Review brief: Both Ways is an excellent film from Jerry Douglas that uses the adult film medium to tell its story. Vinegar Syndrome has done an absolutely beautiful job with their DVD release of Both Ways with a beautiful image and great audio.

Review brief: Throat: 12 Years After is an excellent character-driven drama from director and writer Gerard Damiano. Throat: 12 Years After looks at the love lives of two couples and features an excellent cast and an enjoyable story. Ignore the implied connection to Damiano's earlier film Deep Throat and definitely watch this film it is worth it. Vinegar Syndrome has done an excellent job with their Blu-ray/DVD combination pack of Throat: 12 Years After with an absolutely beautiful picture and excellent audio quality.

Review brief: Vinegar Syndrome has, yet again, put out a beautiful release of classic adult films with this entry in their long-running Peekarama series. This entry features two very different films from prolific adult film director Shaun Costello. Afternoon Delights is one of the best of the vignette films that was ever made by the adult film industry and Slave of Pleasure, the third and final entry in the Dan McCord series, is a hokey detective tale. This release is worth picking up for Afternoon Delights alone. Vinegar Syndrome has done a beautiful job with the audio and video quality on this release.

Review brief: Never Sleep Alone is an absolutely excellent feature-style adult film to have come from director Kemal Horulu. The film boasts an excellent cast, a great story, some wonderful sex scenes, and to top it all off a great cinematic look. Never Sleep Alone is highly recommended for any fan of golden age adult cinema. Vinegar Syndrome has done a beautiful job with their DVD release of Never Sleep Alone with excellent video and audio quality.

Review brief: A Woman's Torment is an excellent horror/adult hybrid film from writer/director Roberta Findlay. Findlay does a great job of the complex balance of horror and sex within A Woman's Torment and Tara Chung is excellent in the lead role. Fans of the genre should not let this film pass them by and Vinegar Syndrome has done an excellent job with their Blu-ray/DVD combination package release of A Woman's Torment with absolutely beautiful audio and video quality.

Review brief: Vinegar Syndrome has done an absolutely stunning job with their DVD release of Roger Guermantes 1971 film Dark Dreams. Unfortunately, the film, itself, isn't that good. Dark Dreams is a horror/adult feature film hybrid which is a dream-based film. Even when the viewer reaches the end of the film, the plot makes little sense and the film is very erratically edited with some less than erotic sex scenes. Dark Dreams looks absolutely beautiful on this release, however, the film itself is impossible to recommend.

However, it is worth the wait as, by the end, The Crooked Arrangement is well worth watching. Viewers may be disappointed in the fact that the film only has two sex scenes through. Review brief: Hollywood Cowboy is a unique and interesting bisexual feature adult film from the early 1970s. What makes Hollywood Cowboy so interesting is the combination of heterosexual and homosexual sex scenes in the film. It isn't all that common to see both within an adult film. Hollywood Cowboy has a lot of issues with it, however, the film is a bunch of campy fun making the film well worth watching. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with their streaming only version of Hollywood Cowboy available on Exploitation.TV that has good video and audio quality.

Review brief: Intrusion is one of the most brutal and offsetting adult films ever made and the film is one of the best of the horror-adult hybrid films. The sex is unlikely to be erotic due to the psychological horror aspects of the film and the non-consensual nature of the sex scenes. However, the film is truly chilling due to the great cast and the good script and should be enjoyed by fans of the genre. Vinegar Syndrome has done an excellent job with their DVD release of Intrusion with an amazing image quality and excellent audio.

Review brief: This release from Vinegar Syndrome has two films from Duck Dumont from the same year on it. Fans of Dumont will obviously want to pick up this release fans of the genre may ultimately be disappointed by the films on the release. Vinegar Syndrome has done an outstanding job with the audio and video quality on their DVD release of Pleasure Maze and Lovers Lane.

Review brief: Whatever Mama Wants is a fun gay feature adult film that has enough plot to entertain a straight viewer as well as a gay viewer. This isn't to say that there aren't issues with the film but none of them are significant enough to ruin the film. Fans of the genre should give this one a chance, they will be pleasantly surprised. Vinegar Syndrome has done a good job with their streaming only release of Whatever Mama Wants on Exploitation.TV. There is a little bit of damage in the presentation but usually, the film looks beautiful!

Review brief: P is an absolutely bizarre adult film made by someone known only as Tom, who appears to have little to no filmmaking knowledge, who managed to make about every technical mistake possible. In addition, the film has some strange sex scenes and the most outrageous depiction of a woman cumming that has probably ever been put onto celluloid. It is impossible to recommend P to any viewer and viewers who choose to watch it will question themselves as to why afterward. Vinegar Syndrome has done a decent job with their streaming version of P available on Exploitation.TV. The print they used to master P has seen heavy wear over its life but is still watchable.

Review brief: The Midnight Hustler is an overall ugly film from an anonymous director. Sadly, The Midnight Hustler just serves as an example of how cheap and slimy adult films could be in the 1970s. The plot is essentially non-existent and many of the sets are plain lacking. The sex scenes aren't overly well-done. The Midnight Hustler is an easy film to skip. The quality of the film itself aside, Vinegar Syndrome has done a good job with their streaming only version of The Midnight Hustler on Exploitation.TV. Their print is beaten up and there are some issues that go back to the production but Vinegar Syndrome has made what they had to work with look good.

Review brief: Tongue is a great adult film that was also the first adult blacksploitation film to be released. The film tells an enjoyable story with some good sex scenes and features a great cast. Tongue is an adult film that shouldn't be missed. Vinegar Syndrome has done a good job with their streaming release of Tongue on the Exploitation.TV service. Their print has some damage but this is easily the best version of Tongue released for the home market so far. Hopefully, Vinegar Syndrome will release this film on DVD or Blu-ray in the near future so that more viewers can be exposed to it. Until then, this film is worth a one-month membership to Exploitation.TV alone.

Review brief: Winter Sports is an early hardcore feature, which is honestly a stretch to really call a feature, that manages to fail at every aspect of being a hardcore feature film. The plot is non-existent, the film itself is more a series of connected loops than attempting to tell a story. The hardcore material is scant in the film and horribly shot. The mood, feel, and settings for the film are poorly done. Basically, Winter Sports is a failure as a film. Vinegar Syndrome has done a nice job with their streaming release of Winter Sports on Exploitation.TV with a nice image and decent audio.

Review brief: LA Plays Itself is a gay half all sex and half vignette adult film from Fred Halsted. LA Plays Itself makes for an interesting watch. There is little dialog and the first of the two parts in the film appears to be without a story. The second part, however, does contain a story even though it still has little dialog. The story is told through the images presented to the viewer. What both pieces put together means in totality is left for the viewer to decide on their own. LA Plays Itself is definitely worth a watch. Vinegar Syndrome's VOD release on Exploitation.TV of LA Plays Itself is a little rough around the edges with a well-worn print but perfectly watchable.

If you haven't seen it, Taboo is a must see and if you already own one of the previous releases that have come out, this release is an easy upgrade. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with their release with a wealth of extras and beautiful image and audio quality.
