Review brief: I haven't watched an Anabolic movie since the infamous exodus of performers and directors to Red Light District around 2003. Back when I was watching Anabolic, I got used to its raw gritty feel where every scene seemed to have wall-to-wall sex in some empty storage room in some office or warehouse (with a mattress of course) or in the standard sleazy motel room. Five years later, I am kind of shocked at the difference.

Review brief: From what I understand, Jules Jordan is a perfectionist. He will keep a scene in the vault if he isn't happy with how the scene came out. He's one of the few people in the business that can afford to do this. Eventually though, he'll release a gem or two featuring someone who is either gone from the business or is exclusive to another company. In this movie we get another look at Cris Taliana. Gina Lynn & Sean Michaels Lela Star & Mr. Marcus August Night & Mr. Marcus Velicity Von & Brian Pumper Cris Taliana & Mr. Marcus Leah Luv & Mandingo Cris Taliana is a perky half korean half white girl that always seems to enjoy her scene and this one is no different. However, what surprised me was the lighting of the scene. Jules is known for using daylight to light his scene but Cris's scene with Marcus is indoors, no windows, and incandescent lighting. I guess that may be the reason why Jules kept this scene in the vault for so long. As for the other scenes, this movie was strictly a IR b/g movie.

Review brief: I've been behind on reviewing the College Invasion series. This time we find the crew in Gainesville, Florida so I guess that means we're at a University of Florida fraternity. I see maybe one possible middle eastern guy and maybe one or two hispanics in a sea of fraternity white. Of course it's not Shane's World's fault that there probably aren't that many diverse (non-academic-honorary) fraternities out there but the guys sometimes get lucky in this series and it would be nice to have a diverse pool for the girls to work from. The civilian scenes were fine. One guy popped early while another guy had some trouble keeping up with Memphis Monroe.

Review brief: Even with a title like Anal POV (Prostitutes on Video), I'm still surprised when every girl did anal. I mean, yeah, girls like Sandra Romain, Katsumi, and Annette Schwarz are known for their anal antics but the presence of Dee took me by surprise. First, it took me a while to recognise Dee because I'm so used to seeing her curly dark hair. Here, she has straight hair with long brown highlights. She looks like a Nubian Princess... like Iman in that Michael Jackson video. Second, most of my viewing experience with Dee has been in features where anal isn't emphasised. But she puts in a good scene with Erik and I'm glad Erik throws us a curveball every once in a while where the premise of the series doesn't promise much variety. You know every girl is basically doing a one on one with Erik and you know there's going to be anal. The POV may limit Erik's trademark energy but he mixes things up a bit with how he dresses a girl.

The two scenes that stood out were definitely the Whitney Stevens and Paulina James/Evelyn Lin scenes.

Review brief: Vince Voyeur's 3 on Me POV is a natural progression of his Multiple POV series over at Red Light District. Rather than have all three girls attack the guy at once, the scenes are tiered where the scene starts with one girl and then there's an excuse in the "plot" to add another girl, and then again. Lexi Love, then Allie Ray, then Charlotte Stokely Violet Marcelle, then Honey, and then Roxy Deville Sue Diamond, then Tiffany (a) & Codi Star (a) I must say that since Vince has left RLD, his movies have improved. It's not just the lack of watermark; either his ghost directors, cameramen, or editors have changed. Even in a pov, you'd figure Vince would be the first person perspective but behind the scenes show Kyle Stone for the Violet scene and I see Erik Everhard credited too. Then again I also see Kelsey Michaels credited when I couldn't find her in the movie or extras... easter egg? I'm just confused. Having those extra girls adds to the heat of the pov, although I wonder why the plot has Honey leave the scene before the finish.

Now I've never reviewed a Darkko NS/DS movie but I've reviewed plenty of NS/DS movies (most notably by Tyrone Shuz) where I commented on the Darkko influence. After watching this movie, I say screw it... it has to be Darkko holding the camera in those other movies in the distinct way the lighting (natural) is setup, the camera , and the angles he uses. Hell the same exact white leather couch with the black armrests! Besides that, we have some vignetting on the lower left hand side in Georgia's scene and of course the oil sometimes gets on the camera lens. However the worst thing about the oil is that it doesn't stick to the couch and it eventually reaches the girl's hair which leaves it a limp greasy mess. Flower's hair was already wet when the scene started.

