Barely Legal: Corrupted 6 Review

Two related things stand out about this movie. I think Van Styles is using a different camera than in previous movies I've watched because the exposure took me by surprise. The other is that while some people accuse Van Styles of emulating Jules Jordan, this movie is an homage to John Leslie. The only problem is that John Leslie's style of shooting drives me completely bonkers.

The comparison is thought of in the first scene as Van Styles shoots behind plants and other objects a la Leslie's Voyeur series. The other similarity is shooting into the light. Now I've never seen Van Styles do this intentionally before but he does rely on natural lighting to light the scene. However, I've been in the house that most of the scenes are shot and the light is everywhere with the many windows and tile flooring that bounces the rays around! With Van Styles camera, the daylight overexposes the scenes bleaching the performer's skin. In the first scene with Michelle and Kurt in the red kitchen, it feels like they're fucking in a spaceship. The only relief from overexposure is when the performers are fucking in typical positions that block the light... like against the couch.

But other than the lighting issues, this is a typical Van Styles movie where he gets good hard sex from the performers. The pairing of Mark Wood and Scott Lyons on Leah Luv made me laugh. Even though Scott is no longer as skinny as he used to be someone needs to put him in a scene with Sledge Hammer as a compare & contrast. Charlotte Stokely finish had Kurt trying to cum on a chocolate bar so that Charlotte would eat it. Except some of it hits Charlotte in the face anyway which made her audibly flinch. Extras feature more the Charlotte scene.
