Lovers Lane (Wicked)

Release date: 6/23/2005
Reviewed on: 8/30/2005

Studio: Wicked

Starring: Evan Stone [I] (straight), Chris Cannon, Randy Spears, Brad Armstrong, Eric Masterson, jessica drake, Exotica, Devinn Lane, Ava Vincent, Kimberly Kane, Jennifer Luv, Talon, Kris Slater, Nadia Styles, Makayla Cox
Directed by: Brad Armstrong

Review brief: Description Out on Lover's Lane, young couples are being murdered at night by slasher with a hook. Devinn Lane is a local cop whose sister was killed in a similar, unsolved murder ten years ago. She joins FBI agent Randy Spears in a search for the killer. There is discreet condom use throughout. General Impression I was a little worried that the whole sex-plus-slasher thing might be unerotic, but the slasher stuff is done basically in a B movie sort of style -- dribbles or flecks of blood, girls running comically around in high heels, and the violence is either implied, or is mild enough to leave you snickering. You're also going to love guessing the age of some of the actors playing 18 to 28 year olds. The first four scenes are decent scenes shot in the dim lighting of cars parked at night. The last three scenes notch up the heat, especially the fifth and seventh scenes. The fifth scene, Devinn Lane with Randy Spears, is terrific and has replay value, and is my reason for recommending this movie.

Directed by: Greg Steele, Brad Armstrong

Review brief: Description This is a collector's edition release of the 1996 Jenna Jameson movie Conquest. I didn't see the original version, but this one has added extra features. General Impression It's fun to watch, the sort of swashbuckling pirate adventure that they used to show on Saturdays at the elementary school auditorium when I was a kid. Well, not quite! This one has less plot and more sex. They spent a lot of money on this movie, and it shows. But they weren't too careful about historical accuracy. That's okay, though. Part of the fun of the movie is giggling over the I Dream of Jeannie hair and fake eyelashes, the shaved pussies, the shiny hair scrunchy, the thong tan lines, and so forth. The plot is going to lose you a bit at first -- not because it is complicated, but because quite a bit of the dialogue is mumbled or at low volume, and the characters speak of several people without any explanation of who they are talking about.

Directed by: Michael Raven

Review brief: Description Beautiful is a stylish, dark, moody feature, roughly based on the Snow White story. Julia Ann plays the scheming Ellen Queen, a business owner who wants to be rid of a romantic rival, her downtrodden employee Sondra Snow (played by Stormy). Condoms are used. General Impression In a nutshell, this one was fun to watch. The scenes Stormy is a bit glum, but her co-worker Devinn coaxes her into getting ready for an evening out on the town. From her dressing room, Stormy can hear Devinn next door, talking dirty to Joey Ray. Devinn shreds the shirt right off Joey, and the two of them follow up with tease, hair-pulling, whimpering, and spanking, along with the usual serving of reverse cowgirl and doggie. Stormy is still preening next door as Devinn jerks Joey onto her tits. Very nice energy in this scene. Devinn and Stormy proceed to a nightclub, where coincidentally, the evil Julia Ann is meeting with Brad, a potential business partner and suitor.

Review brief: Description This is a 1995 feature with Jenna Jameson. She plays a phone sex operator who overhears a murder over the phone, thus becoming a target for the hitmen. General Impressions The plot is full of holes, in a quirky, entertaining way. Jenna is cute and fluffy in her miniskirt and go-go boots. There's a strong emphasis on blowjobs here, and the popshots are nicely made mostly into the girls' mouths rather than all over tarnation. Sex Scenes As we begin the movie, Jenna is being eaten out from behind by Brad as she leans against a stylish glass block wall. The slightly dizzying camera angles and disorienting music fade into relative normalcy as she sucks his dick. She squeals a few times in doggie and mish, and right after the facial we learn that this is all a dual fantasy between Brad and his phone sex girl, Jenna. He asks her to hold on for a minute as Steven and Mark enter his office. She hears the ensuing interrogation of Brad about 'where the paintings are,' and a gunshot.

Directed by: Brad Armstrong

Review brief: Description This is a couple's feature. The plot involves a smarmy orchestra conductor/composer who maintains his creative juices by manipulating his new cellist into performing sexually while he watches. Condoms are used. General Impression Steven does a great job as the lead - his simutaneously repellent and appealing 'Bad Boy' is fun to watch (think 'John Larroquette' in Night Court). Devinn sneers back at his arrogance, but somehow finds herself willingly ensnared by him. Devinn has her usual spicy attitude and great sexual intensity. If you like passive, barely eighteen, 'deer in headlights' girls, you won't find it here! It was indeed fun to watch the performers fake-play their musical instruments, but they did a fairly good job of it -- it's not distracting. Sex Scenes The sex is consistently hot and creative. After an argument, Steven angrily dismisses his neglected girlfriend Asia. She comes crawling back -- in his dreams! for some sucking and fucking. It's hot, but it's only his imagination.

