Darkko's Anal Showdown Review

I think this is my first Darkko review. Since my colleagues have given you the blow by blow details, I wanted to give my general impressions of this movie. Lauren Phoenix and Katja Kassin are two of my favourite porn stars for their obvious qualities. Duhhhh I'm talking about their foreign accents. Creating a scenario where I have to judge one against the other is not fair.

Premise is this. You have 3 rounds like in amateur boxing where the two girls strut their stuff. The first round is the feeling out process or more commonly known as the solo scene. I preferred Katja's solo scene because Darkko has a way of capturing her ass where it's always kaboom in the viewer's face. I thought the second round was flawed where the girls compete on the girl/girl cause it does depend a lot on who their partner was. Sandra Romain is normally an animal when I see her with men. She's paired up with Katja. Lauren is paired up with Katrina Kraven who's an animal in her own right. However, I thought Katrina put forth the better lesbian loving effort so round 2 goes to Lauren. The main event is the b/b/g scene and both girls shine. Appropriately, like hats, Katja is in black mesh while Lauren is in white mesh. Mark Davis and John Dough (who keeps his glasses on for the scene) impale Katja to the point where she did look like a chicken on a rotisserie. There was this one point where one of the guys shoved his hand in her butt and Katja made a face as she takes his hand in her mouth. That swung the round to Lauren as she rocked Mark Ashley and Steve Taylor. I could say she was fucking them instead of their fucking her.

I'm not sure what to make of the concept of this series. Jonni is a fine shooter but it felt like everything was just filler until the third round. Now I realise that the whole point is to build up anticipation to the final round but I found myself skipping ahead of the solo and lesbian scenes because I was bored. When it comes down to it; only 1/3 of the movie was the money part. The extras include two 20 minute behind the scenes of each girl. Jonni looks very happy with his job... I would be too.
