There's a dreaded phone sex ad at the beginning of the movie that you're forced to watch before the main menu appears. It doesn't last too long, and it's at least well-done and does not look like the cheesy phone sex ads of the early '90s they throw in between scenes on crappy compilation tapes. Lee himself comes on and introduces the movie while sitting on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The movie is made to look as if it had been shot on bad quality film, with some kind of filter effect.

He's known for his huge dick, but I've never really been impressed with his performances in the past. In this one he plays the role of actor and director, appearing in four of the six scenes on the disc. One caveat that must be discussed when talking about Platinum X is the dreaded "chroma shift" problem. Many of their earlier discs suffered from a bad color problem, the chroma shift, where weird-looking halos (usually blue or red) appear around objects on the screen. Some movies have the problem much worse than others, and some PXP discs do not exhibit the problem at all. The newer the release from PXP, the less likely the halos are to appear.

Review brief: I really have tried to like this series from Wicked, but it seems to fall flat every time I view another volume. They do an outstanding job of assembling some wonderful talent, and the production values are once again top-notch, but the performers themselves dont really seem to be into it, and the editing leaves something to be desired. Once again, too much time is spent on reaction shots of the female performers and not enough time on penetration shots. Plus, once it seems the fucking is hitting a steady clip, the camera then zooms in onto another couple or small group fucking. The biggest problem with orgy movies is that there always seems to be the feeling that the viewer is missing out on something because he/she can hear moaning and fucking going on elsewhere. Maybe this series needs to be longer. Maybe shorter. But, if these problems dont get corrected, it will stay the same as it is now. It must have a fan base out there for it to be all these volumes, and with the star-studded lineup, you would think that the product would be better. Sadly, its not.

Your typical Adam & Eve extras, although the bios weren't nearly as good as some of their others. They don't even show a picture of the person in the bio. Initial Expectations: From the title 'Meet Shayla at the crossroads of her life', I'm assuming that this is would be a biographical adult films out there.

I don't know exactly what that means, hopefully we won't be staring up at male genitals for the whole movie, which would be a true "Female POV" feature (shudder to think). Scene 1: Jassie James and a dude Well, we're getting artistic behind the camera already as the cute Jassie's scene opens with a weird and deliberate orange tint. Thankfully, that goes away soon and we get to appreciate Jassie's young nubile body in full color.

Review brief: Reviewers Note: In the interest of full disclosure it is important to note that I produce a series of amateur titles. My work is completely unrelated to the mainstream adult industry but I still feel it is important to mention. Quick Hit: Legal Skin #17 Euro was pretty decent. I often find discs featuring Euro girls to be a little monotonous. But this disc has a great mix of cast members. All turning in at least average scenes with a few stand outs. If you are into Euro Girls you might want to give this disc a look. DVD:Smash Pictures always does an average job with their disc presentation. They seem to follow a template which creates uniformity but lacks the excitement a well planned disc can add to the title. Scene 1: Kathy Anderson Platinum blonde, Kathy Anderson starts this disc off proper. She ha some decent sword swallowing skills and is really enthusiastic with her ole work. This also carries over into a great scene that features some doggy style, mish, and reverse cowgirl anal.

Review brief: There is a rule that no sequel is as good as the original. Im sure there are exceptions to this rule, but unfortunately it is not the case here. Young Directors 1 was a great film, and I looked forward to this one eagerly. Alas, it was nowhere near the first of this title. For one thing, Young Directors 1 was actually done by Justin Slater and others with a camera. That is not really the case here. Now and then a guy is given a camera, but it seems merely an inconsistent prop with no true function. What we have are the usual four scenes of twosomes with an occasional intrusion into the action by a cameraman. But the excitement and fun of number 1 is sadly missing.

The audio is balanced okay, but is extremely muddy and hollow. The video also lacks severely. Theres a small off-colored bar on the bottom edge and a fair amount of grain. The lighting is okay, but a little on the low side with a few shadows.

Review brief: I remember watching SEVP films for the first time and constantly wanting more. After having seen most of their releases over the past few years, however, I'm beginning to get a bit bored. For the most part, everything is the same in all of the films. Originally the boys were mostly Swedish, now I think they're Eastern European (but that makes little difference since they speak only rudimentary English, if at all). By and large, the camera work is good and the sound is always of high quality. Recently the films have become 100 bareback. Of course given the origins of the boys, everyone is uncut. While slight adjustments have been made in the SEVP formula (such as more plots, more English, and no condoms), all of the films basically follow the same pattern: the guys are usually in 2's or 3's, they first suck, then usually there's either a rim scene or a finger fuck...then there's the fuck scene, often with the same positions, followed by the facial cumshots. This film is no different in that respect. In scene 1, Gino and hottie Jocker trade blowjobs.

