s package. Tanya stays in the middle to eat Katja while Gia works on her pussy before Katja comes down to help Gia. She’s rewarded by the girls working on her with a pair of dildos that the girls use to work on Katja’s mouth as well as both of her holes. Gia gets her turn next with a toy in the ass and a vibe on her clit before anally sharing a double dildo with Katja as Tanya watches and works herself over with another toy. Finally, the scene fades out.

This is an okay scene. The girls seem to be into each other okay, but I think that if it would have ended five minutes sooner than it did and it would have been a stronger scene. As is, it seems extremely long and the artistic feel of the scene really started to vacillate between annoying me and boring me. The girls look great and seem to have fun, but this scene ended up feeling very average.

Scene 3 - Jennifer Luv and Breanne

After a boxing match, Breanne helps clean up Jennifer. She wipes away the blood before giving her a massage, starting with Jennifer’s back and then letting her roll over so her front can be caressed. She kisses Jennifer’s nipples before moving her mouth further south so her tongue can caress Jennifer’s muff. Breanne sucks her fingers a little as well before bending over and rubbing her pussy while Jennifer licks and fingers it from behind. They move on with a bit of sixty-nining before Breanne fucks Jennifer with a dildo. Finally the scene fades out with Breanne and Jennifer licking Jennifer’s juices off the toy.

This is an above average scene. The artistic style of the scene is a bit more straightforward, and the few boxing clips worked nicely to break apart the positions. The scene never made it much past the above average mark for me because it seemed way too soft. Yes, part of me thinks it fits well with the “healing” feel the scene started with, but at the same time it seems like a little edge would fit in very well also. There’s no edge whatsoever here, and the scene felt like it was more concerned with being pretty than anything else. This is a nice looking scene, but it just doesn’t have much depth.

Scene 4 - Tanya James and Gia Jordan

Blonde Tanya returns, this time posing in a black and white kind of fifties-style sexy polka dot outfit as sexy brunette Gia, who looks greaet in a white button down shirt and a short olive skirt with shoes that match, snaps photos of her. After they briefly check each other out, Tanya bends over and lets Gia work both of her holes over with her tongue as well as massaging her brown starfish as she fingers her pussy. Tanya reciprocates with the help of a pink vibe as Gia presents her goodies to her lying upside down in a chair. Tanya even adds a second vibe to Gia’s ass to give her a technical DP before lying back and letting Gia lick her while she fucks herself with a blue dildo. Gia watches Tanya fuck herself with the blue dildo while fucking her own ass with a string of purple anal beads. The scene finally fades out after Gia and Tanya share a slow and passionate kiss with Gia giving her one of her wonderfully naughty smiles.

This is a pretty hot scene, and quite possibly my favorite in the movie. Gia, as usual, does a fantastic job, and Tanya does a pretty good job as well. The scene started out rough for me as it seemed like it was trying to avoid Gia’s face, which there’s no reason whatsoever to avoid, and instead came off like a poorly done tease. Once the camera feels like it wants to admit that Gia’s in front of it the scene comes off much better, and not surprisingly Gia puts out a great anal performance while also doing a great job taking on Tanya. This is a pretty hot scene that felt like it could have been even better with a few minor tweaks.

Scene 5 - Charisma Cole and Felix Vicious

Dark brunette Charisma and light brunette Felix start their scene out as the ‘husband’ and wife, respectively, toppings on a wedding cake. Felix is quickly stripped out of her dress, bra, and panties before they kiss and Charisma is stripped down to her thong. Charisma kisses her way across Felix’s body before landing between her legs and working her over with her tongue and fingers. Felix returns Charisma’s affections in kind before they sixty-nine. Finally, the girls revert back to being cake tops.

One word came to mind watching this scene. Okay, two words came to mind watching this scene. The first was “Boring” and the second was “Yawn”. It’s really too bad, because both of these ladies are cute as hell and I’ve seen them turn out some great sapphic sessions in the past. Here, however, the scene confused “romantic” and “sleep inducing”, and I’m afraid that if I would have watched it closer to those couple wonderful mugs of Summit Oktoberfest I had with my supper tonight it would have put me away for good for the rest of the night. The girls seem to be into each other okay, but the scene aims for soft, romantic, and generic (outside of the setup) so much while killing any real passion to the point that I really didn’t care about much of anything in it.

Lezbo A-Go-Go is an average at best all girl movie. On the bright side of it, the cast is very nice looking and the scenes have a decent artistic feeling. Unfortunately, the artistic feeling often gets in the way of the action, and in some parts of the movie kills it completely. I had a frequent feeling like the action was being held back to be overly soft, and there wasn’t a single scene where I was completely pulled into the action by the girls in the scene. Also missing from the movie was some of Passolini’s usual sense of humor. Lezbo A-Go-Go is a stale all girl movie with the only thing that seemed unique in it being some of Passolini’s artistic eye, and even that seemed a bit recycled here. As a Passolini fan, I was very disappointed by Lezbo A-Go-Go.

The Extra Stuff

To start with, you have the option between watching the movie as it was meant to be or in a Wall to Wall mode that skips all the fast forward fodder. A cast listing quickly flips through the female cast showing a photo of the star with her name and her VCA credits. Trailers are included for Cafe Flesh 3,The Ozporns Go To Hell, and New Wave Hookers 7. Finally there’s commercials.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many VCA Classics DVDs can be found online for between about $10 and $20. You might want to rent this one first. The sex is okay, but nothing special. There’s some nice effort put into the technical aspects, but very little into the extras. This is an okay DVD.

Note to VCA: Passolini used to be one of your best directors. It’s too bad to see you tossing him away with stuff like this.
