The plot is simple, but has a very nice and somewhat surprising emotional depth to it that makes the feature aspect very strong. The sex is also very well done, and focuses on group action that isn't afraid to get a little nasty and which, not surprisingly, revolves around Brianna Love (who's in five of the six scenes). Brianna does a great job for her part fucking, sucking, and even acting, and is very nicely helped out sexually by Roxy DeVille, Max Makita, Darryl Hanah, and Christina Aguchi (who's the only person in the sex scenes not to take on Brianna), along with a nice lineup of guys. How well this movie works for you is probably going to depend on what you're expectations are going in. If you're expecting the peeping tom voyeur like John Leslie used early in this series, then you're in for a disappointment as that style rarely shows up. If you want Leslie's slightly artistic side, then you should like what you find as much of the movie felt like a lighter installment of his Fresh Meat series than an installment of The Voyeur. There's some good sex here, with Holly Morgan and Lexi Love's opening scene and Rebecca Linares' closing scene being my favorites, but the action often seemed a touch long. The technical aspects are typical for Leslie, with grain and shadows and great audio, and sadly there isn't really any effort put into the extras. Evil Angel is probably the standard setting Gonzo porn outfit and John Leslie has reached legendary status as a helluva porn director...Despite all of that, my main motivation for seeing this title was Sunny Lane. If you're not familiar with her, check out just about anything she's in. The girl gives 110 every time out. In Sunny Lane's scene she stumbles upon her husband Sascha having torrid sex with Adrianna Alyse in the upstairs bedroom. Of course, as in every porn movie, Sunny immediately joins the romp and what follows is a delicious threesome with red hot sex and an interesting twist at the end. I haven't watched a John Leslie movie in a while because he drives me bonkers shooting into the light which blinds the viewer from some of the action. I made an exception for Naomi who is a Czech-Israeli with the most incredible ass since Vida Guerra. She participates in every scene in this movie: Solo masturbation scene James Dean including anal Marie Luv (a, dp), Erik Everhard, and Sascha Blowbang with some fucking of her buttcrack frotteurism - Mario, Arnold Schwarzenpecker, Scott Lyons, and Mike Hash Tee Reel, Lefty Larue, and Brian Pumper Mysti May and Mark Davis For the most part I liked this movie. Leslie continues to use natural lighting in his movies but he stays away from the windows. We still have a murky feel but I didn't it as much especially since it fits in with his Voyeur style. Occasionally you'll see some flaring which makes me wonder if his lens is scratched. This is evident in the second scene with James Deen. What I liked I didn't find a lot I liked, the women were pretty aggressive but it was almost like an artsy movie. What I didn't like Poor scene locations. Summary Katja: I really like Kaja a lot, she has a tight body and the roundest butt around. The sex is in an alleyway which was really a bummer, a lot of it was standing up. They did it on the ground but there wasn't much room to move around for the performers or the camera and the camera had a glossy filter on it. Expectations John Leslie is one of my favorite directors, and the Voyeur is one of my favorite series from John. Of course I'm excited! Capsule Review Leslie heads to Europe to find some Euro Starlets for this edition of The Voyeur. The ensuing video is compelling and erotic. Technical Per John's usual performance with this series, the DVD is clear and crisp, though highly stylized. Expectations I am always excited by the prospects of another volume in this series. Leslie is one of my favorite directors and this series, quirky as it is, has been one of his best efforts. I am definitely looking forward to this. Capsule Review While this disc is erotic, it is not one of John's stronger efforts in this series. That said, it is still better than 95 of the porn on the market. So if you are a Leslie fan, go for it. Technical Like all of the other FM titles I've seen, the audio, video and mastering are very well done. These tend to have a very unique feel to them, but I do not discount the technical aspects because of stylistic elements. The Voyeur #10 Directed by John Leslie Overall Impression This is a great looking cast of young firm European girls, and considering it was shot in 1997 it is still some very respectable gonzo. Leslie's directorial style is not my personal favorite, but it certainly holds true to the title of the series "The Voyeur". He makes it seem almost like you are spying on these people having sex with his use of the camera sometimes. I prefer the more of a first person experience myself. However the fact is this disc has gorgeous girls enjoying some hardcore sex and there is nothing wrong with that. This may be an older movie, but it is a relatively new release on DVD and it shows, the menus and extras are pretty good for the most part.
