ManPlay 5 Review

In my review of MANPLAY 04, I suggested that perhaps these were audition tapes for Titan. They may be, but in MANPLAY 05 we have one hot film! The format is the same: a group of guys are let loose in a space with two cameramen and seem to do as the spirit takes them. The men in 04 were not attractive. Those in 05 are to die for! It is divided into two sections “Down in the Garage” and “Up in the Loft”.

“Down in the Garage” features something not typical of Titan: two twinks. But what twinks they are! The first of these, Xavier (aka Xavier Collins) has been seen in numerous videos but never before with real Titan men. Xavier is a voracious cocksucker and seems to be in seventh heaven playing with the big boys. The other twink is a skinny young guy who goes by the name “Johnny” or Johnny Doom as in Manplay 01. (I was imagining Johnny going into the ultra masculine Titan studio and saying, “I want to be in your films.” Then I imagine the laughing cease when Johnny drops his trousers.) The kid has a monster dick! Another driving force in this section is a rough but handsome hunk, Joe. Joe has long raven hair, pierced nipples and navel, a pierced septum, and a pierced cock. There is the tattoo of a death’s head on his back right shoulder and the words “sex addict” tattooed across his kidneys. He is a real sex pig—sucking, fucking, or getting fucked is all the same to him. The man is an animal. I love him! Completing the group are Adam Blake, an All-American type who was also in Manplay 02; Antonio Vega (also in Manplay 03) a muscular Latin with a great uncut cock and a maple leaf tattooed on his back (Blame Canada.); and Nicholas, a slender young bald guy with a beautifully haired bod and a nice dick. The most amazing part of this section is when Xavier is riding Johnny’s maypole and the other guys file by to double-fuck him. (When Antonio’s fat cock slides in beside Johnny’s monster, Xavier exclaims, “Oh Jesus!” Then he smiles and just sits down harder.) This section of the DVD has multiple angles so you can’t complain that the camera is never where you want it. It’s one of the few DVDs where I’ve really appreciated this feature. This entire scene was a real scorcher that never let up for one second. I wouldn’t have been surprised if my DVD player had started smoking.

I would have been ecstatic if this film had only contained the one scene, but it’s on up to the loft.

The second scene opens with three guys seated on a sofa with stiff ones. The camera pans over to see Xavier (hooray!) tearing open a condom with his teeth. He then proceeds to suck each of the three dicks and then sits on each in turn—like Goldilocks trying out the three bear’s chairs. Xavier then disappears for a time and—as in the garage section—a full-scale orgy ensues. Johnny is back with his dick of death (he now has some facial hair but I'm afraid his dick gives him away). Adam is back, too. The other participants are Josh, Joeboy, Leo, Sam and Michael. All have good endowments and all are sexual animals. Xavier returns near the end of the scene for one more ride on Johnny’s cock which has been used on practically everyone earlier. This scene does not have the excitement of the garage scene, but it is still one hot number. It does not have the multiple angle choices either.

The DVD ends with previews of Manplay 01-03 (not 04 which is the weakest of the lot). However, if you want to see what this series is like, Manplay 05 is definitely the one to go for. Also included at the end of the film are some backstage bits from the garage scene, and we get the guys showering together at its conclusion--which is the only time we see these guys' cocks in a flaccid state. (Johnny's still hangs almost to his knees.) As they are dressing and leaving, Nicholas starts coming on to Xavier. "Why does everyone want to fuck me?" he asks. It is a foolish question.

The main drawback is that there are only four chapter entry points (two for each scene). Of course you can search forward and back once inside, but this is annoying. Nevertheless, this film has somewhat altered my opinion about orgies. As Tony the Tiger says, “They’re Grr-reat!” At least this one is.
