Review brief: After taking us out in the fresh air and sunshine in Manplay09, Number 10 takes us back into the confinement of the studio with its artificial light making it seem a regression and not an advancement over others in the series. The visible cameramen are seen again, too; and annoying flashbulbs pop from time to time. The guys though are hot, and thats what we look for in this unscripted continuous orgy. There are some young guys featured in this one, such as Brent Everett, a sensational young twink who appeared in Centaurs Navy Blues. Brentjust listed by his first name here as are all the othershas spiky hair, bee-stung lips, a compact bod, and a big dick. Nick Capra is along with his shaven crotch and long dick with its even longer foreskin, and Hans Ebson, another twink (who I am getting rather tired of) are here too. Review brief: After watching this film the first time I couldnt decipher my notes and so I had to watch it again. Lucky Me! Because this is the best of the Manplay series to date. Part of the reason for this is that it has moved outside of the somewhat claustrophobic confines of the studio and takes place around a swimming pool in lush, sunny surroundings. A series of large cubes covered in blue velvet (eat your heart out, David Lynch) have been placed around the pool and it is on these structures that the action takes place. There are a number of performers as usual.

Review brief: Considering the high caliber product of which Titan is capable, this latest effort is something of a disappointment. It is reminiscent of an earlier pre-condom film WINNERS in which paintings in a gallery come to life. The Directors Expanded Edition consists of the regular film and a bonus disc. Disc one, therefore, is the same in both sets. DISC ONE The film opens with The Artist in His Studio. The artist Gil Cortez and his model Trent Cougar are locked in a kiss. The blondish Trent and the lovely Latinate Gil are a perfect pairing. Gil is the first to go down, swallowing Trents dick to the root and sucking his balls. Eventually it is Trents turn. Ive not seen Gil in anything before (he might have appeared in one the ManPlay films) and hes one hell of a dude. He kneels on a chair for Trent to eat out his ass. After five or more minutes of this he moves as though to substitute his penis for his tongue, but they only change positions for Gil to sit on his face so he can continue the rim job. In this position, both beat off.

Review brief: Rapid Eye Movement (R.E.M.) occurs when we dream. This DVD provides us with four dreams that we could only wish were ours. The first to dream is Carlos Marquez (Hes the hunky tattooed dude on the cover.) Judging from what he is wearing, I would say he is a waiter arriving home after a hard shift. He fixes himself a drink, collapses onto the sofa and falls asleep. In the dream he is again waiting tables. But this time hes in the nude. He serves a rather snooty customernicely played by Dirk Lang. Dirk complains that his champagne is too cold. Carlos pours the champagne so that it trickles over his cock and into the glass. Then its time to serve Dirk the main course, which is Carlos himself. Wearing the type of bib one uses to eat lobster, Dirk eats out Carlos ass, sucks his dick, and fucks him. I knew from this scene that I was in for film that was loads of fun and very hot. Scene two begins with Patrick Knight arriving home from work. Review brief: This review is of the Directors Expanded Edition, however I am sure you would probably be quite satisfied with the regular edition as the so-called expanded edition contains precious little to justify an additional expenditure as you shall see in the review of Disc 2. Only Disc 1 is in the regular edition. It is the same version in both. DISC 1 The credits roll over scenes of action from the film. Something I am not sure is a good idea as it gives away any possible suspense about what will occur in the scenes themselves and the fun of guessing who will fuck whom. The first scene takes place at a cabin in the woods. Jon Galt, one of the Titan regularsa trim muscular bearis awaiting the return of his lover Ray Dragon, an even more muscular and hairy bear. They suck face for an inordinately long time. There is licking of armpits, chewing on tits, and then on down to the good stuff. Ray is the first to give head; then its Galts turn to reciprocate. There is much slobbering and spitting from the pair and pounding on one anothers chests with fists.

Review brief: GORGE is gorgeous! Director Bruce Cam, a true artist with the camera, has directed a truly spectacular film. Set in what I assume must be a section of the Grand Canyon and filled with manly hunks that are the hallmark of Titan studios, the rugged scenery and the rugged men are a perfect complement for each another. Vistas are filmed in the wide-screen format while sex scenes revert to a full screen. This causes us to be filled with awe at the grandeur of the canyon gorge and then feel as though we are drawn right in there with the sexual participants. It is also the perfect setting in which to create a sense of mystery and myth, and the film certainly has mythic overtones. It has the same aura as the opening segment of Kubricks 2001, except that here the apes are replaced with primitive men who make love not war and use those tools that a generous nature has given them. The film opens with Ray Dragon, a slender bear, surveying the scene from a high ledge. He falls asleep and appears to dream that he is magically transported down the canyons river where he meets Dred Scott.

Review brief: In my review of MANPLAY 04, I suggested that perhaps these were audition tapes for Titan. They may be, but in MANPLAY 05 we have one hot film! The format is the same: a group of guys are let loose in a space with two cameramen and seem to do as the spirit takes them. The men in 04 were not attractive. Those in 05 are to die for! It is divided into two sections Down in the Garage and Up in the Loft. Down in the Garage features something not typical of Titan: two twinks. But what twinks they are! The first of these, Xavier (aka Xavier Collins) has been seen in numerous videos but never before with real Titan men. Xavier is a voracious cocksucker and seems to be in seventh heaven playing with the big boys. The other twink is a skinny young guy who goes by the name Johnny or Johnny Doom as in Manplay 01. (I was imagining Johnny going into the ultra masculine Titan studio and saying, I want to be in your films. Then I imagine the laughing cease when Johnny drops his trousers.) The kid has a monster dick! Another driving force in this section is a rough but handsome hunk, Joe.

Review brief: With Titan we can expect real men and rough sex. The performers are not handsome per se, but they exude masculinity. These butch numbers suck dick as though they are trying to suction it off, and fuck as though they are driving rivets. MANPLAY 04 is nowhere near as good as the great Titan features. The guys here appear to be Titan's second or third string players; and this a sort of audition tape. Not only are these guys not handsome but, to my mind, not very desirable. All are daddy types with hairy chests, most have balding heads, and a few have gall bladder scars and other blemishes. In short, these are the kind of ordinary guys you might find making out in the backroom of your local gay bar not on the set of a porn film. Supporting the idea that this is some sort of audition is the fact that we are obviously on a stage set, and that the camera men are often seen moving in for their close-ups in what, I suppose, can be called cinema verite.

Review brief: SLAMMER is mostly sensational! The establishing shots of a prison exterior its cold gray walls topped with barbed wire create a terrifying and chilling atmosphere. Abandon all hope ye who enter here. The American flag, the picture of George Washington, the framed Bill of Rights on the wall in Warden Dred Scotts office are ironic mockeries here. Something he is quick to point out to new prisoner Billy Wild who is brought before him. After slapping the new inmate around a bit to illustrate the above, he orders the guard to strip the prisoner. Standing stark naked before the warden, Wild has a slim blond hairy body that nevertheless appears vulnerable. Scott orders him to his knees to suck cock. Scott slaps him and occasionally spits on his face as he does so. This aint romance, fellas, its rape. The guard Papi Moreno has his cock out, too. He and I are getting turned on.
