After watching this film the first time I couldn’t decipher my notes and so I had to watch it again. Lucky Me! Because this is the best of the Manplay series to date. Part of the reason for this is that it has moved outside of the somewhat claustrophobic confines of the studio and takes place around a swimming pool in lush, sunny surroundings. A series of large cubes covered in blue velvet (eat your heart out, David Lynch) have been placed around the pool and it is on these structures that the action takes place. There are a number of performers as usual. The most upstanding—uh, outstanding—of whom are: Michael, a hirsute stud with a beginning beard and a pierced nipple; Ethan, another hairy guy with a goatee; Reece, a young guy just this side of twinkdom who has a pierced nipple and tongue and a very, very big dick; Ian, a handsome young man with curly hair, a lightly haired chest, and who also sports a goatee; Matt H who resembles Ed Harris and has a guiche piercing the skin under his balls; Jake, a cute young man with a shaved butt hole who also sports a goatee (is this the latest badge of gaydom?); and some other watchable guys who join in the fun.

The first up are Michael and Ethan who break in their cube with some mutual sucking before Ethan reveals himself as an aggressive bottom.

So, it’s back to Reece of the big dick and Matt H, the Ed Harris look-alike. Matt does an incredible job of deep-throating Reece’s piece. Awesome! Reece also sucks cock and they segue into a nice sixty-nine.

(2) We move on to the next scene before anyone in the scene we have been watching has cum because they don’t cum. There are actually more cum shots in one scene of a Bjorn film that in this entire two-hour opus.

BUT—the guys are good to look at and the sex—such as it is—is great! Even with all of its flaws—and there are many—this is the best of the Manplay series to date. It’s a prefect one to start with if you don’t know the series, and an absolute must for the fans. This film will make you want to dig a pool, build some cubes, and invite all of these guys over for a weekend. Barring that, we’ll just have to be content with the DVD.
