Running Time: 105 min. Production Date: 07 / 2001 Director: Veronica Hart Cast: Ashlyn Gere, Selena Steele, Brooke Hunter, Dale DaBone, Steven St. Croix, Tom Byron, Rocco Siffredi, Buck Adams, Marc Dick-O-Death Wallice, Tom Chapman, T. T. Boy, Victoria Paris, Mark Davis, and Joey Silvera Initial Expectations: Ashlyn has been one of my favorite starlets for a heck of a long time, and this series has been very well done. Im going in here with high expectations. Initial Reaction: Its one of the best comps Ive ever seen! Who Should Watch It : Anybody whos a fan of Ashlyn or just curious about her Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants something on the nastier side of Ashlyn Audio /Video Quality: The audio varies a bit throughout the feature, but the interview comes across crystal clear. The movies themselves come across feeling as good as what they originally sounded to be, but since some of the features are from the early to mid-nineties, they dont always look as good as they might now. review from 10/17/2002:
Club Sin Directed by Antonio Passolini Overall Impression "The first rule of Club Sin is you don't talk about Club Sin", while I'm going to break that rule so you won't have to watch Club Sin. I had high hopes for this title, being a huge Gere fan as well as being impressed with some Antonio Passolini's other works. After watching Club Sin I am hard pressed to believe this is the same Antonio Passolini that directed "Cafe Flesh 2", "DMJ5", and "Flesh". As far as capturing the sexual action Passolini does a horrible job in my opinion. There are a few powerful performances in this one that are "dulled" by his poor camera work. This disc is a real shame, because Ashlyn Gere, Gwen Summers, and Chole deliver, but Passolini fails to make the most of their talents. Plot Club Sin is clearly, but loosely based on the popular movie "Fight Club". [read the full review]

The Pervert's
review from 1/15/2004:
John Leslie is currently known for his stylistic loops he directs for Evil Angel. However, his best work, arguably, are the thematic, sexually-charged features he directed for VCA during the late 80's and early 90's. The Tease was a movie I'd never heard of before. But, with a cast list of Selena Steele, Ashlyn Gere, and Lauren Hall, I knew I had to check this one out... The movie stars the beautiful yet enigmatic Lauren Hall, the x-rated version of Linda Carter (Wonder Woman), who lets writer Randy West stay in her house for a month to help put some of her sexual experiences to words. If he can withstand living with Hall for a month without becoming intimate, Hall promises it will be worth it to them both, the idea being "good things cum to those who wait..." However, West immediately falls under the spell of the seductive Hall and struggles to keep it together as he watches Hall and Selena Steele put on some nasty, naughty shows for him. review from 11/27/2003:
OK first off, let me say that I am a huge Ashlyn Gere fan. I've met her on a couple of occasions (OK, strip clubs), and she is extremely nice to her fans. That being said, this is a fine example of her work; she does NOT hold anything back. If you like Ashlyn Gere, or would like to see her talents showcased, then run (don't walk!) to the nearest website and plunk down your money. High Points in a nutshell: Lady Ashlyn Gere > Threesome, G/G and Interracial (see more details below) Other performers are ok, but not the main focus. Low Points in a nutshell: Image quality. It deserves to have been shot on 70MM surround sound ultra-high-definition archival grade stock, but was shot, in all likelihood on video. Also, her voice gets some kind of distortion effect @ the worst possible time. Details: I won't go too deeply into the plot or any lengthy critique of the acting, but take my word for it that there is a plot that can be easily followed. [read the full review]

review from 1/10/2015:
Plenty of trouble--and a heapin' helpin' of country carnality and backwoods boinking--follow, when the infamously randy, outlaw duo of Bonnie and Clyde find their way into Racquel Darrian's small, rustic town. Such is the case in the aptly titled production from Vivid and Paul Thomas, "Bonnie and Clyde". A very good release featuring some of the hottest stars of its day (...or of any day, for that matter...), this one is strong on plot, settings, and sex and is likely to please even the more sophisticated of feature fan. Rather delectable cinema featuring two legends and the film utilizes them well. We get Racquel and Ashlyn doing their best fucking both with others and with each other. When it comes to sheer beauty, no one beats Racquel. [read the full review]

review from 12/9/2001:
Bonnie & Clyde is a great couples film with a slim plot holding it together. I cant recommend it for fans of nasty sex or people who cant stand any plot in their adult films as there is enough of a plot here that it will interfere with their viewing. It would have been nice if the video had been of better quality and that instead of putting the useless standard Vivid special features that the two films had been presented in their entirety as there would have been plenty of space for them. Vivid has done an acceptable job with their DVD release of Bonnie & Clyde. [read the full review]

