Maria Buccarelli Themes: Latina, Barely Legal "Latin Teen Tryouts 2" is yet another spin-off series from the usually reliable studio Devil's Film. First there were the "Teen Tryouts," then the "Anal Teen Tryouts," now there's more teens, Latin this time, trying out for Devil's. It all gets a little confusing after a while, but this one looks pretty good with the delicious Silvia Lancome spreading her giant onion booty seductively on the cover. I'm always a sucker for hot Latina chicks, and the film appears to have a bevy of Hispanic hotties gettin' it on. Scene 1: Lluna + Diana Dean and a guy Well, the first thing I notice immediately about the film is its unbelievably shitty picture quality. It's difficult to explain, but everything is very jerky and appears extremely blurry on screen. Any movement by performers is blurry and disorienting.

I don't particularly pay a lot of attention to the guys in porn movies, but when they are as solid and consistent as Steve, one begins to notice them. In "Anal Cum Addicts" Steve directs and stars in every scene with a great bevy of young beauties.

The recent "Good Girls Gone Black" with Paris Lee on the cover was a winner, but I've also seen a few duds from the Michaels arsenal. He tends to do a lot of acting in the movies he directs, and while he has a huge dick, his money shots are always quite weak and he never seems to be particularly excited about banging the incredibly hot girls he's teamed up with. Hopefully, "Black in the Blondes" will be more hit than miss. One caveat that must be discussed when talking about Platinum X is the dreaded "chroma shift" problem.

I've seen a few of their movies and I've been generally pretty impressed with their DVD production values and the heat factor of the sex. I've seen another of Guy Capo's efforts "Gothsend," where his unique vision of goth-themed sex was highly interesting. This one appears to be a hardcore anal sex extravaganza judging by the great cast, who all are deservedly famous for their ass-related antics. Scene 1: Jayna Oso and a guy Jayna Oso (also known as Malaysia) is a great choice for this movie. She's a Hawaiian hottie who has been burning up the gonzo scene in the last three years or so. She's quite attractive with shorter black hair and a juicy body, and she always delivers a filthy anal scene.

This one is another Euro-girl Lesbian romp featuring a lengthy cast and a promise of "Big Toys" and "No Boys" allowed. I'm only really familiar with the lovely Sarah Twain, who starred and directed in the aforementioned "Teen Pussy Patrol," so the majority of these girls I'll be seeing for the first time. Scene 1: Sarah + Victoria + Cindy Ah, the time-honored tradition of European porn starlets just using one name. And it's usually a common name, so you have no clue if some girl is Sarah #8 from Budapest or Sarah #14 from Munich.

Their DVD's tend to be shorter than most gonzo movies, but have a great deal of good bonus material to pad the running time. The audio/video quality of the discs from New Sensations and their partner company Digital Sin are also usually top-notch. I really enjoyed their recent effort "That's a Mouth Full" which was a straight European release focusing on swallowing. This one "Tongues and Twats" is an all-girl movie that appears at first glance to have a very attractive and promising cast.

There's a dreaded phone sex ad at the beginning of the movie that you're forced to watch before the main menu appears. It doesn't last too long, and it's at least well-done and does not look like the cheesy phone sex ads of the early '90s they throw in between scenes on crappy compilation tapes. Lee himself comes on and introduces the movie while sitting on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The movie is made to look as if it had been shot on bad quality film, with some kind of filter effect.

He's known for his huge dick, but I've never really been impressed with his performances in the past. In this one he plays the role of actor and director, appearing in four of the six scenes on the disc. One caveat that must be discussed when talking about Platinum X is the dreaded "chroma shift" problem. Many of their earlier discs suffered from a bad color problem, the chroma shift, where weird-looking halos (usually blue or red) appear around objects on the screen. Some movies have the problem much worse than others, and some PXP discs do not exhibit the problem at all. The newer the release from PXP, the less likely the halos are to appear.

I don't usually like their strong emphasis on trashy fetish wear, but some of their movies (especially "Assploitations" directed by Aurora Snow) are scorching on the sexual heat meter. Skeeter Kerkove has also made a lot of quality films under the Mayhem label, but he has since left to direct for his own company Bad Ass. Mayhem is left with the veteran director Jim Powers and some other guys like this Steve Drake (aka "Stevie D") fellow. I have never seen one of his movies before but hopefully I'll like what I see. Scene 1: Trina Michaels and two guys I have also seen Trina in a couple of other recent releases from other companies and she didn't make too much of a lasting impression on me.

I don't know exactly what that means, hopefully we won't be staring up at male genitals for the whole movie, which would be a true "Female POV" feature (shudder to think). Scene 1: Jassie James and a dude Well, we're getting artistic behind the camera already as the cute Jassie's scene opens with a weird and deliberate orange tint. Thankfully, that goes away soon and we get to appreciate Jassie's young nubile body in full color.

The first was a 2-disc set, "Innocence: Candy Girl" with the luscious August on the cover. See my review for that one for more about Ninn Worx and director Halle Vanderhyden's style. "Innocence: Baby Blue" is only one disc, with Penny Flame and Charlie Lane posing seductively on the cover. The "Innocence" series focuses on young girls having sex against a white background, on extravagant but spare sets. The series has very high-class production values. Everything is forgotten but the girls and, usually, one piece of furniture. The action takes place on what seems like a circular, rotating stage. Everything is constantly in flux and moving around, including the quick camera edits.

