Review brief: Taboo 2, while not as good as Kirdy Stevens' original Taboo, is an enjoyable feature adult film. The cast does an amazing job with their sex scenes and do a great job with the non-sexual scenes. Taboo 3, on the other hand, is a massive let down with a poor story that does little to connect with the first two films and seems like just an attempt to cash in on the Taboo name. Most viewers likely won't have any interest seeing the film more than once. Taboo 2 makes this release worth picking up. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with this release. Taboo 2 has some issues with the video and audio but is still the best release of Taboo 2 on the market and Taboo 3 looks absolutely stunning.

Review brief: Vinegar Syndrome has done a nice job with their triple feature release with Cry for Cindy, Touch Me, and Act of Confession. Cry for Cindy is strong enough to warrant its own release and since they have included the softcore version of the film as well, this release is worth picking up alone just for that title. Touch Me isn't as strong a title nor is Act for Confession. However, since all three are Anthony Spinelli titles it is nice they have all been collected into one set.

Review brief: Bijou is a great adult film from Wakefield Poole. There isn't a story in the traditional sense of the term, however, Bijou is wonderfully constructed to create a great viewing experience where different viewers will walk away with different beliefs of what just happened. Despite being a gay adult film, viewers of all orientations should find something of value within the film. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with the release of Bijou.

Review brief: Boys in the Sand is a visual experience from Wakefield Poole that shows that for him, adult film making was more than just sex, he was trying to create a beautiful cinematic experience. And he succeeds. There are some slow spots in the film, but overall Poole has created a very good film that has become the landmark film in gay adult cinema. Vinegar Syndrome has done a very good job with this release with a decent transfer of the film and a wealth of extras.

Review brief: Vinegar Syndrome has put together a good pairing of films with their release of Bella and Robins Nest. Bella is the highlight of the set and is worth the purchase all by itself. Vinegar Syndrome has added a nice piece from Carter Stevens on Bella as well. The second film, Robins Nest, isn't as good as Bella is but one can think of it is a free extra since Bella is worth the price of admission alone. Vinegar Syndrome has done a beautiful job with this release both films sport beautiful transfers.

Review brief: Prisoner of Paradise isn't the most plot motivated adult feature film out there but it isn't a bad feature by any means. The plot is thin and the acting for some of the cast is sketchy but the sex scenes aren't bad. Prisoner of Paradise is nicely shot. Vinegar Syndrome has done a nice job with the transfer but has only included one extra on the release.

Review brief: Trashy Lady is a fun adult feature from the mid-80s that boasts a great cast, nice sex scenes, and a well done film. Vinegar Syndrome has done an amazing job with this release making Trashy Lady come alive on the screen. The transfer is beautiful, crisp, and just amazing. Vinegar Syndrome has put an excellent collection of extras on the release. For fans of the genre, this is a no brainer.

Review brief: Vinegar Syndrome's All Night at the Po-No is a collection of 12 quickly and cheaply made early 70s Los Angeles made adult films. A lot of what is presented here after one viewing you will never want to view again. There are a few others that will stand up to repeated viewings. Vinegar Syndrome wisely decided to make the cost not to expensive so it doesn't matter that a lot of the films presented here are duds. The few winners make up for it. The transfers aren't up to Vinegar Syndrome's usual standards but all the films are watchable. Vinegar Syndrome did miss the mark a little on the disc authoring and the extras included. If you like adult films from the transitional period from softcore to when hardcore films started getting actual budgets, you'll want to check this set out.

Review brief: Blue Ice is an incredibly fun adult film from the mid-80s. The film has a definite 80s vibe to it and while the story doesn't always make sense, the film never fails to entertain as the story unfolds. The cast does a great job with this one and the sex is enjoyable. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with this Blu-ray/DVD combo package.

Review brief: Long Jeanne Silver is an odd film which will definitely not appeal to all viewers. It is essentially a showcase for amputee Jeanne Silver masking itself as a documentary. If you aren't into Silver or sex involving her stumped leg that resembles a giant penis, then this film won't appeal at all to you. Vinegar Syndrome has done a good job with the release with a nice looking transfer and a commentary track from Silver.

Review brief: Dracula Sucks is an odd, high budget, and very fun adult film, which could have only come out of the 1970s adult film industry. The print isn't perfect, but is better than any release prior.

Tapestry of Passion, the eighth Johnny Wadd film, doesn't fit in well with the series, but is an amazing adult film from the 1970s and should not be missed. All Night Long is a comedy, which is okay but nowhere on the level of Tapestry of Passion. The presentation of both films by Vinegar Syndrome is amazing.

Review brief: Jungle Blue has been an almost impossible film to come across since its original release and probably should have stayed that way as the film is far better in concept than in application.