Initial Expectations: Andrew Blake has great artistic vision, so I expect the movie to be excellent. Unfortunately, Im not expecting Caballero to give it the treatment it deserves. Initial Reaction: As a compilation DVD, the feature itself is pretty good. Unfortunately, Caballero has given this DVD one of the worst treatments Ive ever seen. review from 6/18/2021:
The year is 1990, and in Beverly Hills, first-class beaver is Ashlyn Gere''s business...and business is booming. Of course, running a high-end escort service for the elite and the wealthy comes with certain unique risks and eventualities, a fact of which Ashlyn is keenly aware. So goes "Secrets", a beautifully captured and tastefully erotic--though still exceedingly hot--release from director Andrew Blake and Caballero. [read the full review]

review from 7/2/2001:
Well this was a recommended title I was put onto recently as I was looking for a good Zara White facial. This movie is a typical Andrew Blake style movie except there is more b/g sex than I have seen in the other films of his I have seen but I have only seen a handful so there that is but I quite enjoyed this one. It features the lovely Ashlyn Gere in a great role for her. She is riding around in a limo playing with herself in between the sex scenes. Rather than bore you with plot details which I don't really care about let's get to the sex. I will hit the points I really enjoyed in this film and there were many. It starts off with Zara being a voyeur while I believe it was 5 girls get in on with a guy in a room in another building. [read the full review]

Running Time: 88 min. Production Date: 1990 Director: Andrew Blake Cast: Ashlyn Gere, Zara Whites, Jeanna Fine, Kristen, Fallon, Danielle Rodgers, Samantha Strong, Sunny McKay, Nina Alexander, Krystina King, Sabre, Valerie Stone, Nicole Wild, Sheika, Jon Dough, Peter North, Randy West, Rocco Siffredi, Brian Cheeks Williams, and Jerry Ginz Initial Expectations: This is my first Andrew Blake film, but I havent heard a bad thing about his films. I have, however heard horrible things about Caballeros transfer. Initial Reaction: Wow. Now I know why there is always a tone of reverence whenever Andrew Blakes name is mentioned. The transfer definitely leaves a lot to be desired, but Ive seen a lot worse. Audio /Video Quality: The video is better than I expected, but the audio is much worse. The video is very soft and slightly grainy. I dont know why, but it worked for me. Maybe it added to some of the artistic feel. For some reason, I dont think a crystal clear picture would have been as good for Secrets. [read the full review]

review from 3/27/2022:
All isn''t as it seems at Ashlyn Gere''s spicy, underground sex party, as a shape-shifting "chameleon" (Deidre Holland) has infiltrated the scene. Preying upon the life-forces (and lusts) of the weak, she quickly attracts Gere''s attention and adoration... with potentially disastrous consequences. Of course, that''s all assuming that Deidre is the only predator of her kind... So goes "Chameleons: Not the Sequel" from VCA and director John Leslie. [read the full review]

