Ass Appeal 4 Review

The Ass Appeal series is Van Styles's tribute to girls with nice asses. Quick disclosure: I got to watch the Velicity Von scene in person and wanted to check it out memorialised on dvd.

Van Styles is one of the best shooters of asses today joining Stagliano and Jules Jordan as one of the few directors to masterfully capture the butt tease. This ability is best exemplified by the tease in Luscious Lopez scene. Styles has her shaking her butt in a soapy jacuzzi which sends my mind off into a dream state before Jay Huntington even gets his hands on her. As an aside, Luscious looks like Persian Melody Sweet at certain angles in this video.

Another positive aspect of Van Styles's movies is that he carefully matches his performers up hoping for good chemistry and Velicity and Marcus prove to be an explosive combination. You can see Velicity's toes curl as she's being fucked and Marcus can not stop fucking her even while he moves her to different sexual positions or places in the room. It was incredible in person and it was no less incredible on video.

Okay, now here's the bad side. I don't know if it's the camera lens or editing/processing but it seems like the video in every scene was soft especially when you look at the performer's faces. The Georgia and Rose sisters scenes were introed coming into focus and I kept waiting for the video to get sharper even though it stopped at a certain point.

The Mia and Ava scene was an interesting exercise in comparison because Van Styles kept the two mostly side by side in the same positions. Mia is a little louder in the sack (squeakier) and seems to let herself go more but ultimately deciding which sister is the better performer is up to the viewer's preferences. The scene is also lit by daylight from the side so we had some shadows throughout the scene as one pair would block the other pair from the light.
