Christy Canyon Triple Feature 4 review summaries:
Flash's
Alpha Blue Archives' Christy Canyon Triple Feature Four brings together three mid-80s shot on video movies that are only related by the fact that Christy Canyon stars in all three of them. The three movies contained on the release are John Stagliano's Evil Angel, a hardbody feature, Hal Freeman's Sinfully Yours, an essentially all sex movie, and Mark Carriere's Savage Fury, a video roughie. Sinfully Yours is the best of the movies on the release with both Evil Angel and Savage Fury feeling like they were rushed productions. Overall, this is a rather disappointing collection of Christy Canyon movies. Alpha Blue Archives has done a poor job with their release of Christy Canyon Triple Feature Four utilizing some rather abysmal transfers. [read the full review]

California Valley Girls (VCX) review summaries:
fu_q's
It's like a totally awesome time, for sure, like ya' know... when a pair of 1980's LA dykes lose their source of income and opt to pimp out a local group of valley girls as a means of making ends meet. Of course the girls, who are totally tubular tarts to begin with, are all down for it, especially needing money to buy clothes at the mall and all, which is like having a super rad sale. Such is the case in "California Valley Girls", a very good, 1983 release from VCX and director Hal Freeman. [read the full review]

Sinfully Yours (Hollywood Video) review summaries:
Flash's
Sinfully Yours is rather standard fare to have come out of the 80s shot on video adult entertainment market. The sex scenes look good and the movie has a strong cast, however, despite masquerading as a feature the movie is essentially an all sex release. As a result, Sinfully Yours is a hard movie to recommend unless you are a fan of the stars. Hollywood Video has done a good job with their release with good video quality and decent audio but no extras. [read the full review]

Shades of Ecstasy review summaries:
Flash's
Shades of Ecstasy is a fluffy and fun adult film to come from the waning days of shot on film productions. There isn't much to the plot and the viewer can figure the story twist out long before it's revealed, however, the plot entertains the viewer, has good production values, and the sex scenes look nice. Shades of Ecstasy is definitely worth checking out. Hollywood Video has done a decent job with their release with nice looking video and good audio but hasn't included any extras. Blue Ribbon Blue review summaries:
Diville's
Starring: Annette Haven, Sharon Mitchell, Seka, Lisa Deleeuw, Bridgette Monet, Lee Carrol, Abigail Clayton, Veronica Hart, Serena Eric Edwards, Paul Thomas, Jamie Gillis, Hershel Savage First of all, let it be understood that I hold no porn prejudices. If people want to have sex for my entertainment, who am I not to watch them? That means, among other things, that I have absolutely nothing against "old school" porn. By the same token, however, I don't think "classic" movies are inherently better than what's made today. With that in mind, Blue Ribbon Blue presents itself as a greatest hits package of classic stars. Unfortunately, it's not. In fact, it was produced years ago before its performers were even considered legends, and its poor mastering reflect just how much of a thrown together effort it actually is. Had they known that it would be released in the 21st century, it's producers may have paid closer attention to what they included. [read the full review]
