Review brief: This is my first purchase from Diabolic's Gangbang Audition series. I know exactly what's gonna take place, come on, we're talking about Diabolic here! There's gonna be good solid performances with a bit of anal, DPP, DP, DAP, A2M, and all the usual positions thrown in for good measure. This movie has a respectable female cast in Shyla, Kimberly and Judy, and not forgetting those lucky bastards who get to ruin these pretty girls...the Diabolic Crew consisting of Lexington Steele, Mr Marcus, Eric Everhard etc. You may think these are the ingredients for a good hardcore movie but unfortunately I feel some ingredients have been omitted. Scene 1: Shyla V's the Diabolic Crew Moans and Groans This and every other scene begins with a lame black and white interview. How boring is this interview? Answer: very boring. In fact, when I saw the box cover I didnt even realise it was a Vivid film. The studio has also implemented other presentational changes. One thing that struck me right away were the revitalised extras, which still arent anything spectacular (decent photo gallery, too few trailers, unrelated sex scenes, extra cast clips as well as a Vivid Girl facials segment) but are welcome relief to the previous arrangement. Hopefully Vivid are taking consumer input onboard. The sex in the film also seemed slightly harder than in past Vivid features. Im not sure if that increases or decreases couples appeal, but Raven has a marginally less vanilla flavour than I expected. Also worth noting is that the scenes arent disrupted by the new angle indicator, which has shrunk considerably and appears only briefly.

Intrigue & Pleasure is a modest feature from Private Black Label starring Michelle Wild and Britnee. Overall, its got exactly what youd expect from Private, packaged exactly how youd expect, which is possibly problematic. Intrigue & Pleasure is a decent sex flick by all accounts and Private does some things well, but it also does some things not so well and that rarely changes. I guess, more fairly, thats the studios style and Private undoubtedly deserves credit for delivering so consistently. Getting what you expect in porn is a rare treat. To begin with, the DVD extras are good as usual for Private. Reviewers expectations of extras vary greatly but Im quite happy with Privates trailers, filming reports and production notes. Also included are extra languages, subtitles and cast bios. Private films also have very good lengths and the A/V quality is good.

Initial Reaction: Theres a nice focus on feet and some good scenes, but the camera work holds it back. Who Should Watch It : Anybody who likes gonzo porn thats on the very basic side. Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who likes very high quality gonzo porn. Audio /Video Quality: The audio varies quite a bit, but for the most part it sounds kind of hollow. Its a typical problem with gonzo porn and not the only gonzo problem to appear here. Theres also some shaky camera work, some fairly minor focus problems, and a few places where the shadows get in the way a bit. The camera work is the biggest problem, and moves aorund to the point I felt slightly nauseous a couple times.

Review brief: Taboo 2001 Sex Odyssey Studio: Metro Date of Production: 07-2000 Before Viewing Expectations: This is a two dvd set and the cover says it has over 5 hours of footage across both discs. It has also received 10 AVN nominations, so it should be a good movie. The list of extras seems quite impressive, and is said to include things like PC wallpaper and screensavers. There are only a few really tiny thumbnails of the action, but from them, we can see that this movies uses some very elaborate costumes. Just based on the cover, I'm expecting a lot out of this title. The Action: The movie opens with a couple sitting on a couch in a futuristic apartment. He is trying to convince her to put on a virtual reality (VR) headset so they can have some cyber sex. She hesitates saying even the though of sex can get them arrested. He persists, and soon they are cybersexing. The camera cuts back and forth from the cybersex action to reality. As they engage in some oral activities, the alarms at the Thought Policy headquarters goes off and the female cops spring into action.

Im hoping this one lives up to my memory of others in this series. Initial Reaction: Its a nicely done compilation, although Ive seen Nikita in a few better scenes that werent included here. Who Should Watch It : Fans of Nikita Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants to see some of Nikitas racier scenes Audio /Video Quality: The audio and video are well done. The audio is normally clear and well balanced, although there are a few spots that are a little on the low side.
