North Pole 16 Review

This is the 16th instalment of Peter North’s long-running North Pole series, and what an instalment it is! Although I’ve seen only two of the 30 odd titles of the line, I can safely say I’ve found my favourite North Pole. The final scene with gorgeous Lea de Mae, who graces the cover of North Pole 16, and Peter North contains some of the best minutes of porn ever made.

Although I tend to think of double-sided DVDs as that little bit more fragile, I quite liked the extras on Side B. There were 34 high-quality trailers for other Digital Sin titles plus 10 interviews with various performers, followed by brief modelling and masturbation. There was also a photo gallery on Side A and, overall, I was very impressed with the extras and their presentation.

Judging by others’ reviews, it might just be my copy, but I had some slight problems with the A/V quality of this DVD. I’m not sure where the origin of this problem lies, but when the image moved quickly it pixellated a little – noticeably in comparison to the sharp clarity of the slower action. Secondly, more distressingly, there were some odd, dark bands that flashed briefly across the screen at the end of the final scene. I think that problem is just on my DVD as I haven’t seen it on any other copies.

After an amusingly weak set-up, Dominica arrives on Peter’s porch and the action begins. Pete looks a bit odd with his dyed black hair and shows some signs of aging, particularly with some skin problems and worryingly bulging veins. But I’ve always been a fan of his performances (well perhaps not in the Matt Ramsey days) and he proves he can still deliver the goods in this title. Dominica is an average brunette with nice natural tits but an unfortunate tattoo on her right shoulder. After licking her body and neck, Pete goes south pole and enthusiastically fingers and licks Dominica’s pussy. Dominica then blows him very briefly before he starts poling away. They screw in two positions before he inserts in her ass for some tight anal action in a variety of positions, which looked good. Finally in typical North fashion, he cums in her mouth, all over her chin and on her neck. reviewer, master of understatement, describes this “moderate facial” in his review. Dominica gives some PC head and the camera lingers for a while.

I would have been more than happy had Gauge been in a scene with the North-man but sadly it was not to be. As always, she looks particularly cute and young but with a bit too much eye-shadow here. A good scene with fair chemistry.

For some reason this scene doesn’t have a title but that’s not much of a loss. Joey climbs out of the pool to get it on with Aurora, a beautiful pale-skinned girl with a nice tan line.
