Manplay 10 Review

After taking us out in the fresh air and sunshine in Manplay09, Number 10 takes us back into the confinement of the studio with its artificial light making it seem a regression and not an advancement over others in the series. The visible cameramen are seen again, too; and annoying flashbulbs pop from time to time. The guys though are hot, and that’s what we look for in this unscripted continuous orgy. There are some young guys featured in this one, such as Brent Everett, a sensational young twink who appeared in Centaur’s Navy Blues. Brent—just listed by his first name here as are all the others—has spiky hair, bee-stung lips, a compact bod, and a big dick. Nick Capra is along with his shaven crotch and long dick with its even longer foreskin, and Hans Ebson, another twink (who I am getting rather tired of) are here too. A redhead and assorted hairy and daddy types make up the 11 man cast.

The first section entitle “BLUE” begins with Brent standing on a box as Carlo, a hairy daddy, sucks the youngster’s big dick. Chase, a redhead, is on his knees sucking Carlo. Next Brent is sucking Carlo as a fourth guys joins them offering his dick to Carlo. Chase goes back to sucking Carlo while Brent sucks Chase; then…but this is like trying to describe the rapid action of a hockey game. So let’s just say everyone finds a dick at some point. A little variety occurs when Brent eats out Chase’s ass and Carlo gets some loads of cum. Suddenly, another group that includes Bastian, a sweet twink with thick lips that must feel great on a cock, replaces this foursome. His suckable tits are like an adolescent girl’s. Bastian finds a nice cock to wrap his luscious lips around. Bald-crotch Nick is here too, pulling his foreskin like taffy. Nick finds an ass to eat and his long uncut cock attracts Bastian. Carlo rejoins the group and finds himself an edible ass. One of the guys gets fucked by Nick and Carlo. Nick then moves over to stick it to Bastian until he withdraws to cum on his back. And the scene goes on and on and on. The scene picks up again when Brent returns to get fucked. The redhead is the first to stick it to him and then he and Carlo switch back and forth, fucking Brent until he cums.

“RED” begins with the twinks Brent Everett and Hans Ebson kissing. Both, of course, are nude. Brent sinks to his knees and takes Han’s dick in his mouth. Two other guys enter and start making out. One is an intriguing Latino; the other is an attractive twenty-something. The Latino fucks his buddy immediately. When we return to Hans and Brent, Hans is eating Brent’s hairless butt crack. The moans of the two fuckers can be heard off-camera. Bret rolls over onto his back for Hans to fuck him. Even though I’ve paused for a day and even though Brent is my ideal boy toy, I’m becoming very weary of this film. The reason is that it’s just all too impersonal. It’s fuck by the numbers. Robotic sex. When the attractive redhead, Chase, enters the scene to join Brent and Hans, the scene picks up somewhat. Brent goes to sucking Chase; and Hans, who’s no longer fucking, goes down on Brent. After a long while they switch dicks. Chase sucks Brent and Hans sucks Chase. A fourth guy now enters, who appears to be a clone of Hans. Chase jumps on the newcomers cock and Hans goes back to Brent’s. Brent and Chase exchange saliva as Hans’ clone sucks their dicks. When Brent leans over to suck Chase, Hans’ tongue finds its way back into Brent’s ass. The newcomer takes over this task and proves himself to be a consummated rimmer. Brent’s ass is inspiring however. Chase fucks Hans and his clone moves over to Brent’s cock. If my review is tiresome (and it is) it’s because the film is so. Brent will eventually fuck the Han’s clone to show his versatility. (In a magazine he classed himself as a “versatile top”, but in this film he’s been a veritable “versatile bottom”.)

Manplay 09 was much better by taking the action out into the open air. The close confines of the studio simply points out this series’ major weakness: a total lack of cohesion or continuity. Sharp editing might remedy some of this, but I think the problem would still be there in the basic concept (or lack thereof). These are great films for a bar or for a party where people only glance at the screen from time to time. But for sustained private viewing it’s just too monotonous. As Yogi Berra said, “It’s déjà vu all over again.”

My DVD was badly pressed. It wouldn’t play on one machine. When I got it to play on the other the intro up to the main menu was fragmented. Once I could see “Play” the film itself was okay. But I wasn’t able to use the entry points. And in a film of this type, that really sucks!

Fans of Brent Everett (and I’m becoming one) will want to pick this up. But it’s a major letdown after the superlative Manplay 09.
