Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and even some of the voiceovers for the music seem close. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. It's well lit and clear with a solid hand on the camera.

The Movie: Unless you've been living in a cave the last seventy years or so, you've heard the story of Dorothy being whisked away from her Kansas farm in a tornado. Here Maddy O'Reilly takes the role Judy Garland made famous as Will Ryder, Scott David, and the X-Play crew give the L. Frank Baum classic a porno twist.

Nina (Auntie Em) starts out trying to earn a little extra money to save the farm on her knees sucking Kurt's cock. Not the Wizard of Oz XXX is a very ambitious porn parody that works very well. As usual Will Ryder does a great job paying homage to the original while also giving it a nice porno twist. Maddy O'Reilly once again shows that she's a starlet who deserves a heck of a lot more attention, and with the rise she's been on since coming into the business I wouldn't be surprised at all if we saw her earn a Performer of the Year or Starlet of the Year award in the next year or two. She continues to show that she can act as well as fuck and shows a simmering sexuality that's been a joy to watch grow. She's joined by a very nice cast here, from Nina Hartley giving head as Auntie Em to Stella Marie getting busy with Eric John as Will Ryder works in a little munchkin porn. Granted, I was hoping for the wicked witch to be taken down by a flying monkey blowbang, but Dick did a nice job getting busy with Brandy and delivered a nice facial to take her out of the picture. Mac Turner and Eric Swiss did a very nice job as the Scarecrow, and although the change is definitely noticeable it's also very well explained in the behind the scenes so I can't complain too much about the change. Not the Wizard of Oz XXX might have a few minor flaws to it, but it still managed to far exceed my expectations as Will Ryder put his spin on the classic tale and is very deserving of all the attention it received this awards season.

The Extras: Trailers are included for six other X-Play parodies. The photo gallery lasts a whopping twelve minutes. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, a compilation of the musical segments lasting about seven and a quarter minutes, a non-sex version of the movie, the ability to watch the opening menu, and company info.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts a little over forty five minutes. Will Ryder introduces the featurette and talks about how they had over a hundred girls auditioning for the movie that didn't make it and how they shot the movie in twenty seven consecutive hours rather than doing it as a multi-day shoot. There's plenty of eye candy and clips of the people auditioning, as well as pointing out the roles they had in other X-Play movies. Will Ryder gives a few introductions and has some fun working with the cast. Things move around the set with Scott David giving the grand tour and then returning to the scenes being shot. There's a few interviews with the cast mixed in with shooting the scenes, and you also get plenty of text comments about things happening around the set. This is a very nicely done behind the scenes featurette, which is nothing new for the X-Play group. You get plenty of eye candy, interviews, and fun around the set as well as deeper insights into how and why some things happened with Will Ryder and Scott David. This is a very nice addition to the overall release.

Final Thoughts: It's a fun porn parody that's all the more impressive when you watch the behind the scenes featurette. This one's well worth the purchase.
