review from 6/24/2021:
Rule #1 at the Burton Allen Institute is "No bras and no panties" and boy do the lovely ladies who make up its student body take it seriously in "Car Wash Angels". A very good, 1996 release from director Jim Holliday and VCA, this flick features a massive cast that''s a veritable who''s who in the industry of its era...all partaking in the Carwash Management program of the school''s hokey curriculum. Full of multiple short sex scenes and some longer ones (including an all-girl orgy), this production falls into line with other such offerings from the director during the time-frame. Indeed, Holliday was a master of the big-cast, super-cheesy, bimbo-driven blowout in the mid-90''s, and on this premise, this one certainly does not disappoint. [read the full review]

Running Time: 110 min. Production Date: 12 / 1996 Director: Veronica Hart Cast: Felecia, Sindee Coxx, Kylie Ireland, Misty Rain, Julie Rage, Christi Lake, Alexis Dane, Caressa Savage, Juli Ashton, Kim Kataine, Carolyn Monroe, Melissa Monet, and Michael J. Cox in sexual roles and Ron Jeremy in a non-sex role Initial Expectations: VCAs Deep Inside series has been very good so far. Im expecting another good one here. Initial Reaction: Its a good compilation, but it lacks a bit compared to some of the other installments. Who Should Watch It : Fans of all girl action and anybody whos a Felecia fan or whos just curious about her Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who doesnt like lesbian action Audio /Video Quality: The audio varies a bit throughout the feature. Some of the interview is a little scratchy, almost as if the microphone was maxed out. The movies themselves come across every bit as good as what they originally sounded to be. Most of the video has some slight grain, which is to be expected with a feature thats over five years old. [read the full review]

Club Sin Directed by Antonio Passolini Overall Impression "The first rule of Club Sin is you don't talk about Club Sin", while I'm going to break that rule so you won't have to watch Club Sin. I had high hopes for this title, being a huge Gere fan as well as being impressed with some Antonio Passolini's other works. After watching Club Sin I am hard pressed to believe this is the same Antonio Passolini that directed "Cafe Flesh 2", "DMJ5", and "Flesh". As far as capturing the sexual action Passolini does a horrible job in my opinion. There are a few powerful performances in this one that are "dulled" by his poor camera work. This disc is a real shame, because Ashlyn Gere, Gwen Summers, and Chole deliver, but Passolini fails to make the most of their talents. Plot Club Sin is clearly, but loosely based on the popular movie "Fight Club". [read the full review]

review from 9/4/2016:
When a timid, tomboyish auto mechanic and shop owner, Ginger Lynn, attempts suicide after she finds the disinterested delivery dude of her dreams, Voodoo, with one of her employees, Kylie Ireland, she discovers herself in a bizarre, sexual version of purgatory, with only one final chance--and a variety of sexual trials--between herself and eternal damnation. Such is the case in "New Wave Hookers 6", an exceptional, 2000 release from VCX and director Antonio Passolini. [read the full review]

review from 12/13/2005:
I'm a married woman looking for enhanced pleasure with my husband. It doesn't take much to get him arroused, however I need a bit more encouragement and I'm far more critical of the porn we watch. Here's my honest opinion: White lightning is a series of sexual encounters linked together by relationships. There was a lot of jealousy and pouting by the characters, who were upset that their significant other was cheating, but then that character would imediately go have sex with someone else. I thought this was a lame attempt at drama. The story line was pretty dumb, even though there was an attempt to make it intresting. The movie was a bit long...to long for my husband and me to wait, so we had to watch the ending later. I thought there would be a twist, or a surprise at the end, but there wasn't. It just sort of ended. The sex acts were fortunately better than the acting, and the filming and settings were good. [read the full review]

Running length: 2 hrs 10 min. D.O.P. 10/99 Director: Veronica Hart Female cast: Ginger Lynn, Chloe, Kylie Ireland, Keisha, Angelica Sin, Sindee Coxx, Nina Hartley, T. J. Hart, Midori, Salena Del Rey, Male cast Michael J. Coxx, Mickey G, Billy Glide, Brad Armstrong, and Dale DaBone Audio/Video: Very well done, no complaints here. I liked the lighting in the club scenes, and the thunder and lightning special effects during the scene between Mickey G and Kylie Ireland. Multi-angle option in parts. Extras: Fantasex feature, which is kind of a virtual sex option, some bios, short 'interview' with Ginger, behind the scenes, and a photo gallery. Menus were so slow to load, I found myself pressing my remote, like we do at crosswalks or elevators, though we know it won't help speed things up. [read the full review]

