Review brief: Bustful of Dollars is the third offering from James Avalon for Red Light District but the third time is not the ultimate charm(even though I haven't watched Darkside yet). I would have to say I prefer the second movie, Sex Pix. The reason is not the sex which is outstanding nor the quality of girls which is improved over Sex Pix. It's the technical qualities and the pacing of the plot. Manuel Ferrara wants to direct a spaghetti western (or should it be called a bistro western?) porno that he wrote himself. Xavier Towers plays the skeptical producer who inspires Manuel with threats of cutting off his nuts. At points of the movies, I wonder if Manuel was only playing Avalon himself as he frets over all the fuckups that come with the irony of trying to make a spaghetti western porno as realistic as possible. The middle of the movie is just Manuel pacing and yelling at his crew not knowing what to do.

Review brief: Prologue This is a video whose premise is very near and dear to my heart. I reviewed the first edition and have seen the third, somehow skipping the second. It has always had the potential of delivering the most real and exciting sex possible, but never quite achieving it. I believe this is the first of the series to be filmed with American women and I think that might make a difference in a situation where communication between the participants is key, although volume 3 had Cassie Young and was probably filmed on American soil. No script. No directing. No breaks in action. No editing. An eclectic mix of women led by the scrumptious Jasmine Byrne. This one gives me great hope. All scenes begin with something akin to a prefight interview. Quasar goes over the rules of engagement as the participants stand outside the staging area. Review brief: This will be one of my 50 word reviews. I dont have much to write about for this one. Its not that I didnt like it I did. According to the package, this one is from Simon Wolf Bold I imagine the BOLD is to signify a push towards a hardcore angle. The box proclaims gushing geysers and deep anal fucking and that they love to squirt and butt-fuck! My! You definitely get some of both here. Not an overwhelming amount of squirting, but there is some wetness there. The anal is kept fairly clean and not at all nasty looking like some titles. The video quality is quite good. Review brief: David Luger has been the mind behind these Swapping titles recently (since around #4 I think. Before that it was Vince who, of course, also did a great job). It seems a little more effort goes into these swapping titles to use younger and prettier girls. Some of the earlier ones had the girls dressed in cuter outfits like little baseball style uniforms which had some appeal for me. In this one, the girls are still pretty cute, and you get a lot of video for the bucks here. Nearly 3 hours worth the DVD clock said 2:55 by the time the credits rolled (unless it was actually 2:55 am?) The drivers, (first Pete then Kris) have to suffer through "Are we there yets?" and the "I know a song that gets on everybody's nerves"from Tory and Jordan while Alexis and Taryn look like they're going to claw their eyes out. Once they get to the ranch, there isn't that much to do other than get drunk and fuck. Sure there's some horseback riding and a visit to the rodeo and a night club full of hicks in between. Tory even gets to participate in branding a calf. When I watch a porn, I don't exactly expect to hear the loudest moaning from a cow. Mr. Pete pretty much gets the majority of the action in this movie. One of the problems I have with many titles is that all their scenes end up looking alike; that's great if you like something very specific because you'll get tons of it. But if you're like me and you're easily bored, then it becomes dull very quickly. "12 Nasty Latin Girls Mastubating" is a great example. There are 12 girls and they're all rather pretty, but they also tend to blur together in their looks. They all tend to look about the same age. They're all slender and have smallish to medium-sized boobs. They all begin their scene by saying a few words, then stripping and fingering themselves for awhile. And that's about it. Not much breast play. No toys. Even the camera work is shot almost entirely at crotch-level and angled up at the girl's face, starts out fun but gets old after awhile. Video and audio are pretty good. The girls are fine, I'd like to see more of them.

Its quite clear and nicely lit, but at the same time its a little jerky at times, almost like youre watching a flip-book rather than a movie.

Its quite clear and nicely lit, but at the same time its a little jerky at times, almost like youre watching a flip-book rather than a movie.
