review from 4/26/2016:
Hope (Brooklyn Lee) is desperate to find her birth parents. Almost broke, homeless and alone, the seedy underbelly of the city offers up a solution that Hope never thought she'd take. Filmed on the streets of San Francisco, the home of the original Behind the Green Door, master director Paul Thomas' sequel explores the dark side of human nature thru the iconic character that Marilyn Chambers etched indelibly into our collective erotic imaginations 40 years ago. review from 8/1/2014:
The New Behind the Green Door is not a remake nor re-imagining of Behind the Green Door. Instead it serves as a sequel to the original film, but seems to ignore the sequel for obvious plot reasons. While the movie is not perfect, Paul Thomas has done a good job creating this sequel that stands as a good movie on its own. [read the full review]

review from 12/31/2013:
Paul Thomas and Vivid recreate an American Classic, the original Behind the Green Door with the legendary Marilyn Chambers. That’s some mighty big shoes to fill but Paul is up to the task with Brooklyn Lee given the reigns of the starring role. This one also features appearances from Penny Pax, Ash Hollywood, Chanel Preston, Brandy Aniston and Bailey Blue, so the female talent is well represented! [read the full review]

review from 4/24/2016:
Adult's greatest title, re-imagined through the eyes of adult's most awarded director, Paul Thomas, and starring Savanna Samson and Belladonna! Featuring six classic anal scenes as scorching as the fires of hell, surrounded by a cautionary tale as old as Satan himself: Young Miss Jones, an aspiring journalist... oblivious to the human carnage she leaves in her wake. Pandora, enjoying the high life in Hollywood. Both have no idea they're being groomed by the devil to spawn the next generation of demons and every one of their shuddering orgasms brings them closer to their hellish fate! [read the full review]

This is a very dark, artistic, and impressive feature. BellaDonna does an amazing job in the lead role, both acting and fucking, and the rest of the cast is just as good in their roles. The technical aspects show great care, and there's some nice effort put into the extras. This is an excellent release that's well worth checking out. [read the full review]

review from 5/12/2010:
"The Devil in Miss Jones: The Resurrection" is one of the best adult films that I have ever come across and certainly the best of the eighty or so that I have reviewed for ADT. An instant classic from Paul Thomas and Vivid, this movie focuses on Belladonna as a reporter whose overzealous ambition to get the "big story" ends up pushing her into eternal damnation. In the interest of not giving too much away, let's just say that it is dark, riveting, interesting, and sexually deviant--from the beginning to the end. Featuring the type of twisted content that isn't usually present in Vivid's releases, this disc is absolutely not to be missed. [read the full review]

review from 3/1/2009:
For those of you who have been hiding under a rock for the last month or so, Faithless stars Kelli McCarty, a former Miss USA and day time soaps star of “Passions”. Now, other celebrities have been embarrassed by leaked home made movies (Paris Hilton and Chyna) and there have been porn stars who have managed to become at least semi-respectable in main stream media (Jenna Jameson and Stormy Daniels). What we have is something unique, Kelli McCarty, on her own free will, expressing herself sexually for the camera, career and critics be damned. [read the full review]

Synopsis A sort-of porn round table symposium. Porn actors gathered 'round a big dining table discussing weighty matters such as: " Do you watch your' own movies ?" and the existential " Guys which do you prefer, anal or vaginal sex ?". Don't panic, relax, there's sex scenes here too. In addition to the various b/g pairings, each femme (besides Monique)has her own solo masturbation ( and interview) scene too. Scene 1 Monique Alexander with Derrick Pierce. Mutual oral, standing doggy, cowgirl, missionary. Derrick coats her chest and belly with copious amounts of come. Scene 2 Amber Ashley, Alicia Angel, and Jack Lawrence. Tag team oral on Jack. Amber gets fucked in cowgirl and standing cowgirl, with Alicia giving p2m's. With the girls side-by-side, Jack gives each some missionary dicking, moving from one to the other. Girls now flipped over, Jack does the same to them in doggy. Alicia gets some mish vag & then mish anal ( a2m, Amber) before Jack busts his nut onto Alicia's chest and Amber's face. Scene 3 T.J. [read the full review]

