Initial Expectations: With this lineup of lovely ladies and Darkko behind the camera, I’m not sure how anybody couldn’t have high expectations.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced without a single background noise that I noticed. The video is also nicely done. There’s a little camera motion, but Jonni has a passion about his work that makes it much more tolerable to me because he makes it feel like you have to hurry up and look somewhere else or you’ll miss it. It’s also nicely lit, but it does have a touch of softness.

Music: Unlike so many other Evil Angel releases, Anal Showdown actually has music. There isn’t music throughout the entire feature, but it nicely starts out each scene with a pretty good balance and some nice style that fits the scenes.

Menus: There’s some nice animation to start things out with a very fun feeling and to give a very good first impression. The chapter menu shows the usual care one would expect from Evil Angel, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the ladies in each scene. There’s also the fetish menu to let you go directly to specific sex acts such as cumshots, double penetrations, and blowjobs.

The Feature

There are very few things in life which are free from rivalries. Heck, it’s even there in monopolies like the government where they all compete to see who can fuck you the most by taking the most of your hard earned money and flushing it down the drain. Here, Katja and Lauren show that they’re more than willing to fuck for you, and they each put their ass on the line in Jonni Darkko’s Anal Showdown.

Scene 1 - Katja Kassin

Scene 2 - Lauren Phoenix

This is another winner of a scene. If anything, I think Lauren might have won this round. She stretches things out just a little more, and not just her ass. The longer finger play really worked well for me, and she had a little more of a sultry feel to her scene than Katja did. This is a very hot solo scene.

Scene 3 - Katja Kassin and Sandra Romain

Scene 4 - Lauren Phoenix and Katrina Kraven

Not surprisingly, this is yet another great scene. This round, however, I think Katja took the prize. In both cases the girls did a great job, but where Sandra and Katja kept things on a very even level between them in their scene, I think that Katrina Kraven really outdid Lauren in this scene. Katrina put her all into the scene right from the start, and she never gave up. Yes, Lauren gave a solid performance, but this scene was all Katrina.

Scene 5 - Katja Kassin, Mark Davis, and Jon Dough

This is hot scene.

Scene 6 - Lauren Phoenix, Mark Ashley, and Steve Taylor

Lauren starts her final scene out in a similar outfit that’s white instead of black showing off in front of the full length mirror again. To me, leaving the guy out of the scene is okay, but it should never feel like you’re deliberately trying to leave him out. Lauren does a nice job with the facial, but I’m not sure it can stand up to Katja’s swallowing finish. In the end, Katja and Lauren might tie for this round.

Anal Showdown is an extremely impressive fuck flick. To start with, I love the idea behind the movie. Having two popular girls compete against each other with three scenes each so they can show off their skills at masturbation, lesbian action, and fucking is a great idea. The girls both do a great job throughout the movie, and there really isn’t a bad scene in the entire movie. It was also a very nice mix throughout the movie for me, as I thought Lauren excelled at the masturbation, Katja excelled at the lesbian, and they both did a very even job in the group sex. In the end, I’m not sure there’s any loser in Anal Showdown, and the only clear winner is the viewer.

Lauren Phoenix’s behind the scenes featurette lasts about twenty four minutes. After Lauren poses for a few photos and some of the action, Lauren talks about working with Jonni, what she loves about sex and girls, her fans, and the AVN show. There’s a lot of ground covered, and I’m not sure if Lauren came off as very relaxed or just a little too professional. There’s also a little fun between Jonni and Lauren as he helps her get ready for the boxcover shoot. There’s a lot more fun with Katrina Kraven before Jonni tries out the Ass Pacifier on her. This is a very nice behind the scenes featurette with plenty of fun.

Katja Kassin’s behind the scenes lasts about five minutes. Most of the footage is Jonni taking still photos, but there’s a little personality as you see him trying to get things how he wants them. There’s also a little action, but not much. This is an okay collection of behind the scenes footage.

Currently, most Evil Angel releases can be found online for between $18 and $28 with many stores offering them for around $20. This one’s well worth the money. The sex is very nicely done, and there’s plenty of heat in every scene. The technical aspects are nicely done and there’s some nice effort put into the extras. This is a very well done DVD.
