Joe Sherman's 78 minute EXPOSE ME NOW (1982, VCX-Cal Vista Classic re-release, 2008) sticks to its nutty premise and never really looks back; it's a surprisingly solid xxx comedy with a good performance by Ron Jeremy but numerous sex scenes with the lovely blonde Danielle boost the sexual energy up a few notches. "Wacky World of X-Rated Bloopers", an overall-decent, 1989 release from Gourmet Video and narrated by Kimberly Carson, is exactly as its name would imply--a collection of bloopers and behind the scenes material from a number of 1980's releases. Funny moments, true missteps, wood issues, and micromanaging directors are all highlighted. A number of stars from the era make appearances, some more so than others, and the release does provide a nice look at life on a porn set from a time period when BTS material really wasn't mass-produced and readily available. While it's not so much a production to get off to, it's certainly interesting and reasonably worth a watch. [read the full review]
