Anal Romance 2 (Platinum X) Review

When it comes to sex, “anal” and “romance” are usually mutually-exclusive terms. Not so in “Anal Romance #2,” a Steve Holmes flick that tries to make everyone believe that women love being abused to the nth degree.

Holmes and his cronies (Erik Everhard and Manuel Ferrara) come from the new school of porn, which teaches that we, the viewers, buy their product to see girls get poked, prodded, spanked, slapped, throat gagged, gaped, hair pulled, and tits squeezed tightly. It’s probably a relief to the femmes when all they have to endure is a cock up their sphincter.

This is not pretty sex; it’s abusive and overboard. I know there’s a market for this genre; I’m just not standing in line at the cash register.

Michelle Banks is an unattractive brunette with a huge tat on her tailbone and stretch marks on her thighs. She lets Holmes have his evil way with her as she licks his ass, gets choked, and has him gape her incessantly. This is okay in Steve’s book, of course, because he stops every minute to give her a passionate kiss and show how much he really cares for her. There’s the standard excessive anal sex and A2M, as well as an open-mouth facial.

Tiffany Mynx used to be one of my all-time favorites, but she has overstayed her welcome. Never a stunner, Tiff was always a nasty performer who brought excitement and heat to her scenes. Now a brunette, she looks like … well, someone who has been abused regularly since 1992. Ferrara gets to have his fun here, but even a trooper like Tiff seems annoyed by his antics. What a long fall by a former star!

You get the idea, so I’ll save you the play-by-play on the last three scenes involving (in order) Haley Paige, Tiffany Hopkins, and Isabel Ice. The guys are in charge here, not even allowing the girls to give them harassment-free blowjobs. There is no cohesion to the sex, what with all the stoppages for A2M, P2M, choking, mock kissing. The eye watering this induces in the girls makes for the ever-popular mascara running down the cheek look. Ugly!

The DVD extras include a Cumshot Recap, Photo Gallery, Behind the Scenes, Trailers, Web info, and three Bonus Scenes. Two of the scenes involve Tiff, which just makes the whole experience harder to take.
