Review brief: DIRECTOR: Mike John (2001). DURATION: ~140 minutes. STARRING: Angel, Gauge, Kimberly, Miko Lee, Monica Sweetheart, Sharon, Shyla & Victoria Style, with Erik Everhard & Mike John. A Perverted Point Of View 3 takes a simple idea and executes it impressively. In essence, each scene is filmed from the perspective of the sole male performer (Mike John in five scenes, Erik Everhard in the remaining three), which is intended to make the viewer feel more involved with the scene and to facilitate the fantasy of being in the action, rather than just watching it. I love the POV style and this production practises it expertly, with Mike John and Everhard showing themselves as considerable performers and cameramen (human tripod is the appropriate term). For me, the films only flaw was its lack of variety in the settings and format, but everything else was excellent and theres no complaining with the eight long scenes on offer here. Scene 1). First up, Mike John has his way with the incredible Monica Sweetheart.

Review brief: NOTHING TO HIDE 3 Justines Daughter * DIRECTOR: James Avalon. * DURATION: ~70mins. * STARRING: Claudia Chase, Dee, Gwen Summers, Melissa Hill, Marylin Star, Phyllisha Anne, Shelbee Myne & Wendi Knight. Nothing to Hide 3 & 4 is an epic double DVD feature from director James Avalon, starring the beautiful Gwen Summers. Justines Daughter is the introductory movie it doesnt make a tremendous amount of sense without Part 4 Club Purgatory; fortunately the two DVDs are sold together (the videos were sold separately). Note that apart from one line of dialogue, these movies are completely unrelated to Nothing to Hide 2 Justine. Where does one begin? Lets start with the case. Although it may seem trivial, the box is quite cool its thicker than normal and holds both DVDs (sadly the fastening clips are terrible) and has a gorgeous front cover of Gwen Summers, though the back cover is a little more abstract. You can see right away this is no ordinary porn movie.

Where The Boys Arent 13 is an all-girl flick from Vivid with a stellar cast. All-girl fans should be pleased by this title, conditional on their opinion of Vivid girls of course. Although most of the girls are deliciously hot in my books, they also share enough pounds of implants between them to qualify for a lightweight boxing match. Some implants are done better than others but for better or worse theyre unavoidable in every scene. The plot, such as it is, revolves around Jenteals bachelorette party. The acting and dialogue are hammy but the movie never takes its seriously (nor do the performers) and the storys a bit of fun fluff. It doesnt have the natural ease of Slumber Party 8 but the girls get along well and occasionally burst out laughing while delivering lines.

The keyword to Shanes Slumber Party 8 is fun. Lots of it. The seven girls go on a road trip/slumber party adventure and enjoy themselves and each other immensely along the way. As did I ... well I enjoyed watching at any rate. Shane has a candid, light and entertaining direction style and just films the girls doing what they want. Fortunately that includes a lot of entertaining moments, a lot of naked moments and a fair bit of sex to boot. Seeing the girls having fun and being themselves is definitely the strength of this movie; they also seem genuinely pleased to be with each other. Theres plenty of titillation, pranking and nude fooling around. In fact, the DVD itself jumps out of the box and squirts you with a Super Soaker then runs off giggling. OK I lie, but you get the point.

Intrigue & Pleasure is a modest feature from Private Black Label starring Michelle Wild and Britnee. Overall, its got exactly what youd expect from Private, packaged exactly how youd expect, which is possibly problematic. Intrigue & Pleasure is a decent sex flick by all accounts and Private does some things well, but it also does some things not so well and that rarely changes. I guess, more fairly, thats the studios style and Private undoubtedly deserves credit for delivering so consistently. Getting what you expect in porn is a rare treat. To begin with, the DVD extras are good as usual for Private. Reviewers expectations of extras vary greatly but Im quite happy with Privates trailers, filming reports and production notes. Also included are extra languages, subtitles and cast bios. Private films also have very good lengths and the A/V quality is good.