review from 8/5/2001:
I used to have a VHS copy of John Leslie's Chameleon, in which Tori Welles seemed to have the ability to change shape at will - although there was a certain element of ambiguity about the events that no reviewer has seemed to pick up on. What exactly was real? The not-sequel from 1992 features Deidre Holland and Rocco Siffredi as a couple of vampiric shape-changers and Ashlyn Gere as an adventurous woman who is seduced and intrigued by them. The plot is less ambiguous this time around, although not exactly mainstream. I suppose the viewer is aided by the obvious loans from other movies, most obviously Tony Scott's The Hunger. Watching the movie I was struck by a realization of how much I had been missing real and intriguing plots in porn. Chameleons is by no means a perfect movie - I did not get the opening scene, which appears to be taken from an entirely different kind of movie. All it seems to do is to establish the bitchiness of the Ashlyn Gere character, and not very effectively. [read the full review]
Luftikus'
review from 8/11/2000:
'Chameleons' is one of John Leslie's later creations for VCA.. shot on film with a substantial (if not great) plot and (for the time) good production values. It centers on Rocco Siffredi and Deidre Holland as a couple of shape-changers who can turn into any person they like if they drain their sexual energy; and on Ashlyn Gere as a woman who gets involved with them.. They first meet at an orgy-style party where one can briefly see a young and hot Sunset Thomas riding on hubby Zach. Deidre stands in a corner looking bored while being touched by another woman. Meanwhile Ashlyn goes to the bathroom and is interrupted by Deidre who suddenly turns into Rocco, the 'real' Rocco still having fun at the party. A sex scene follows between the two and there's quite some energy between them, Rocco finally shooting on Ashlyn's chin and breasts. After the orgy, on their way home, Rocco is grumpy since his energy has been partially drained by Deidre during her transformation... Things get worse when Ashlyn turns up again at their home. Cast: Ashlyn Gere, Leena, Felicia, Sandi Beach, Alex Sanders, Marc Wallice, Tom Byron and Nick East. Director: Layne Parker Production date: 10/25/99 (box); 7/28/93 (feature) Length: 82 min. Extras: Eight biographies, ten previews and 33 bonus scenes. Audio/visual quality: The camerawork is sure and steady, with a nice mix of long, medium and close-up shots. A few shadows fall on the action, but they're not too bad. Audio is a bit hollow and spotty in places. As might be expected in the outdoor settings, there's a little noise from wind, airplanes, a police siren, etc. Some of the music is markedly better than typical porno tunes from the early 1990s. Several pieces have a pleasing "unplugged" quality, featuring acoustic guitar. [read the full review]

Sorority Sex Kittens - Part 1 is a good movie to purchase or rent if you like lighthearted plot-based films and films with a sorority/college theme. Since the story continues in the next disc in the series, I would recommend purchasing or renting this one with its sequel Sorority Sex Kittens - Part 2. If the story really matters to you, you also would probably want to rent or purchase Sorority Pink and Sorority Pink 2 since they hold the origins of the storyline. I would recommend those that don't like a plot to slow down their porn pass on this one. [read the full review]

review from 3/22/2004:
Clocking in at 2 hours and 16 minutes this feature is way too long. The story line, for a porno anyway, is way way way too complicated. It is a nice idea to be thorough but does anyone really care about the true history of the sorority, and the meaning of its Cajun roots and legacies? And what the hell is this time warp thing at the end with Jill Kelly's only dialogue in the film? But I do like the witty intelligence thrown in - especially the music references to Warren Zevon and "Lawyers, Guns, and Money" and Van Morrison's "Tupelo Honey" (those are a few topics I never thought I would encounter in erotic cinema reviews). Oh and the sex --- pretty good stuff - but too many blondes. The standouts are Gere, Ireland, Ashton, and Serenity though the bulk of the picture seems to belong to LaVeaux. Houston's hair was terrible but she gave a good fuck and I can't complain if Stacy Valentine is one of the blondes (though her makeup was terrible). The individual sex scenes are very good but of course the highlight is the huge virtually all girl orgy at the end. [read the full review]

The Plot: As you can tell from the title, this is part three of a series. I really wish I'd seen the first two. I might know a bit more where these people were coming from. I dropped this happy disk into my DVD player, expecting a fairly brainless ho-hum, low budget porn flick. I should have paid more attention. Two clues went right by me until I watched the opening credits. Clue number one: This is VCA putting out this DVD, so they have the talent. Clue number two: Executive producer is Antonio Passolini. Aha! As far as I can gather, the Upsilon Sigma Sorority has apparently been using voodoo rituals to kidnap fraternity guys to use them for breeding purposes. The girls stay young and fresh through depraved rituals, and use the guys for stud service whenever they feel the need or want children. I don't really see the problem, but I suppose the guys don't like being kept around and screwed silly every now and then. Whatever. Anyhow, our movie starts with the capture of the latest recruit for stud service. [read the full review]

This is not your typical erotic cinema. Ms. Gere really tries to flex her acting chops, which means as the better actresses go, she qualifies for soap opera work on the networks. It is almost mystifying as to how much drama is instilled over actual fuck scenes. Still, Ms. Gere is so stunning and so cock-hardening, she carries the film.