Review brief: I know a lot of people have been raving over this title, and with the top-flight starlets that are in this feature, I really can see why. But, I have to be honest. This disc left me more frustrated than anything else, because I got upset at the end for what this film could have been, instead of what it ultimately became. I can and do give it an A for effort, because I know Jack The Zipper put his all into it, but in the end, for me, slap-dash editing, poor lighting (at times), and poor pacing of each scene killed it for me. The feature opens with a personal favorite, Mika Tan, getting banged in a seedy hotel room. I love not only this girls enthusiasm, but that fat round ass of hers. She can match any dick in porn pump for pump, and she does that hear as well. But, the guy, who has a stocking on (no force involved) never takes off his black clothing, so I really could not see most of the penetration shots. Also, the editing jumps so much that the scene moves from position to position with no flow whatsoever.

Hopefully Kylie will have as much talent behind the camera as she did in front of it. Platinum X Pictures has always been one of my favorite porn studios. Unfortunately, many of their releases have suffered from poor video quality. Some of their DVD's have "halos" around the images on the screen which are highly distracting. This color problem, or "chroma shift" was fortunately mostly limited to PXP's early movies.

"New Whores 2" is directed by Jim Powers, veteran of the industry, and one of the hardest-working directors in porno, with hundreds of titles to his credit. She's a brunette who looks very young and really cute.

Review brief: Here is another quick and dirty review of something I've never really watched much of and that's voyeuristic porn at least not like this. This is supposed to be the real deal taken off cams featuring real people doing all the things they see the "pros" doing on screen,lol. Now you don't get good views for much of the action and what you do see almost looks like night vision fucking in most of the scenes. You have scenarios play out in various locations, a dressing room, an elevator-- yes there is Love In An Elevator!! Also some action takes place in a bathroom and you see the same girl return later on after she's given a bj to get some water for the coffee I guess but she adds an extra ingredient, namely some piss and with a guilty gleem in her eyes she makes a hasty exit before anyone is the wiser.

Review brief: I've always liked the fact that black skin shows off the pure whiteness of a well-earned cumshot. Therefore this title piqued my interest. However, I was a bit disappointed at the missed opportunity on the part of Miami Studios here. Blacks are known, after all, for big cocks and wild fucking (most of which was lacking here). Thankfully there were some cute bodies (both black and white) so that this wasn't a total loss. Overall this film was average and the sound/camera work needed improvement. Review brief: Whats in my DVD player (mainstream): One Nite in Mongkok This Hong Kong action film won Best Directing and Best Script as voted by the HK Film Critics and I recommend it. I loved how the locale of Mongkok, the most densely populated area in the world, was used as a backdrop for the pacing and scenery as the cops search for an assassin who has befriended a hooker played by Cecilia Cheung. This DVD was well worth the $20. Director: Denis Marti Running time: 2:07 My short review: I was interested in this title solely for Veronica Vanoza and she looked kind of sexy sporting her new hair-do, which was a short buzz-cut. With a body like hers, hairstyle is an afterthought. Review brief: My first look at a Vertigo video, every scene features two girls on one guy. The scenes are lit by mostly windowlight as far as I can tell. Some scenes annoyed me with the John Leslie effect which is shooting into the light. The other thing that annoyed me is that I couldn't every track was a scene and for some reason I can't skip to another track. Instead I'm either forced to fast forward through a scene or go through the scene selection menu to skip ahead. The sex was conventional with the guy's most difficult decision is figuring which chick he wants to do at that moment. Fake redhead and natural redhead Dani Woodward and Audrey Hollander tag team some dude on a couch. Audrey does most of the dirty talking. Dani just fucks the dude. In this one he plays the role of actor and director, appearing in four of the six scenes on the disc. One caveat that must be discussed when talking about Platinum X is the dreaded "chroma shift" problem. Many of their earlier discs suffered from a bad color problem, the chroma shift, where weird-looking halos (usually blue or red) appear around objects on the screen. Some movies have the problem much worse than others, and some PXP discs do not exhibit the problem at all. The newer the release from PXP, the less likely the halos are to appear.

Review brief: I really have tried to like this series from Wicked, but it seems to fall flat every time I view another volume. They do an outstanding job of assembling some wonderful talent, and the production values are once again top-notch, but the performers themselves dont really seem to be into it, and the editing leaves something to be desired. Once again, too much time is spent on reaction shots of the female performers and not enough time on penetration shots. Plus, once it seems the fucking is hitting a steady clip, the camera then zooms in onto another couple or small group fucking. The biggest problem with orgy movies is that there always seems to be the feeling that the viewer is missing out on something because he/she can hear moaning and fucking going on elsewhere. Maybe this series needs to be longer. Maybe shorter. But, if these problems dont get corrected, it will stay the same as it is now. It must have a fan base out there for it to be all these volumes, and with the star-studded lineup, you would think that the product would be better. Sadly, its not.