This is the 16th instalment of Peter Norths long-running North Pole series, and what an instalment it is! Although Ive seen only two of the 30 odd titles of the line, I can safely say Ive found my favourite North Pole. The final scene with gorgeous Lea de Mae, who graces the cover of North Pole 16, and Peter North contains some of the best minutes of porn ever made. Although I tend to think of double-sided DVDs as that little bit more fragile, I quite liked the extras on Side B. There were 34 high-quality trailers for other Digital Sin titles plus 10 interviews with various performers, followed by brief modelling and masturbation. There was also a photo gallery on Side A and, overall, I was very impressed with the extras and their presentation. Judging by others reviews, it might just be my copy, but I had some slight problems with the A/V quality of this DVD.

The Chameleon is a 1989 porn classic directed by John Leslie and starring the insatiable Tori Welles. I have it on loan from a friend considerably more versed in 80s pornography than myself, but was still quite interested to see it. Unlike other classics Ive reviewed, this one actually turned out OK and succeeded in stimulating body and brain with its eroticism. Definitely a good choice for couples if they can get past the funky hairstyles. Hairstyles aside, the women were natural-looking the only departure from that department being Toris breasts (which were still a sight to behold). The sex wasnt as hot as contemporary offerings but the eroticism was right up there, and there were merits for this film in not just being about inter-genital reciprocation. Tori really carries the day with her performances and voracious appetite.

Review brief: * DIRECTOR: Jim Powers. * DURATION: »85mins. * STARRING: Allysin Chaynes, Annabel Chong, Delia, Gwen Summers & Mazzy Page. Kelly the Coed has occupied the #1 spot on a few DVD retailers top 10 lists for a very long time. This teen-theme classic stars the perennial teen-queen Allysin Chaynes (less teeny these days with a big pair of plants) and one of my personal favourites, Gwen Summers, in addition to two less well-known cuties, Delia and Mazzy Page. Unfortunately, Annabel Chong worked her way into the movie too ... but these things happen. The teen theme works well with the four young girls and their nice natural bodies. The plot is pretty stupid it has some amusing moments but is entirely skippable. Ive disliked most of Jim Powers work but this movie seems more coherent than his others and the sex was OK. While great for Powers and decent by normal comparison, there could have been a lot more done with the cast (especially Gwen). Once you fast-forward past the long annoying ad at the start, there's a good range of extras.

Review brief: * DIRECTOR: Gloria Leonard. * DURATION: »65mins. * STARRING: Kym Wilde, Ona Zee & Racquel Darrian. Two Hearts is a very soft, couples-oriented flick from Vivid Wave, starring Ona Zee and a young Racquel Darrian. Its a fairly standard set-up with Ona and Racquel sharing the spotlight equally. The plot was typically corny and poorly acted, sub-par even for a Vivid film, but it was light and inoffensive and Im not going to be unnecessarily harsh in this review. One warning though I clocked this DVD in at a very lean 67 minutes and I believe the VHS version is closer to 86! The big 90s hairdos aside, the women in the cast were attractive with nice bodies ranging from Onas firm voluptuousness to Racquels lean lines, and Kym Wildes natural appeal somewhere in the middle. Another thing to note is that the sex is filmed for couples and is fairly light, with a lot of R-rated shots and some missing pops. I think that actually worked to the movies advantage given the market it's aimed at. The direction was decent and the A/V quality was surprisingly good for such an old feature.

With no cast list and great advertisements like These red hair babes slam it harder and Red hot that will make cum (sounds like a curry recipe), how can you doubt the title of this DVD? Anyhow, lets keep this review short and simple. This was a giveaway DVD, ostensibly containing hot scenes with hot redheads. Personally, Ive always had a thing for redheads but theres little in porn to satisfy this craving (Gwen Summers pretty much not that thats a bad thing). Ive reviewed some bad porn lately but this is a ridiculously tepid offering that stands out, even amongst the Vivid movies. Its come to my attention lately that Ive been giving some ridiculously low scores of late. All I can say is that these movies honestly deserve these scores and arent worth any money. The men and women in this movie were repellent, the sex was unpleasant to watch and there were absolutely no extras. Not even a time code.

