One thing I really hate to keep talking about in the movies from Platinum X Pictures is the issue of the "chroma shift." Many of their earlier discs suffered from a bad color problem, a chroma shift, where weird-looking halos (usually blue) appear around objects on the screen. Some movies have the problem much worse than others, and some PXP discs do not exhibit the problem at all. I can't see any evidence of the halos in "Anal Cum Addicts," thankfully. Hopefully the problem will be addressed, or has already been addressed sufficiently, so I don't have to keep talking about this stuff with every PXP movie I review.

Scene 1: Marie Luv and Steve Holmes + Michael Stefano

The only possible complaint I have with this release is that the picture quality of the DVD is not the greatest. It looks too compressed in some scenes and one can see some very light pixellation, as if there is too much material on the disc. It's still pretty good (at least there is no color problem with the halos) but I can tell that this one just isn't up to usual Platinum X quality and I wonder if it's because of the extreme length of the movie and extras. The behind-the-scenes segment also didn't look that great, but Steve at least explained why for the Gia Paloma scene.

Aside from that, though, "Anal Cum Addicts" is a veritable masterpiece of modern anal gonzo smut. It's one crazily long DVD, and it's amazing that nearly every second of it is high-quality pornography. I can't ever remember seeing a DVD that wasn't a compilation stretch to over four hours in length. The cast is amazing and does some seriously filthy things. Every girl does anal and Kelly Wells even comes through with a double anal! Raincoaters and anal fans everywhere will adore this title. It's a great value and another definite home run for Steve Holmes!