Directed by: Jonathan Morgan

Review brief: Description This is a comedy feature by Jonathan Morgan. Hercules sets out to perform 12 feats, while the goddess Hera puts obstacles in his path. Yes, condoms are used, usually discreetly. General Impression Wow! We would have been happy to have this movie run longer. It's not just the sex carrying the movie, but the plot and acting were highly entertaining. I was surprised by the quality of Space Nuts, and here again, I have to refer to some of the stars as actors, not just performers. Mike Horner is squirmy fun as the pompous narrator. Julia Ann nails it as the sarcastic, bitterly funny, scheming Hera. Evan once again steps up to the plate, and manages this time to play a moronic, oblivious Hercules with Randy Spears as his whining and cowardly sidekick Perseus. Sex Scenes Hera (Julia Ann) meets Ian, a supplicant at one of her temples. She doesn't want to hear his hilarious little sob story about a starving family, she wants action. He gives it to her -- in mish, reverse cowgirl, and doggie.

Review brief: Description This is a comedy feature with a space travel theme, directed by Jonathan Morgan. The plot involves princess Stormy fleeing evil overlord Mike Horner and his sidekicks Kyle and Devinn, with the help of her protectors, Randy and Evan. General Impression This is a truly funny parody of just about every space-themed tv show or movie that I've seen. The humor is closest in temperament to the smirky, wry Mystery Science Theater 3000. The budget for this feature was $200,000 -- about six times the amount that Morgan is usually given. No expense was spared, and it shows in the impressive costumes, stage sets, special effects, and makeup. I found it thoroughly enjoyable, and would recommend it to friends. Several of the actors did a particularly fine job, Evan Stone, Devinn Lane, Mike Horner, and Randy Spears among them. Mike was working under a prosthetic mask, and was still able to deliver priceless facial expressions. But Devinn was our favorite, spirited and sumptuous as the Dark Witch.

Directed by: Michael Raven

Review brief: Description This is a couples feature with very discreet use of condoms. The bare plot involves Asia tutoring Kaylani in martial arts to fight the forces of Evil. General Impression Fun! It has a campy, mainstream feel, with a few zippy special effects, and a nice variety of sex scenes. The box cover reads, "A young woman must face her destiny, her past, and her future. An epic tale of sexual awakening." Tee-hee! It's not all that. Except in the comic book sense, and Michael Raven likes comic books. The stage sets, costumes, make-up and camera techniques were impressive, the very decent musical score was written just for this movie (by Celina Mynx), and the girls looked great. Sex Asia Carrera, in traditional Japanese garb, has tea with Dillion, who has his hair shaved for a mowhawk, and a very convincing dragon 'tattoo' down the side of his head, neck, and shoulder. Wordlessly, they undress each other and Dillion does some aggressive pussy slurping. Asia worships his rod orally before saddling up and grinding on him.

Review brief: Description This is a couples feature with condom use, and filmed in French, but with an English soundtrack option. A group of young men and women visit a friend in the countryside, and they wander off in pairs to have sex. General Impression It's beautifully shot, with both indoor and outdoor scenes, and the cast are very good-looking young people. The sex is also good, but slow in places. There's a positively dreamy, slow, languidness to a lot of the scenes. The women often seem very passive. And some scenes are abruptly interrupted, to continue later. It has a few things that I really liked -- for example, realistic tease. Not just women teasing the men, but the men teasing the women a little. And not "Spread your butt-cheeks, baby," tease, but natural tease like pressing up against each other, withdrawing a bit, giving an inviting look. It was much more what you'd do with another person, rather than what you do for a camera. Sex Melanie nods off as the group is traveling by car to Phillippe's house.

Review brief: Description This is a couples feature with condom use. Jonathan Morgan directs, so there's a nice touch of humor. Julia Ann is the main character, a recently divorced reporter stuck with an assignment on 'dating in the 21st century.' She meets her share of losers through the classifieds and the dating services, and throughout the movie brushes off her bumbling and over-eager new neighbor, Randy Spears, only to find in the end that... ah, you know. General Impression Some very good scenes, well-shot, and the music is a good fit for the scenes. Most remarkable, no mis-steps or distracting junk, bad humor etc. It's consistently good. Sex In her first experiment, Julia Ann meets up with three losers through a classified ad. The third one, Steve Hatcher, recounts for her his steamy tryst with Laylani Lei. She strips down to a soft-pink bra, with stockings, heels and pearls, and gets right down to swallowing him whole, slurping and growling.

Review brief: Description This is an amusing couples feature with condom use. Kylie Ireland is up late at night in front of the tv, flipping channels. Each show that she starts to watch leads her to fantasize a sex scene. General Impression I watched the extras first and was impressed with the generally light-hearted attitude on the set. Each scene is a spoof of a B movie, and the crew had fun with the goofy premises. The little pterodactyl marrionette is a scream. This movie is light, amusing, and fun, though the sex isn't super hot. In several scenes I sensed the presence chemistry, sexual skills, or pleasure that wasn't shown to full advantage. Sex The volume is a bit inconsistent at the beginning of the scene, as two cowboys (Pat and Joel) confront each other in a saloon. My husband and I got a kick out the piano player's fake playing and out of the 'old fashioned' playing cards which are charming and look handmade. Anyway, Kylie steps into the argument between the men and offers them a way to settle their differences peaceably.