review from 1/13/2008:
With the exception of Artemisia and Marissa, this is my favorite Paul Thomas movie yet. It doesn't come close to the brilliance of the Fashionistas but it's still a worth while effort. The film is stylish and parts of it are well written. However, I felt it borrowed too heavily on a mainstream fashion film, Robert Altman's Prêt-à-Porter. The Southern belle TV reporter who interviews the major characters in the film, the criminal husband stealing a guest's luggage from the hotel, the French-Canadian assistant sneaking into a room to retrieve compromising photos and ending up in a closet with the husband. These are each clear plot points taken from Prêt-à-Porter. The most blatant use of the Prêt-à-Porter storyline, however, involves two characters portrayed by Faith & Marcos Leon. They play strangers, both married, who are accidentally assigned the same room at the hotel. After realizing the mix up, there's a mad dash to see who can get to the room first. Later, they hook up. review from 5/27/2017:
The plot thickens for the stunningly gorgeous actress, Racquel Darrian, and her sugar-daddy hubby, Buck Adams, as the film that the latter is financing for the former finds the two driven further and further apart. Of course, Adams' building jealousy and the tantalizing, extramarital temptations that they both face don't help much, either. Such is the case in "Bonnie & Clyde 4: The Revenge of Bonnie and Clyde", the overall-good conclusion to Paul Thomas' and Vivid's series of the mid-1990's. [read the full review]

Title: Cheating Released by: Vivid Wave If you were to ask an adult film director to come up with a movie called "Cheating", he or she would probably line up a few VERY fresh faces (as in 18-21) and come up with a movie about a couple of college girls who screw to get the answers to their finals. After all, thats what people think cheating is all about nowadays. Thats what the subject of all of these mainstream movies are about. They all have to do with school and tests. Fortunately this particular movie was done in 1994. Back then, cheating had nothing to do with school or exams, and EVERYTHING to do with extramarital affairs. And the key players in this movie certainly didnt look like they just came out of high school! The key question to ask about this movie isnt whos fooling around. The real question is who ISNT fooling around on their significant other and with WHOM. No doubt by the end of the movie the answer will surprise you. The movie focuses around a group of friends preparing for a surprise birthday party. [read the full review]

review from 2/12/2006:
"Bobby Sox" is a type of porn film that goes under the category: One of Paul Thomas' worth watching films. I say that since P.T. is one of the most hit-and-miss directors in the business. But when he's good, man is he good. This movie, along with the original "Masseuse" will go down in my head as masterpieces. Sadly, however, this movie has been hacked to pieces by any current VHS or DVD versions of the movie (especially the VHS, but the DVD has some of the choppiest editing I've ever seen). * DIRECTOR: Paul Thomas. * DURATION: »90mins. * STARRING: Asia Carrera, Christa Rain, Christy Canyon, Dallas, Jenteal & Shelby Stevens. OVERALL: A fun movie for Christy Canyons 90s comeback. The story is light but entertaining though, as always, Vivid sex leaves a fair bit to be desired particularly as Christy doesnt seem too enthusiastic with men. A decent film overall with some funny moments and some erotic moments, especially in the scene with Christy and Jenteal. FEMALE LOOKS: I got started in porn after Christy retired, so I dont know how she looked at her peak. Here her face is a little gaunt but she is still attractive with a natural appeal, though the famous massive (natural) breasts are starting to sag. The girls in the first three scenes Christa, Dallas and Shelby are average, and Ive never thought highly of Asias looks. Jenteal however looks gorgeous and suitably innocent for her first girl-girl scene. MALE LOOKS: About average with Ian Daniels, Michael J. Cox, Steve St. Croix, Tony Tedeschi and TT Boy. The Plot: Okay, I have to hand it to Vivid. Rarely, if ever, do they produce a movie that doesn't have a plot. Or at least a semblance of a plot. Okay, maybe a hint of a plot. True, the plot's don't always make sense, but you at least get some motivation behind why Actress A is working her way through Actors B, C, D and the sheep in the corner. Our plot today revolves around a fictitious show similar to Late Night with Old Comedian that you may watch yourself. We start with Steven St. Croix, playing himself, having a lot of fun with Alexa, a waitress he picked up in a bar. After having very intimate relations, Stevie discovers that the new-age bit of fluff that he brought home last night has been talking to her crystals too long. See, she and Steven have only just met last night... in this life. Ah, their souls are immortal and they have been meant for each other since time began. And if Steven doesn't like that arrangement, she'll just have to kill him and wait until the next time they meet up again. Okay. [read the full review]