I really dig the movies of Skeeter Kerkove, who produced a bunch of nasty stroke flicks under the Mayhem label. The beautiful porn starlet and director Aurora Snow also made quite an impression with her "Assploitation" series. "New Whores 2" is directed by Jim Powers, veteran of the industry, and one of the hardest-working directors in porno, with hundreds of titles to his credit. Scene 1: Jackie Ashe and a guy "Hi, I'm here about the ad in the paper for new whores" says Jackie when she walks through the door. According to Jackie, she's 18 years old. She's a brunette who looks very young and really cute.

I haven't seen anything from them yet, but I've been hearing nothing but great things. 3rd Degree has some eye-catching red foil box covers, with white DVD cases. The overall appearance of the package is quite attractive. Zero Tolerance always had some great foil box covers, and apparently 3rd Degree has followed in style. "What Gets You Off" features the lovely Cytherea, who is also an unknown quantity to me. She looks striking in a pink hat and fishnet top. I assume that Cytherea will be demonstrating her legendary "squirting" skills in her quest to "get off" in this one.

Jonni Darkko cut his teeth as a director at Digital Sin, and his product was so popular that he is now a star director at Evil Angel. The series focuses simply on hardcore anal sex. The sixth volume has the beautiful Kaylynn on the cover, so I had to pick it up. Hopefully Jonni will not disappoint. Scene 1: Katrina Kraven and a guy Katrina Kraven is a very hot performer, although her appearance is not really what I'm into. I'm not particularly a fan of girls with tattoos, and Katrina has some enormous colorful ones covering her arms, and a weird pentagram one above her vagina.

I've only seen one other title from the company (the previously reviewed "Nothing Underneath 3") and I was very unimpressed. I'm not holding out much hope for this one, either, based on the cover and cast list. There's a lot of mature ladies in this title, with the exception of Eve Lawrence, so porn viewers who like to see MILFs and older women in action might want to give this one a rental. Scene 1: Vicky Vette and a porn stud Vicky is a starlet I've only heard about and never sought out on DVD before. She looks like the prototypical 1990's porn star, with huge blonde hair and giant fake bolt-on boobs. She is more mature than the average 19-year old gonzo starlet.

They're apparently known for their artistic take on pornography. The "Innocence" movies are filmed against an empty white background (I guess to symbolically represent innocence). It's a very stylized, romantic, dream-like way to shoot, very different than typical Red Light District style gonzo. The director Halle Vanderhyden seems to do porn for the MTV generation, with dozens and dozens of quick cuts and edits in every scene. For some this may be disorienting, as it's tough to focus on one specific thing while the camera is jumping around so much.

I'm not one of them; I've seen a lot of Simon Wolf product at my local smut shops, but I never really knew what their style was, so I never picked one up. I've also never been particularly attracted to their box covers. Scene 1: Montanna Rae and some porn stud Montanna is a pretty hot young thing with a petite frame and long dirty blonde hair. She is wearing a sexy denim skirt and looks less like a porn star than a cute girl next door. I wish her scene was nearly as hot as her. There just wasn't anything going on here.

I have only seen a couple, the early "Travel Sluts" featuring Taylor Rain, which was solid, and the recent "Gothsend," a goth-themed feature from director Guy Capo. A lot of DVSX movies, from what I can tell, are vignette-based features, where the sexual action is set up through a number of (usually short) plot devices. Thankfully, there is really none of that here. The girls get right down to business in this straightforward gonzo release. This film is also one of a number of DVD's in the "POV" genre, which stands for "Point of View" and is meant to bring the viewer directly into the action. All sex is shot from the perspective of the male talent. Some love POV, and some hate it. I personally like it, but it makes for little variety in the male performers.

Doing a little research on the web, I found that they are a new company, with about a dozen releases under their belt, that tends to focus on interracial sex. Lisa Sparxxx also appears to star in a few of their films. She is another unknown quantity to me, but she looks very hot on the box cover ready to get gang-banged. The theme here appears to be the same as the popular "Gangland" series from Devil's Film. An "innocent" white girl gets lost in the ghetto, or some other silly scenario, and gets violated by a number of large black men. "Five Local Gangbangers... and One Big-Booty White Girl" promises the opening credits.

The idea of a woman submitting herself to so many guys, whose main goal was to fill her two lower holes with enough sperm to repopulate a small city, was pretty erotic. I had pretty high expectations for this release and even more for the sequel "65 Guy Cream Pie" featuring the always-exciting Ariana Jollee. The picture quality of this DVD was very good. Devil's, unfortunately, is a company that is not known for great video quality. A number of their early DVD's suffered from pale and washed out colors, especially in the "Gangland" series. This DVD, however, looks great, especially in the opening scene outside, which is quite vibrant.

"Tits & Ass" is a line devoted entirely to the joy of tit-fucking and anal sex, two of my favorite activities! All of the scenes in the "Tits & Ass" series bypass the pussy and focus exclusively on the... well... Tits and Ass. Total hottie Sharka Blue looks fetching on the fine cover of this DVD. Also, as an added bonus, Devil's has started making some of their releases 2-Disc sets, including this one. In addition to the feature you will get an extra 4-Hour compilation disc. Included is "Anal Pounding 1," which features 8 anal scenes from the Devil's Film back catalogue. I recognized three scenes which are all pretty good; Monica Sweetheart from "Tits & Ass 1", Gauge from "Tits & Ass 2" and Venus from "Gangland 40".
