Review brief: The first thing that has to be said about Raw #1 is that it isn't a real adult film. Oh, there's plenty of naked women and sex, but this is not a reall film itself. Instead, it shows the process by which adult scenes are put together, and while most scenes are shown in quite some detail, I found it more educational than erotic. I also found it one of the most interesting films I've seen in a while. I have only two general complaints. Firstly, the video quality is terrible as the images are highly pixalated, some scenes worse than others. However, this behind the scene look was not shot with their main cameras but with cheaper extra ones so the diminished video quality can be excused. The second complaint I have is that they never say what films each scene is from. They certainly are not from the same film since they come from dozens of different directions, and the scenes were not just shot for this presentation. I'd like to see the "official" films that this behind the scene look came from.

Review brief: An Inside View with Selena Silver August 18, 2003 New Girls 4, a Joey Silvera film from Evil Angel Release Date: July 16, 2003 BACKGROUND Joey Silvera brings a unique style of film-making to his New Girls Line. There is his trademark fixation with specific body parts on the girls, his perfect camera angles, his well-known close ups, his high-quality lighting, his "play through" style of directing, and his casual editing. He produces a very satisfying gonzo product. I first met Joey at the AVN show in Las Vegas this past January. I remember meeting him at the Evil Angel booth and immediately liking him. He has a way of making every girl feel beautiful because I think he actually falls in love with all of them. :) He was fixated with my breasts and got me to show them to him (even though we weren't supposed to on the trade show floor!). This is a good DVD with Justin Slayer giving outstanding performances in two scenes. The DVD begins with Harley Davis and Slayer. She looks so hot in her black latex high boots, corset and long black gloves. Slayer is in great shape. He shows us a real power move when he lifts Harley to a standing '69. Nice move. The cameraman is right there giving us an incredible view of the action. We like the movement from position to position without lingering too long in one place. No need to fast forward because we have seen the same thing too long. It shows an understanding, on the part of the editor, the importance of timing. Slayer certainly knows how to satisfy Harley, himself and us! We like the cum shot.