Re-Penetrator, a clever title and originally released as on the Burning Angel website, is a spoof of all the schlocky horror movies out there. Review brief: Looks like the Shane's World crew has gotten lazy. Instead of going around on a trip to some college campus or field trip to party, they've decided to host a party at one of the usual porn houses. Review brief: Usually when I pop in a gonzo dvd, I usually watch the behind the scenes first to get a feel for the movie and the performers before watching the actual movie scenes themselves. This dvd was no different in that it gave a hint on what was to come. Alicia Alighatti (a, dp), Tony T, and Chris Charming Courtney Simpson & Tony T Brianna Noel, Chris Cannon, and Van Damage Penny Flame & Sascha Missy Monroe (a) & Chris Charming Axel Braun is now shooting for Hustler and he still retains his 24p video camera. The look is similar to his Digital Sin - New Sensations line but there is a difference but I chalk that to the editing over at Hustler. The movie is titled Heat but I had in mind a different type of heat from watching the behind the scenes. As Penny Flame explains in the BTS, she gave Sascha a lousy lay the first time she ever fucked him. However, it seems like she has a fever in this movie as her skin is flushed red and her voice is a more hoarse.

Review brief: Jack's Teen America is nominated for the XRCO award of Best Gonzo Series (2005). The first thing I thought when I saw the cover of Teen America 5 was trick pornography since Devon was there! As I watch the intro, I was wondering what Jayna Oso, Sandra Shine, and especially Dascha was doing in a teen gonzo movie! The person who dressed up and did makeup on Devon has to be commended. The scene is called Chinese Takeout and she's fits the part.

Review brief: Beaver Hunt is Hustler's casting couch series. I think in the magazine the beaver hunt is where amateurs send in their photos so the video series concept is different since these girls have been in numerous movies by now. Speaking of Gianna when she takes off her clothes, her skin colour shocked me as it is much darker than you would expect from her face. The sex for the most part was average. Most of these "newbies" can't give decent head but ride the cock okay. Renee was the strongest performer but it was just good.

Review brief: Wanted to watch this movie because I like Kelsey Michaels and Riley Mason. Jeanie Marie Sullivan also has an unconventional look to her that I like. Jeanie Marie Sullivan, Mark Ashley, and Marco Duarto Emma Redd & Mark Riley Mason & Mark Breezy, Savanna Stern (creampie), and Mark Kelsey Michaels (creampie) & Mark Looks like most of the girls are newbies at sex as they aren't that good at it. Mark Ashley is the director and he pretty much is a newbie at lighting. I'm surprised that Mike Metropolis was the cameraman since the movies he directs has even natural lighting. Here Mark just blocks from the girl especially in mish so the focus is on him not the girl. Starting off the gate I was surprised by the strong incandescent lighting of Jeanie's scene as she tells us a story about being pulled over by a cop while she was in a cop's uniform. Emma Redd looked like Tricia Devereaux without the full body (it's in the hair).

Review brief: One of the classics. I watched this movie several years ago and I remembered thinking that Buttman captured Rocco at his spontaneous best. Since I lived in Montreal for many years, it was fun identifying some of the landmarks in between Rocco's pillaging spree. Erik Everhard's new video, Canadian Beaver, made me revisit this classic. The scene that stood out most was Buttman and Rocco's visit to St. Catherine St., specifically to a club called Downtown which I've passed by many times.

Review brief: I haven't watched a John Leslie movie in a while because he drives me bonkers shooting into the light which blinds the viewer from some of the action. I made an exception for Naomi who is a Czech-Israeli with the most incredible ass since Vida Guerra. She participates in every scene in this movie: Solo masturbation scene James Dean including anal Marie Luv (a, dp), Erik Everhard, and Sascha Blowbang with some fucking of her buttcrack frotteurism - Mario, Arnold Schwarzenpecker, Scott Lyons, and Mike Hash Tee Reel, Lefty Larue, and Brian Pumper Mysti May and Mark Davis For the most part I liked this movie. Leslie continues to use natural lighting in his movies but he stays away from the windows. We still have a murky feel but I didn't it as much especially since it fits in with his Voyeur style. Occasionally you'll see some flaring which makes me wonder if his lens is scratched. This is evident in the second scene with James Deen. The camera is peeping on Naomi from outside and then peeping on Deen peeping on Naomi.

