| Prologue In his return to Hustler, Van Styles gets right back to his "corrupted" version of the Barely Legal series. Kind of like the relationship between The Dark Knight and the long running Batman comic franchise. More layered and better. | Epilogue Another strong effort by Van Styles that falls just short of excellence. There was a good build to the first two scenes that culminated in a hot spike with Leah Luv. Bailey faltered, as it looked like she bit off more than she could chew. The Charlotte Stokely scene would have been better placed there, with something wild and memorable needed to send us home. We didn't get that and it cuts the difference between "very good" and "must see". There was an attempt to mix things up a little and have less predictable intros into the scenes. That worked pretty well, and the two vignettes were fun and sexy. Van continues to work with strong backlight and his video is just on the edge of whiting out in the highlights. It's pretty well controlled and does wonders for softening skin tones. |
