Well with AVN pre-noms going on I decided to take advantage of a Labor Day sale and get a few titles that I think are going to be getting plenty of attention this year, and we kick things off with Strip from Dorcel. Now this is going to get lots of buzz since we have the return of Riley Reid in action, but we must not forget about Kenna James and Anna Claire Clouds, the lovely blonde duo that was also a major factor in why I wanted to give this one a shot. Kenna (sadly very little dialogue, as her dirty talk is beyond amazing) did the best with what she was given, and this just makes me look forward to checking out her Elegant Angel showcase next. And of course Anna and that great line, who offered up her booty hole to Christian who she has worked with a few times, and is also always some hot action, Charles will have to wait for his turn down the road. But that may have changed as I was given a DVD or two to actually watch and review. We are far from what I would consider the glory days of Dorcel, as we had a nice class of lovely ladies and some great movies, involving schools or maids. Sometimes the magical random gods land on a full movie for me to review, and this time we get another offering from Dorcel, including the lovely Lilly Bell, who has been popping up a lot in their movies, so we are happy about that. And speaking of Lilly, you would think the opening scene with her and Liz would be my choice for the spotlight scene, but I have to say her scene taking on Ricky and Alex, especially the second half, was absolutely fantastic, as she really showed off her sexual energy and chemistry with the guy. I do need to point out the editing of this one, as we kind of speed through the scenes, some were more noticeable than others. The scenes are beautiful but the action in most scenes is missing a degree of excitement. This would actually make a great couples movie for watching with a partner who might be a little iffy on porn, as its shot on film, has great urban scenery and everyone is attractive. The scenes are also not a drag, clocking in at about 20 minutes each. If you want your porn raw and carnal, this isn't your movie. Condom use in every single scene feels like a pathetic public service announcement about safe sex and really ruined this for me. Another thing I enjoy about diving into the AVN pile, I get to watch/review a few of the Marc Dorcel movies, and this was one of their bigger releases. And we got the added advantage of Megan Rain joining the lovely cast of Dorcel regulars. And I think that both Mina and Megan did a nice job of leading the cast in this movie. I do need to point out that I would have loved to see a longer cut of this movie, sadly with about 8 scenes and a run time around 1 hour and 50 minutes, we don't get to spend much time with any of the scenes. When it comes to the foreign stuff, I think Dorcel is pretty much at the top of the game. And it's always nice to see some of the top American ladies make a trip across the pond to show up in his movies. I would say that overall it was a good film, with a few instances of where I wanted a little more. You expect or hope something is going to happen, buy sadly it doesn't. But I will say that even though the opening scene with Megan was nominated, and it was a good scene, I would say the Nikita scene was the highlight of this one for me. I had the pleasure of meeting Lexi at Sexpo UK and was determined to check her out in some movies, and I think she's one you should be on the lookout as well. A nice mix of a great body (in a bikini for most of this movie), great attitude and some nice sexual energy. And when you combine Dani, also in a bikini in the final scene, it's pretty easy to see why it was my favorite. A few of the scenes seemed a little rushed, although most of the Dorcel stuff is quick and right to the point. And when the opportunity to check out a compilation movie, showcasing 15 of her scenes, I couldn't pass it up. We get a nice variety of scene in this 3 hour compilation, so no matter your tastes, there is a little something for you to enjoy. I would say that the standout scenes would be the ones where she's in sexy maid outfit, especially from the chambermaid movie. It seems she has still a few movies coming out every once, but not nearly as often, so this will be one that will be watched a few times. One little side note, it's all in French, so if that matters to you, might want to avoid it. But one look at this sexy lady, speaking in some sexy French, and that body that is built for some sexy stockings and garters, you won't mind the French speaking. The audio is dubbed for English, but normally works very well.