My work is completely unrelated to the mainstream adult industry but I still feel it is important to mention. Quick Hit: Legal Skin #17 Euro was pretty decent. I often find discs featuring Euro girls to be a little monotonous. But this disc has a great mix of cast members. All turning in at least average scenes with a few stand outs. If you are into Euro Girls you might want to give this disc a look. DVD:Smash Pictures always does an average job with their disc presentation. They seem to follow a template which creates uniformity but lacks the excitement a well planned disc can add to the title. Scene 1: Kathy Anderson Platinum blonde, Kathy Anderson starts this disc off proper. She ha some decent sword swallowing skills and is really enthusiastic with her ole work. For one thing, Young Directors 1 was actually done by Justin Slater and others with a camera. That is not really the case here. Now and then a guy is given a camera, but it seems merely an inconsistent prop with no true function. What we have are the usual four scenes of twosomes with an occasional intrusion into the action by a cameraman. But the excitement and fun of number 1 is sadly missing.

Review brief: I remember watching SEVP films for the first time and constantly wanting more. After having seen most of their releases over the past few years, however, I'm beginning to get a bit bored. For the most part, everything is the same in all of the films. Originally the boys were mostly Swedish, now I think they're Eastern European (but that makes little difference since they speak only rudimentary English, if at all). By and large, the camera work is good and the sound is always of high quality. Recently the films have become 100 bareback. Of course given the origins of the boys, everyone is uncut. While slight adjustments have been made in the SEVP formula (such as more plots, more English, and no condoms), all of the films basically follow the same pattern: the guys are usually in 2's or 3's, they first suck, then usually there's either a rim scene or a finger fuck...then there's the fuck scene, often with the same positions, followed by the facial cumshots. Review brief: I know a lot of people have been raving over this title, and with the top-flight starlets that are in this feature, I really can see why. But, I have to be honest. This disc left me more frustrated than anything else, because I got upset at the end for what this film could have been, instead of what it ultimately became. I can and do give it an A for effort, because I know Jack The Zipper put his all into it, but in the end, for me, slap-dash editing, poor lighting (at times), and poor pacing of each scene killed it for me. The feature opens with a personal favorite, Mika Tan, getting banged in a seedy hotel room. I love not only this girls enthusiasm, but that fat round ass of hers. She can match any dick in porn pump for pump, and she does that hear as well. But, the guy, who has a stocking on (no force involved) never takes off his black clothing, so I really could not see most of the penetration shots. Hopefully Kylie will have as much talent behind the camera as she did in front of it. Platinum X Pictures has always been one of my favorite porn studios. Unfortunately, many of their releases have suffered from poor video quality. Some of their DVD's have "halos" around the images on the screen which are highly distracting. This color problem, or "chroma shift" was fortunately mostly limited to PXP's early movies.

Review brief: My first Exquisite review, I didn't really know this company existed until I stumbled upon one of their sets. They were gracious enough to correct this oversight. Review brief: Here is another quick and dirty review of something I've never really watched much of and that's voyeuristic porn at least not like this. This is supposed to be the real deal taken off cams featuring real people doing all the things they see the "pros" doing on screen,lol. Now you don't get good views for much of the action and what you do see almost looks like night vision fucking in most of the scenes. You have scenarios play out in various locations, a dressing room, an elevator-- yes there is Love In An Elevator!! Review brief: I've always liked the fact that black skin shows off the pure whiteness of a well-earned cumshot. Therefore this title piqued my interest. However, I was a bit disappointed at the missed opportunity on the part of Miami Studios here. Blacks are known, after all, for big cocks and wild fucking (most of which was lacking here). Thankfully there were some cute bodies (both black and white) so that this wasn't a total loss. Overall this film was average and the sound/camera work needed improvement. Review brief: Whats in my DVD player (mainstream): One Nite in Mongkok This Hong Kong action film won Best Directing and Best Script as voted by the HK Film Critics and I recommend it. I loved how the locale of Mongkok, the most densely populated area in the world, was used as a backdrop for the pacing and scenery as the cops search for an assassin who has befriended a hooker played by Cecilia Cheung. This DVD was well worth the $20. Director: Denis Marti Running time: 2:07 My short review: I was interested in this title solely for Veronica Vanoza and she looked kind of sexy sporting her new hair-do, which was a short buzz-cut. Review brief: My first look at a Vertigo video, every scene features two girls on one guy. The scenes are lit by mostly windowlight as far as I can tell. Some scenes annoyed me with the John Leslie effect which is shooting into the light. The other thing that annoyed me is that I couldn't every track was a scene and for some reason I can't skip to another track. Instead I'm either forced to fast forward through a scene or go through the scene selection menu to skip ahead. The sex was conventional with the guy's most difficult decision is figuring which chick he wants to do at that moment.
