The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I've heard some fantastic things about this one, and can't help but go in with extremely high expectations!

Initial Reaction: There were a couple scenes that didn't work as well as the others for me, but it's still a very impressive movie that I can't help but recommend.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with John Leslie's work, there's a touch of art to the technical aspects. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although he plays with it a little when he's airing out his voyeuristic tendencies, I can't find a single complaint with the audio. The video is also played with a tad, but works quite well. There's a little grain in places due to some of the low lighting and filters Leslie used, and there are a few shadows that pop up in places as well with how Leslie works to create a natural lighting feel. The shadows got to me a little, but I just can't complain too loudly with Leslie's artistic eye.

Menus: The main menu works together some cool animation with a still and a bit of the movie. The chapter menu, as usual, shows some nice care by letting you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girls in the action or a title about the action.

The Feature

Naomi... There's Only One is a very well done fuck flick. John Leslie does a fantastic job mixing things up and working his creative muscle to make sure the viewer's muscle is stretched as far as possible as well. I'll readily admit that a couple of the scenes didn't work as well as others for me, but at the same time it's part of what I really like about the movie. The scenes that didn't work as well for me are scenes that didn't play to my tastes but I know do to others, such as the blow bang. It still works for me because I love that a director would put that much variety into a movie that focuses on one performer, and something that seems to happen way too frequently in a porn world that seems littered with one trick pony movies. Instead, Naomi... There's Only One comes off as one of those movies where almost anybody can find something they like because the only things that are missing are cream pies and a girl on girl scene. For me, my favorites were probably the tease “fuck” between Naomi and Mario Rossi, or perhaps the foursome with Marie Luv, Erik Everhard, and Sascha. Even with a couple scenes that were fairly average to me, I can't help but recommend Naomi... There's Only One.

There's a lot of the position changes here, and there's a part of me that would have really liked to have seen the movie extended a bit with some of the footage. The segments last between about three minutes for the blow bang to over eight for Naomi's scene with Marie, Erik, and Sascha, and even includes an extra position or two. This is a very nice collection of extra footage, and it helps out the overall DVD very nicely.

Currently, most of Evil Angel’s DVDs can be found online for between about $18 and $30, with a few stores offering them in the $20 range. If you're a fan of Naomi, and I'm not sure how one couldn't be, there's no way this one isn't going to be worth the money. Leslie mixes up the action nicely throughout the movie and gives it a few of his nicely artistic touches. The technical aspects show some very nice care, and there's also some nice effort put into the extras. This is a great DVD!