Review brief: Pirates is up for several XRCO awards including Best Release, Best Epic, and Best DVD Extras along with nominees in both best male and female performances. I sat through the 2006 AVN Awards and it got predictable who would win whenever it was a category that Pirates was nominated in. I just never watched it until now oblivious to the hype that was following it. Pirates comes in a beautiful 3 dvd box with great shots of its stars on each side as it unfolds out. One dvd is the movie, one side is the extras, and one side is a high definition. Feeling adventurous and knowing that my computer could play hd wmv files, I popped in the hd disc. That's when all hell broke loose. My windows security blocked an ocx file from installing itself. My registry alarm prevented my registry from being altered and my firewall prevented some fucking program from trying to access the internet. Then finally a screen came up telling me an active x element was missing so it refused to do anything else. So I called bullshit and played the wmv file directly.

Review brief: Whale Tail is a fun series by Smash that is nominated for Best Gonzo Series for the XRCO Awards. The emphasis from the title is the little whale tail from a g-string that sticks out in the back of low riding jeans. It's a great look and a cute concept to focus on. You have a focus on that particular time of tease and when the sex is in doggy you see the whale tail pulled to the side which is a favourite of mine. Cassie Courtland & Kurt Lockwood Loretta Loren & Christian Franchezca Valentina & Mark Ashley Kaylynn (a) & Jenner(?) Nadia Styles (a) & Rico Strong (?) Kaylynn stood out in a series of mostly young looking girls. She is a woman compared to the other girls and she's a strong performer that matches what she's given in Jenner (? who I mistook for Mr. Marcus at first view). The weakest scene was with Loretta Loren. I don't know whether it's because of low lighting but the camera had problems focusing on her face. I don't know if it's because the depth of field is so shallow when it focuses on the penetration.

Review brief: I gotta be short and to the point with this movie. I was bored. This movie achieved the dichotomy of being both too short and too long. That is there weren't enough scenes and the scenes themselves were too long to keep my attention. When I first watched the movie, I mistook Otto Bauer as the director directing the action Skeeter Kerkove style as in he's in the scene telling the girls what to do but it turns out he's just another character. Alicia Angel (a) & Sascha Roxy Jezel (a), Nikki Nievez (a), and Alex Sanders Kelly Wells (a), Otto Bauer, and Alec Knight The setting is very dark with an emphasis on how the light falls on the girls. You know artsy dark stuff without being gothic. I just found the scenes to drag but the sex wasn't that long when you time it; a lot of emphasis was on the tease. The latter two scenes go straight to the A once the blowjob is done. One thing I notice is that there are obvious transitions between the tracks.

Review brief: If you were thinking about getting this two year old movie for its cover girls, Teagan and Ariana Jolee, in all their glory. Think again because there should be a disclaimer and I'm surprised the other ADT reviewers haven't mentioned it. You'd think you were at a porn convention with Ariana and Teagan's nipples being taped up with Xs and the tape never comes off. Some people want to see the quarters and dimes on the girls! The other surprise of the scene is that there wasn't any anal for these two girls who are known for anal. Not that I missed it but I know other people would. As for general impressions of the movie itself, I thought it was pretty decent. You have the director getting his dick wet first pov style from blowjobs before starting the b/g/g scene. Review brief: Wow, I can't decide now. When I saw Baker's Dozen 5 last year, I figured that it was the best of the series. I mean how can you beat Alektra, Delilah, and Jeanie Marie getting glazed over the way they were? I had complained in Baker's Dozen 7 about having Hailey Young only as a side girl, and BD6 proves me right. This girl completely rocks. She is a little thin though and you can see pools of sweat and drool accumulated on her little body dimples when she takes on the Baker's Dozen. What I noticed first about this title is that it is not a John Strong Productions title but instead a general Platinum X title with John as director. The 2257 info and the pxp watermark confirm my suspicions as I had never seen the watermark in John's movies before. Maybe the title should've been Freshly Fucked Moles cause the first three girls have prominent moles on their face. My favourite scene was probably the b/b/g/a with Cindy Sterling. She and Stefano share some chemistry as they stare into each other's eyes. She has fucked up teeth but man she is adorable.
