Review brief: Sky Foxes is a 1987 VCA release which offers all that was good (and bad) in 80s porn. That is, the plot is asinine, the sets amateur, the acting miserable, and the pubic hair plentiful. On the other hand, the girls look pretty good (despite the hairy bushes), the camera stays on the action pretty well, and there is heat in nearly every scene. This flick is so old, it apparently was legal in those days to smoke on airplanes. The stewardesses (not called flight attendants then) all wear very low-cut uniforms and take every opportunity to stick their tits in the faces of the male travelers. The star of this oldie but goodies, IHMO, is cute blond Sheena Horne. She offered a girl next door look and was always sexually energetic. Not the drop dead gorgeous looks of, say, Ginger Lynn, but a wholesome face and dynamite body. Come back, Sheena! Review brief: Pop My Ass is one of those flicks youd love to like, because the sex is pretty hot and nasty. Unfortunately, its tough getting excited about seeing average to fair looking (at best) women getting hosed. The emphasis of the sex here is, obviously, the female ass. The girls all get their butts drilled, and there is plenty of butt plug, anal bead, and dildo insertion. Review brief: Sex and Romance is strictly couples fare, and its only marginally decent at that. Raincoaters should pass. The story revolves around blond cutie Jessica Drake, a horny novelist who writes randy tomes that come to life as she types away. There is decent music throughout, good sets and lighting, but horrible acting, a lame script, a bit of looping, average girls, and lukewarm sex. Brunette Victoria Givens, she of the bad boob job, romps with Evan stone in a bubble bath to open the action, such as it is. Hope the water was hot, because the sex is not even close to steamy here. It ends in an open mouth facial. Drake is next, and she pairs off with Brad Armstrong in a kitchen tryst. Review brief: I picked this screener with the hope it was a compilation of Nikita scenes. Of course, I neglected to check the other redline reviews which would've given ample warning to stay away. This one is an AVOID AT ALL COST DVD. Nikita is only in the first scene (not a very good one with Mark Wood) and the action was okay but the picture quality was atrocious. On top of that, the sound is muffled and overdubbed with cheesy music. The rest of the DVD is a compilation of various clips of other less-recognizable performers. They are poor quality (presumably, most from the real amateur porn series) but I recognized one with Avy Scott in a G/G scene (with Loni?). No extras, plenty of forced 800 phone-line ads. The clips are basically out-takes/ extended take / b-roll footage. One of them actually shows the crew improvising a cumshot to a girl's ass by using clear lube! The set was clean and the lighting was bright, cameras were sharply focused. It could have been really good. Review brief: I picked this screener with the hope it was a compilation of Nikita scenes. Of course, I neglected to check the other redline reviews which would've given ample warning to stay away. This one is an AVOID AT ALL COST DVD. Nikita is only in the first scene (not a very good one with Mark Wood) and the action was okay but the picture quality was atrocious. On top of that, the sound is muffled and overdubbed with cheesy music. The rest of the DVD is a compilation of various clips of other less-recognizable performers. They are poor quality (presumably, most from the real amateur porn series) but I recognized one with Avy Scott in a G/G scene (with Loni?). No extras, plenty of forced 800 phone-line ads. The clips are basically out-takes/ extended take / b-roll footage. One of them actually shows the crew improvising a cumshot to a girl's ass by using clear lube! The set was clean and the lighting was bright, cameras were sharply focused. It could have been really good. But the scenes were too short, something like 20 individual scenes in an hour and half; only about 4 minutes per scene. There was no set-up to the scenes.
