Will Ryder and his partner, Scott David, are the kings of the porn parodies. Sure, back in the 80's there were many parodies like Hannah Does Her Sisters, but Will brought the genre back by staying true to the story and throwing in some hot sex as a bonus. His latest feature to make its way to me was Not Jersey Boys XXX, obviously a parody of the Clint Eastwood film that tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. This is a good release that never seems to fully live up to its idea of modern stars posing as classic porn stars. There's some solid nostalgia here, but the story is light, the wigs are a bit too cheesy, and the abundance of ink really killed the thought of the cast being classic stars. The technical aspects do show nice care and there's some good effort put into the behind the scenes featurette to help the extras. This is a good rental. [read the full review]

Maddy O'Reilly is excellent as Dorothy, and is nicely joined by a cast including but not limited to Annika Albrite and Nina Hartley. The technical aspects are well done and there's some nice effort put into the extras. This release has received a lot of attention through the awards season, and it's all been very well deserved. A recent parody release from the team of Will Ryder and Scott David. It is a retelling of a classic movie, The Wizard of Oz. Maybe not a flick that immediately springs to mind when thinking of shows to parody but they do a great job in retelling the story and mixing in the porn elements along the way. This comes in the form of sex scenes but also some catchy and funny tunes that the cast sings. Fantastic makeup and outfits too help make this a top notch parody and well worth the time to check out for fans of the movie who are curious about how they'd work sex into it. [read the full review]
