This release from North Carolina-based Adam & Eve, usually known for their softish couples-oriented fare, is exactly what it says; a Big Ass Orgy. The impressive cast is highlighted by Euro super-sluts Melissa Lauren and Katja Kassin and the always fabulous Gia Paloma. Each of the chicks are paired off with a male performer (a.k.a. stunt cock) and the whole gang of them just go at it for 91 minutes in a large and luxurious living room with oriental rugs everywhere.

There is only one long scene which lasts for the duration of the movie. The first thing I noticed is that the lighting ranges from bad to terrible throughout the film. Everything in the room looks either orange or red; the skin tones of the performers did not seem natural at all. There's also a giant spotlight on the ceiling which is visible at most times, and throws an additional unnatural glow over the proceedings.

The chicks start off in a badly shot, timid Lesbian and masturbation group bang. Everybody seems to be kind of directionless, and there's not as much heat as there is in a similar girl-girl group scene such as in the "Cousin Stevie's Pussy Party" series. The stars of the show, though, Melissa and Katja, look simply fantastic as they finger their pussies.

Eventually the guys show up and pair off with the girls. They fuck on couches, over by a piano, and humping bodies cover the room as the director pans around quickly to try to get everything in. This camera work combined with the bad lighting is quite disorienting. The girl's heads get cut off it seems in virtually every scene. There's way too many close-ups and bad camera angles.

Melissa and Katja go front and center for some reverse cowgirl anal. Gia and Melissa go in for some deep-throat oral in a circle blow-bang. The guys line up to return the oral favor on each girl and pound them in missionary. The entire thing is pretty uninspired, and one girl just seems to sit around and finger herself the whole time. The movie ends in a giant clusterfuck where everyone just kind of writhes around on each other, followed by some lame body shots and a few surprisingly hot facials. Gia in particular gets facially covered as the scene fades out.

Completists, who need to have every single movie made by Melissa, Katja or Gia might want to pick this one up. Otherwise it is not a good effort overall. The camera work is frenzied and amateurish, the picture quality is mediocre, and the sex is uninspired for the most part. Of course I love the presence of Melissa in this one, and she makes the movie interesting for me, but most porn viewers will probably be left cold by this "Big Ass Orgy." The concept and the cast are pretty good, but the execution of the final product is lacking.
