NOTHING TO HIDE 3 – Justine’s Daughter

Nothing to Hide 3 & 4 is an epic double DVD feature from director James Avalon, starring the beautiful Gwen Summers. Justine’s Daughter is the introductory movie – it doesn’t make a tremendous amount of sense without Part 4 – Club Purgatory; fortunately the two DVDs are sold together (the videos were sold separately). Note that apart from one line of dialogue, these movies are completely unrelated to Nothing to Hide 2 – Justine.

Where does one begin? Let’s start with the case. Although it may seem trivial, the box is quite cool – it’s thicker than normal and holds both DVDs (sadly the fastening clips are terrible) and has a gorgeous front cover of Gwen Summers, though the back cover is a little more abstract. You can see right away this is no ordinary porn movie. Instead it’s an impressive twisted tale with a good amount of stylistic sex thrown in, not to mention Ms Summers using every opportunity to show off her stunning body.

Both movies have great direction, casts, scripts and acting. Gwen is perfect in the leading role as is Herschel Savage, who I never previously thought highly of. The supporting cast includes Melissa Hill, Julian and Mark Davis, and the music (kudos to Low Down Symphony’s motif), settings and production values are all top-notch. In addition, it looks like both movies were shot on film – while there are some minor technical issues, the A/V quality is very good for film and adds to the overall effect.

The story is very abstract in places and actually got me thinking. Given the slightly dark and kinky themes, I wouldn’t recommend it for couples looking for a vanilla-flavoured adult movie. I think it is perfect for couples into sexual fantasies and looking for a serious production. I had no problem watching the movies by myself but they aren’t ideal raincoater material. The sex is heavily stylised (occasionally to its detriment) and filmed through the soft ‘feature filter’; it is well-suited to couples. Condoms are also used in every scene except by real-life couples.

Extra materials comprise a German language track, audio commentary (with some minor balance issues), company info, 5 star bios, website promo, photo gallery, an extra 5:50min blowjob clip (Phyllisha Anne & Mark Davis), 10 trailers and an ~8min behind-the-scenes featurette. A good package overall and nicely presented but nothing really spectacular. Although I’ve had mixed success with Metro in the past, their extras are consistently good and would ideally set the standard.

Nothing to Hide 3 – Justine’s Daughter is a sexy, interesting and original movie with a great cast. It is shorter and lighter on plot than Club Purgatory but the sex is better. Perfect for anyone into darker adult movies. A definite keeper for me! Read reviewer’s review here.

SCENE 1 – Wendi Knight with Brandon Iron, Michael J. Cox & Pat Myne

In a medieval setting, cute brunette Wendi Knight (who always reminds me of Inari Vachs) stays her execution by treading her head for head. The stylistic editing and lack of scene sounds under the medieval music hurt the heat, but this is more than a pure fuck flick and some concessions must be made. Still, it seemed a little overdone. This scene was not as hot as I’d hoped and makes a questionable contribution to the overall movie.

We then see Gwen in the kitchen, rubbing cantaloupe seeds over her body as she fantasises/dreams. There is a superb but all-too-brief close-up on her, but fortunately there’s plenty more of that to come.

SCENE 2 – Gwen Summers & Marylin Star with Mark Davis

Gwen gets a thorough check-up from her doctor, Mark Davis (whose English accent makes him perfect for the role), which begins with a lot of passionate kissing. For those that don’t know her, Gwen is an adorable redheaded girl with a gorgeous body and small natural tits. They enthusiastically work each other over orally before being joined by blonde nurse Marylin Star, a cute girl with hefty implants.

For some reason, I also thought an internal pop would have been more fitting.

Wrapping up Nothing to Hide 3 is a hell of an erotic scene. Gwen is dressed in a glamorous outfit and gives Herschel (masquerading as her father) a killer blowjob. There’s heat, energy, chemistry, style, superb visuals and of course, a gorgeous girl.

Although the theme might not be particularly romantic, the visual presentation should be perfect for couples. A few different styles were used but the main slow style worked best. To end the long scene, Herschel cums in Gwen’s mouth and on her tongue. She swallows his cum and licks his cock, and I’ll be damned if that’s not the first romantic-looking facial I’ve ever seen.

We then learn that Herschel is not Gwen’s father but a client who paid her to pretend she was his daughter. The story continues in Nothing to Hide 4 – Club Purgatory.

NOTHING TO HIDE 4 – Club Purgatory

Club Purgatory is the conclusion to James Avalon’s Nothing to Hide 3 & 4. Though Club Purgatory is more rounded than Justine’s Daughter story-wise (and had a much better length), I thought the sex really held it back. Avalon’s style wasn’t applied nearly as well here as in part 3 and I didn’t find any of the scenes particularly outstanding. Had the sex been seamed with the story and style in this part, Nothing to Hide 3 & 4 would have scored a perfect .

On another note, the extras weren’t very different to those on the first disc. The photo gallery and some bios were different but apart from the good 19:30min behind-the-scenes for this part, the blowjob clip, trailers and other extras went unchanged. Metro have a good set of trailers and could have included 10 different trailers on this disc, and the blowjob could have been replaced by a bonus scene from part 4.

Again ultimately, this is one fantastic double DVD set and will definitely have me looking out for more of James Avalon’s and of course Gwen Summers’ work.

SCENE 1 – Gwen Summers with Julian

The start of this scene with its soft music and playful, good-looking couple feels like an X-rated Calvin Klein ad. Gwen and her well-hung boyfriend get friendlier in the pool, Gwen even taking a few sucks of his penis underwater. Their good looks should go down well for couples, but perhaps not as well as Gwen goes down on Julian with great eye contact and enthusiasm. There was a change in music, which I didn’t like much, and more scene sound would have helped.

Damn Julian, you might be a good-looking guy but you could trim back the under-arm bushes. They begin with some RC before going to doggy briefly, then he cums weakly around Gwen’s mouth. He gives some plumbing excuses in the behind-the-scenes but I thought the small cumshot might actually work better for couples.

At any rate, this scene looked great with two good-looking performers, but it lacked some chemistry and heat. I particularly disliked the music, which varied from Low Down’s slow theme.

SCENE 2 – Caroline Pierce & Flower with Herschel Savage

Herschel begins by licking plain brunette Caroline’s pussy as they are joined by the very cute Flower, and as Gwen masturbates while watching them through a window. This scene never really felt that hot (which sadly seems to be the case with most of Julian’s scenes).

SCENE 6 – Gwen Summers with Vince Vouyer, Inari Vachs with Michael J. Cox & Shelbee Myne with Pat Myne

Finally, this cluttered triple pairing concludes Nothing to Hide 3 & 4. Pat is fucking Shelbee while Inari blows J. Cox and Gwen is partnered with cocky Vince. The sex is still very stylistic and there are a lot of short snippets, so it’s not the closer a smaller, intimate scene would have achieved (preferably Gwen and Inari with one or two guys).
