Review:
A budding young singer, Victoria VoXX, moves to a small, middle-of-nowhere country town to hone her lyrical craft and finds not only inspiration... but herself. So goes Alive, an exceptional 2024 release from acclaimed director Ricky Greenwood and Dorcel. Featuring the true-to-life vocal talents of not only its star, Victoria, but also of her co-star, Queenie Sateen, this release brings its musical journey--and soundtrack--to the forefront of its plot... to superb effect. Indeed, there is clear talent on display here that transcends merely the sexual, and it is good to see that it has found a place to shine. Of course, with Greenwood at the helm, it's clear that the cinematographic elements and storyline of the flick are also going to be there (...and they are...), and the sex is going to deliver the goods (...which it does). The result? An excellent (and excellently executed) feature that brings both the fucky-fucky and the feels in equal measure.
In terms of the sex, the highlights include a scorcher of an all-girl sequence involving Victoria, Queenie, and Sophia Locke after an evening of tunes and getting acquainted. Working its way deep into the night, this one is both sensual and seductive. Also fire is the tour bus bang-out between super-dude country star/manager, Charles Dera, and his groupie entourage of Kendra Sunderland, August Skye, and Nicole Doshi...what a delectable bunch! With the ladies as into one another as they are Dera, this multi-ethnic fucking is smokin' from its sticky start to its shared-facial finish! Of course, the Isiah Maxwell and Valentina Nappi honeymoon pairing in their hotel room, Victoria's romp with friends from her past, Ariel Demure, Dillon Diaz, Cliff Jensen, and Roman Todd, and her finale with the troubled cowboy and once-and-future star himself, Chad Alva, are no slouches, either. All good stuff! In total, there's quite a lot to recommend this flick and nothing not to. Be sure to check it out. It's no doubt one of the best features of the awards season.
