The set contains Too Naughty to Say No, Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls, The Ribald Tales of Canterbury, Prisoner of Paradise, and Dixie Ray Hollywood Star. The films on the release span from 1978 to 1985 and, honestly, fans of golden age adult films should find several to their liking, even if not all of the films included are favorites. None of the films on this release have ever looked better on home video and 5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is definitely worth picking up before it is sold out. [read the full review]

"Savannah: The Lost Footage" is advertised as a "tribute" to one of the true stars in the history of adult films, Savannah. Released a bit after the 15 year anniversary of her tragic passing, this movie promises her fans a renewed look at the actress via offering up some rare footage. Sadly, these promises are largely empty, as the DVD is full not with the "4 Hours of the 'Legendary Savannah'" displayed on the front of the disc, but instead with fifteen scenes--only three of which actually feature the star. In all, the only reason that this DVD received any stars here is due to Savannah. The fact that only three of fifteen scenes include her is shameful. The claims of "4 hours" when there are barely over three is also inexcusable. The lack of a Main Menu and any type of bonuses is unfortunate, as well. I would avoid this disc unless you are the most avid Savannah fan imaginable and have to have everything that she has done. Indeed, Savannah deserves much better than this. [read the full review]

Funny moments, true missteps, wood issues, and micromanaging directors are all highlighted. A number of stars from the era make appearances, some more so than others, and the release does provide a nice look at life on a porn set from a time period when BTS material really wasn't mass-produced and readily available. Films like this built the reputation of the "golden age" of adult, i.e., the years 1975 through 1982. This 1981 film is, of course, a spoof on the 1980 mainstream film "9 to 5" that starred Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton, and Dabney Coleman. In the adult version their parts are play by Loni Sanders, Annette Haven, Lisa DeLeew, and Herschel Savage. There's even a very nice theme song take-off on the famous Dolly Parton song that went with the mainstream movie. Plot and acting are superior to most seen today, and the sex scenes not only fit the plot, they advance the plot. Although the sex is by today's standards strictly couples fare, this is still a very hot movie and well worthwhile. Technically the disc is quite good, although the reverse angle gimmick was simply annoying. The video quality and audio are very good, given the age of the source material. [read the full review]
