Borderline (Vivid) Review

Review:
Stranded in a mysterious, erotically-charged Mexican town after their car breaks down, two cheating lovers (Celeste and Steven St. Croix) find themselves growing further and further apart, despite the atmosphere of seduction and sexual delight that surrounds them. Whether they'll stay together, be driven apart and head back to their respective spouses, or something altogether different remain the questions of the day. Such is the case in "Borderline", an exceptional, 1995 release from Vivid and director Paul Thomas. Featuring a strong and spicy storyline, complete with realistic sets and characters as well as a bevy of porn beauties from the mid-90's, this film delivers the goods across the boards. Indeed, the tone is one of sensuality and exotic encounter, and its various pieces fall into place nearly seamlessly, creating a whole that's greater than the sum of its parts. Heading things up is the impeccably stunning Celeste, a slender, big-busted babe from the upper Midwest who was all the rage back in the day, gracing both box-cover and magazine alike. Here, she's in top form, both physically and in terms of her acting, where she shows her chops with distinction. Simply put, she's on fire. On the male side, a young Steven St. Croix leads the way. Ever the trusty cock-slinger and thespian, he lands his role (...and his dick, as the case may be...) with deftness, as well. Altogether, it's a bit surprising that this flick doesn't have more reviews out there on the net. In some ways, it seems to have slipped through the cracks...which is a shame, because it is definitely one of the better features of its decade--a decade that was light on good, plot-driven porn to begin with. As such, fans of features, 90's adult fare, the seductively sexy Celeste, exotic porn and/or Paul Thomas' directorial work are going to want to check this one out. It's worthy and then some. Hands down and dicks up, it's a winner!

In terms of the sex, the film opens up with Steven St. Croix sticking it to the former GLOW girl and (later) reality TV star, Tiffany Million (his onscreen wife), vaginally and anally in a sweaty, realistic romp upon a bed. This intense fucking finishes off with a load on Million's mellons and tummy (Scene One). In Scene Two, Steven St. Croix and the stunning, big-busted Minnesota native, Celeste, partake in a romantic tryst at a secluded Mexican hotel after their car breaks down upon the roadside. Despite interruptions by the ready and randy maid (Dorian Grant), the pair manages to seal the deal orally and vaginally. Steven ejaculates on her tummy and tits after a handful of sexy positions. Scene Three finds the hotel's maid, Dorian Grant, offering herself up to Celeste later on in the day, when Steven's not around. Eager for beaver, Celeste takes her up on her offer right there on the stairs of the establishment, not even wasting time to get a room (...even though she actually has one). A steamy, fingers-and-tongues lezzing ensues. In Scene Four, a police officer in the town, Bridgette Monroe, has oral sex with Gino Grant in the doorway of a building...all while Steven and Celeste pass by (and watch a bit). Scene Five finds the slender, big-chested brunette, Madelyn Night, peaking into a barn in town whilst an orgy proceeds. Of course, she masturbates. Inside, Celeste follows suit (with a vibrator), as she watches the goings-on, which include Mark Davis and Tony Montana fucking Tabitha in a sex swing, and Alabama and Guy DiSilva getting it on (oral, vaginal, anal ; facial). Eventually, Night makes her way in, and she and Celeste pleasure one another briefly but sensually. Tabitha's sequence includes oral and vaginal action in the swing, with Tony popping on / around her pussy and reinserting, and Mark delivering a facial. The group gathers around Night and Celeste at the end. Hot stuff...well choreographed. In Scene Six, Celeste briefly blows Steven, as the two take a ride in the back of a muel-drawn cart. In Scene Seven, Steven joins Alica Rio and Tabitha in an empty barn, after both Celeste signals her desire to see him with them and also their dark-clad host gives him a free pass. They both suck his dick, and he pounds out Tabitha to a quick facial out of doggy. Scene Eight features a massive fiesta out on the street at night that devolves into a town orgy. Missy, Nici Sterling, and Mark Davis get it on, as do Tabitha and Guy DiSilva. Celeste and Felecia (as a matador) statisfy one another's needs, as well, while Jilly Kelly also mildly participates. It's difficult to fully capture every drop that is this flood of fornicating flesh, but needless to say, it's all hot. Highlights include Celeste taking a load on her tits, Tabitha taking one on her face and in her mouth, and Sterling doing anal and getting a facial. Very nice. Check this one out.