Bad Wives is an excellent feature film from director Paul Thomas that is one of the modern classics. However, Vivid has done a horrible job with their DVD release of Bad Wives by using what they are calling the director's cut of the film that has excised more of the film then is included on the disc. The result is an absolute hack job that barely even resembles the original film. Vivid promised a Collector's Edition release of the movie with the uncut movie on it over a decade ago that never materialized. Sadly, this reviewer can't recommend this hack job of a modern classic. Unfortunately I did not read andyblake's review before purchasing. I had rented the VHS video and it was fantastic 4.5 stars with outstanding scenes from Tricia Devereaux(love the glasses) and Missy. So I had purchased the DVD for a permanent copy expecting better picture and sound. What VIVID did to the DVD is just wrong. To get their multiangle shots they just cut up the scene. None of the angles are the original full scene. Let me keep this simple. DO NOT BUY THE DVD. By all means get the VHS copy, it was great. Message to VIVID You have permanently lost a customer. I will never purchase/rent a VIVID DVD in the future. Multiangle must have the original scene intact on angle 1, other angles can be used if additional footage is available. [read the full review]

* DIRECTOR: Paul Thomas. * DURATION: See below. * STARRING: Dyanna Lauren, Melissa Hill, Missy, Stephanie Swift & Tricia Devereaux. Bad Wives is a Vivid feature with an impressive cast, and is also considered a porn classic. Unfortunately, like most classics its not everything its cracked up to be. Disenchanted with their mundane lives, housewives Dyanna and Melissa try something different, but not everything goes to plan thanks to supermarket wild-child Steven St. Croix ... It seemed fairly run-of-the-mill to me more elaborate, well-filmed and well-acted than a normal porn film, but nothing spectacular. In particular, a number of non-sex parts dragged out and I thought the ending was a disappointment (but I wont spoil it). The sex itself was pretty good for Vivid, and there was quite a lot of it; the cast was good too. I thought Id point out andyblakes review, for his warning about the excessive cutting of the movie. I havent seen the VHS version so I cant comment on whats been lost from the original movie, but this might explain why I wasnt tremendously impressed. Something to be aware of at any rate. Overall, I found Bad Wives a fairly mundane feature. [read the full review]

Running Time: 73 min. Production Date: 1993 Director: Paul Thomas Cast: Lene' Hefner, Lacy Rose, Sierra, Brittany O'Connell, Mark Davis, Jon Dough, Nick East, Steven St. Croix Extras: The typical Vivid Wave extras. Previews, bios, 'interactive' sex, and AVN highlights. It's the same extras as the other Wave DVDs. Audio Quality: Average. There are a couple of spots that seem like they may have been dubbed, but it's not overly noticeable. There are also a few places where the sound seems to lose its depth, which probably added to my feeling of parts being dubbed. Video Quality: The picture shows a lot of grain, but I think that comes more from the original than the transfer. Music: The music comes and goes throughout the movie, but since it seems to be on purpose, it isn't too bad. When the music does stop, it seems to be the end of the song and you have some of the sounds of the people. Initial Expectations: Paul Thomas normally does a pretty good porno without much plot but with some average to better than average sex. [read the full review]

This is not your typical erotic cinema. Ms. Gere really tries to flex her acting chops, which means as the better actresses go, she qualifies for soap opera work on the networks. It is almost mystifying as to how much drama is instilled over actual fuck scenes. Still, Ms. Gere is so stunning and so cock-hardening, she carries the film.