An all-sex feature with minimal set-up, directed by, produced by and starring the Loadmaster, Peter North. First up, I feel I should announce that Tera Patrick does NOT have sex with Peter North and most certainly does NOT take a Peter North facial. End of review ... (just kidding). The direction and the sex were pretty good, competently-handled, although the scene set-ups were disappointing and could have been a lot better. Pete turns in good performances as well and there was a fair amount of heat in his scenes. The other scenes, particularly the girl/girl with Isabella and Nichole, and the final scene with Sophie and Tony, were lacking. Overall, a decent if inconsistent offering. Absolutely gorgeous Tera Patrick appears in an aqua bikini and straightaway gets it on with Eric Everhard by the pool. Tera is a half-English half-Thai goddess with natural huge boobs and a beautiful face.

Jekyll & Hyde is a Vivid feature classic starring Taylor Hayes, Julian and a lot of European women. Like many classics, this film falls completely flat on its face. Its difficult for me to express my disappointment, but Ill try anyway. Of the female cast, the only name I knew (and the only reason I bought this DVD) was Taylor Hayes. Still, it was Vivid so I should have known better should have known far better. Sigh. First up, the plot. Jekyll & Hyde has been lauded for its story. Personally, I found the story uninteresting, even off-putting, and it unquestionably interfered with the sex. Not only that, but there were virtually two stories going on at once, independent of each other. Taylor and Julian had a plotline that was semi-interesting while the European (Hungarian?) cast were totally involved in their own non-English drama. Clearly, a lot was put into production values and Taylor and Julians acting were good.

Bad Wives is a Vivid feature with an impressive cast, and is also considered a porn classic. Unfortunately, like most classics its not everything its cracked up to be. Disenchanted with their mundane lives, housewives Dyanna and Melissa try something different, but not everything goes to plan thanks to supermarket wild-child Steven St. Croix ... It seemed fairly run-of-the-mill to me more elaborate, well-filmed and well-acted than a normal porn film, but nothing spectacular. In particular, a number of non-sex parts dragged out and I thought the ending was a disappointment (but I wont spoil it). The sex itself was pretty good for Vivid, and there was quite a lot of it; the cast was good too. I thought Id point out andyblakes review, for his warning about the excessive cutting of the movie. I havent seen the VHS version so I cant comment on whats been lost from the original movie, but this might explain why I wasnt tremendously impressed. Something to be aware of at any rate. Overall, I found Bad Wives a fairly mundane feature.

OVERALL: I really wanted to like this movie it seems so hard to find a decent Celeste film (the sexy covers tend to be misleading). Sadly, the plot is barely enough to keep viewers awake and the sex is Vivid through and through; I shouldnt have expected anything else but I took a gamble. Might be remotely of interest to couples. If anyone has recommendations for a good Celeste film please e-mail me. FEMALE LOOKS: The women sport early 90s hairstyles but were quite good-looking, particularly Celeste (as always). The other brunettes were good too Anna in a sexy business suit, Nancy in a red leather get-up and Nikole in lingerie. Nina however brought things down a notch. MALE LOOKS: The usual mix a guy with annoying long hair (Marc Wallice), a pensioner (Joey Silvera), a guy who could be good-looking but just looks weird (Woody Long) and Steven St.

Celeste is my reigning All-Star Queen but didnt have many sex scenes in Borderline, though the movie itself was quite good. I was hoping Trouble Maker would be a better showcase for the busty brunette and was pleased. For some less complimentary words, jump to reviewers review. Celeste plays the trouble-making Shane, who comes between newlywed Asia & Eric Price in the name of manipulative fun. Shes found dead at the start of the movie, with the obsessive Tony Tedeschi reading letters he wrote to her as he watched her wreak havoc with others lives. The plot and acting (particularly Celestes) were pretty good, as one would hope to find in a Paul Thomas movie, the only letdowns in the production values being the clothing and music.
