Review brief: My Plaything Monica Sweetheart Directed by S. Taylor Overall Impression I have been eagerly anticipating this installment of "My Plaything" for several reasons. I have always been very impressed with Sweetheart, from her Private days to her gonzo stardom. However I have always felt that she needed to learn how to play to the camera more. Even when working for directors who tend to encourage their starlets to make eye contact with the camera, it is very rare that you see her flashing those radiant eyes at the camera or viewer. Even Jules Jordan hardly got any eye contact from her in "Lex the Impaler 2". So being partial to female eye contact, I knew I would finally get to see it here from Monica. The other reason I have been looking forward to this release is because I wanted to see if there would be any new innovations in format from Digital Sin. There may not be any radical changes to the series in this edition, but the overall quality of the product continues to improve with this edition. Monica delivers a phenomenal performance in this one.

Review brief: Released back in 1995 and just recently returning again to dvd, River Patrol truly stands up as a classic! It has been re-released as the Directors Expanded Edit which from what I could tell there is about 35-40 minutes of scenes that have been extended. For those of you who dont own this be sure to pick it up! For those of you who already own it, I really dont think its worth buying another copy, even for the commentary which is really the only extra to be worthwhile. This won an award from the Adam Gay Video Directory when it was released too! You can read my previous review for all the juicy details but here Id just like to add some new comments. This dvd is still first rate with great camera work, hot men and plenty of action and I cant believe 7 years have gone by since its release! Time flies when youre jerking off! Ha ha. Anyway, I hadnt watched this in years and still found it to be quite enjoyable.

Review brief: Having grown up near the St. Lawrence River I was really looking forward to viewing Legacy Entertainments Environmental Impact due to its locale and storyline and I wasnt disappointed. Well produced, directed, and featuring a hot, young Candian cast it sure delivered the goods! And for such a good price you must pick this one up! The story centers around a power plant just south of Montreal that wants to expand and a group of college students out to investigate its impact on the local environment. It opens with Mathias Bouvier, the professors assistant, telling the professor that he has seen what is going on and has his team investigating the situation. Roland Therrien and Toine Rousseau are part of the team and as Roland lifts up Toine to get some tree leaves Toines crotch is in his face. However there are a few scenes could brought the overall quality down a notch, plus I was not a big fan of the plot development scenes. However this is still some top notch porn and showcases some of Ninn's best work with Jeanna Fine and Vicca. Review brief: Tanya Hyde's Twisted Dreams Directed by Tanya Hyde Overall Impression This is another fantastic film from the "Queen of Kink" Tanya Hyde! This film was her follow up effort to the ground breaking "Xtreme Desires." There are just so many thing that I love about this film it is hard to know where to begin. Hyde always manages to bring her unique style to the screen by utilizing so many techniques masterfully. In about 99 of porn, when directors decide they are going to play around with visual effects or mess with the sound they fail. Hyde uses these directors tools with a deft touch in my opinion, allowing the editing and color shifts to enhance the mood she has already created through with great sets, themes and costumes. If you are already familiar with Hyde's films then you should already have a good idea of what to expect. She explores some very kinky sexual themes throughout the course of this film. The film is broken up into six vignettes, each exploring different sexual scenarios that are often taboo in some way.

This immediately clues us into to the fact that here is not another cranked out quickie but a film with which the director/producer/writer has taken great care. MANPLAY 1 bears a striking resemeblance to such underground classics as Gage's CLOSED SET and ORGY, minus the adult action stars (Richard Locke, i.e.) of its forebarers, er - forebearers. There of course is no plot, this is a gang-busting gang-banger of a video! Loads of men, loads of sex and loads of loads is what you get when you pop this baby into the player. Most of the pleasure comes from watching lithe John Truitt working his way through what seems to be every other man on the set.

Review brief: Tanya Hyde's Twisted Dreams Directed by Tanya Hyde Overall Impression This is another fantastic film from the "Queen of Kink" Tanya Hyde! This film was her follow up effort to the ground breaking "Xtreme Desires." There are just so many thing that I love about this film it is hard to know where to begin. Hyde always manages to bring her unique style to the screen by utilizing so many techniques masterfully. In about 99 of porn, when directors decide they are going to play around with visual effects or mess with the sound they fail. Hyde uses these directors tools with a deft touch in my opinion, allowing the editing and color shifts to enhance the mood she has already created through with great sets, themes and costumes. If you are already familiar with Hyde's films then you should already have a good idea of what to expect. She explores some very kinky sexual themes throughout the course of this film. The film is broken up into six vignettes, each exploring different sexual scenarios that are often taboo in some way.

Review brief: The cast is introduced by very artsy double exposures that play over an original song. This immediately clues us into to the fact that here is not another cranked out quickie but a film with which the director/producer/writer has taken great care. When the film proper begins, Brad Rocka hunkdrives up to his house. He has a copy of XXX Showcase, that he carries out by the pool. As he looks at the magazine, one of the pictures comes to life. Xavier, a cute Latino, is pulling down Rhett OHaras briefs to get to the big dick therein. Xavier demonstrates his oral skills by going down on it. He is also adept at swallowing Rhetts balls. Rhett is new to me. (His nom de porn is obviously derived from Rhett Butler and Scarlett OHara.) He is a sexy guy with scads of colorful tattoos and some in the making that actually add to his appeal rather than detract. Hes a pretty good cocksucker, too. Review brief: Although The Private Gladiator falls short of the adult/mainstream crossover film that Private wishes the film was, the film is still a very well done film. Viewers who like nastier sex with a plot should enjoy this film whereas viewers who like tame sex or can't stand a plot will want to skip this film. The only difference between this release of The Private Gladiator and the standard Gold release is the packaging and the collectable booklet, the discs are exactly the same. If you can live without the packaging and booklet, you might want to go with the standard edition as it is cheaper to buy.

Review brief: Flesh Hunter 2 Directed by Jules Jordan Overall Impression This is a very fine piece of gonzo entertainment. This disc is worth every penny just for Shyla and Alexa's performances alone. Jules delivers again, great casting, super sexy outfits, great camera work, and some steamy sex. What more could you want. Plot Ok there is no real plot, but jules does set up a few fake story lines that lead into some of the sex scenes, so I did give this gonzo title a rating for plot/acting. For example I thought Alexa's turn as a real estate agent was very well done. Scene 1 Jenna Haze Jenna celebrates her "Teen Pageant" victory with a three on one. She looks good and delivers a solid performance with all kinds of positions, but 3 on 1s is not a male to female ratio I need to see. However it does get this disc started with a bang. Aprox 27min Scene 2 Shyla I would just like to thank Jules for bringing this girl to my attention, because she is one sexy little vixen.