Running Time: 130 min. Production Date: October 1999 Director: Veronica Hart Cast: Ginger Lynn, Chloe, Sindee Coxx, Nina Hartley, T. J. Hart, Kylie Ireland, Angelica Sin, Salena Del Rey, Keisha, Cherry Mirage, Midori, Anita Cannibal, Syren, Brooke Hunter, Marlene, Michael J. Coxx, Mickey G., Brad Armstrong, Billy Glide, and Dale DaBone Initial Expectations: Ive heard great things about Veronica Harts movies, although this is the first one Ive watched (that I know of) with her behind the camera. VCA normally does a great job with their DVDs, so Ive got fairly high expectations for this DVD. Initial Reaction: Wow. Once again VCA shows how amazing a well made DVD can be, especially when combined with an excellent movie. Audio /Video Quality: Both are excellent. The picture is crystal clear with no faults that I saw. The same can be said for the sound. Music: The music in the movie is the closest thing to come to average on this DVD. [read the full review]

This film is essentially a collection of vignettes that capture the essence of the 50s and early 60s with a dream like quality. The imagery and high style that Ninn captures is amazing, but even more amazingly he manages to get some very hot and relatively hardcore performances at the same time. [read the full review]

review from 7/1/2000:
Right from the start, let me say that CASHMERE is a great-looking movie and ana amazing production from VCA. This video directed by the one and only Michael Ninn occasionally goes overboard with the digital effects used throughout the various sex scenes, but unlike his previous efforts like SHOCK, LATEX and the highly disappointing NEW WAVE HOOKERS, they never distract or get in the way of the eroticism (his best work, DECADENCE and DIVA I through III have yet ato appear on DVD. However, I do have a aesthetic complaint about this film, which unfortunately cannot be helped due to the visual setting and theme of this movie. The powder white bouffant wigs which are placed on the head of every girl gets to be a bit much, and makes most of the girls lookalike. Costumes in adult movie are okay, but I prefer spiked high heels and stripper outfits and Victoria's Secret lingerie over period fashion designs any day. In any event, this early DVD release merely represent standard VCA excellence. [read the full review]

Sorority Sex Kittens 3 review summaries:

review from 3/22/2004:
Clocking in at 2 hours and 16 minutes this feature is way too long. The story line, for a porno anyway, is way way way too complicated. It is a nice idea to be thorough but does anyone really care about the true history of the sorority, and the meaning of its Cajun roots and legacies? And what the hell is this time warp thing at the end with Jill Kelly's only dialogue in the film? But I do like the witty intelligence thrown in - especially the music references to Warren Zevon and "Lawyers, Guns, and Money" and Van Morrison's "Tupelo Honey" (those are a few topics I never thought I would encounter in erotic cinema reviews). Oh and the sex --- pretty good stuff - but too many blondes. The standouts are Gere, Ireland, Ashton, and Serenity though the bulk of the picture seems to belong to LaVeaux. Houston's hair was terrible but she gave a good fuck and I can't complain if Stacy Valentine is one of the blondes (though her makeup was terrible). The individual sex scenes are very good but of course the highlight is the huge virtually all girl orgy at the end. [read the full review]

review from 7/19/2000:
The Plot: As you can tell from the title, this is part three of a series. I really wish I'd seen the first two. I might know a bit more where these people were coming from. I dropped this happy disk into my DVD player, expecting a fairly brainless ho-hum, low budget porn flick. I should have paid more attention. Two clues went right by me until I watched the opening credits. Clue number one: This is VCA putting out this DVD, so they have the talent. Clue number two: Executive producer is Antonio Passolini. Aha! As far as I can gather, the Upsilon Sigma Sorority has apparently been using voodoo rituals to kidnap fraternity guys to use them for breeding purposes. The girls stay young and fresh through depraved rituals, and use the guys for stud service whenever they feel the need or want children. I don't really see the problem, but I suppose the guys don't like being kept around and screwed silly every now and then. Whatever. Anyhow, our movie starts with the capture of the latest recruit for stud service. [read the full review]