Review brief: Description This is a couples movie with condom use. The plot involves a support group of sexual compulsives, who meet to tell their stories in turn. General Impression The thing that impressed me most was the percentage of scenes in which the women get the guys off without male 'help.' Nice! It certainly helps the heat and chemistry factors. Also, at the end of the fourth scene, Sydnee gets Brad off orally, and it looks natural and realistic - no jizz splat over half the room, no spit jizz dribbling down her front. Where is the jizz? Who cares! How wonderful. Those who give a darn can replay it slow and play 'Spot the Jizz.' Sex Inari has married for money, and now finds herself sexually unfulfilled within the marriage, so she turns to the classifieds to hook up with a sexually adventurous couple, Nick and Kristal. There's lots of girl-girl before Nick's leather pants get unbuckled and his dick is freed for some dual tonguing and sucking.

Review brief: Description Date From Hell is a couples feature with a humorous plot. General Impression The movie wasn't overburdened with plot, but it also wasn't that funny. The girls are very good looking, and the sex was reasonably hot in two of the scenes, but nothing earth-shattering. By some odd quirk, they cast Ron Jeremy in two unrelated roles. Ron Jeremy chairs a meeting of people traumatized by bad dates. Serenity, Steve Hatcher, Johnni Black, and Steve Drake take turns describing their disappointing encounters. Sex Serenity imagines her upcoming date as a suave and polished man who brings perfect gifts and says all the right things. At her favorite restaurant, they peel off her clothes so that he can slip his latexed dick in for a vigorous, thumping mish with too much moaning. RCG and standing doggie follow. At one point his dick falls out and there is a very nice close shot of her pussy grasping and contracting. But she awakens from her reverie to discover that her real date is an ordinary clutz. Review brief: Description This is a couples movie with condom use. Jonathan Morgan (in a non-sex role) hosts a dating game show, and we the viewers get to see the couples hook up. General Impression I watched the extras first, especially enjoying a few nuggets mined from the Making of Cupid's Arrow. The movie itself got funnier after the first scene, with the fourth scene being quite funny. Sex Sydnee Steele gets matched up with Mark Davis for the first date. She's itching to get right down to it, so she suggests they try some hot tubbing. This scene was only average, with very brief bj action, brief doggie, brief RCG and mish - you get the idea. Aurora Snow plays a Russian ball-breaking spitfire. Her first match doesn't go too well - Kyle Stone ends a little worse for wear. Her second match is with Steve Hatcher, who arrives with a translator. The translator provides some funny and exceedingly diplomatic mis-translations, soothing the beastly Aurora, who yanks Steve's head down to her pussy to demand a good tonguing.

Review brief: Description This is a feature with condom use. Stephanie Swift is a small-town girl who leaves her daddy to travel to the city so she can make it big in the music business. Along the way she faces some really small, almost non-existent obstacles, weakly 'struggling' against them for about two weeks before a talent scout 'discovers' her. General Impression Reasonable but lackluster. There is a lot of time devoted to 'plot' in this movie, but it never really holds together well. We are supposed to believe that the main character has forged some deep friendships, but it sure doesn't look like it. There's also a lot of time watching people practice their music and sing onstage. Scenes Stephanie says goodbye to her boyfriend Trevor Zen with a blowjob and some bouncy cowgirl on the hood of a car. Then Daddy's Little Girl takes it in mish. Now settled into a seedy motel, she puts a glass to the wall to listen in as Brad Armstrong gets it on with Nikita Denise and Lezley Zen.

Review brief: Description This is a couples feature with condom use. The plot is borrowed from 'Cruel Intentions.' Serenity and Alex are idle rich stepsiblings who make a bet. If Alec can bed Kiki Daire he wins, and can have sex with Serenity. General Impression The sex scenes have great energy and a very high female pleasure quotient, with a number of orgasms for the ladies. On top of that, the acting is good, the sets are great, and the extras are plentiful. Sex Alec brings Amber home and lays her down on the stairs for some pretty hot handling and tonguing, while his stepsister Serenity lurks quietly in the next room fingering herself and videotaping them. There's some very hot and enthusiastic action on the stairs -- he feeds her her own juices from her fingers and she sucks his dick before they move into mish. Review brief: Description This is an older Wicked feature, now released on dvd. No condoms are used, and there is a dp. General Impression This is a light-hearted spoofy movie about detectives searching for a magic lamp that makes people horny. They romp through the movie encountering a female spy, a harem girl, and a female brainiac scientist. Jonathan Morgan sort of impersonates Groucho Marx, with some W.C. Fields and Moe Howard thrown in for good measure. His bumbling sidekick Steven St. Croix channels Jerry Lewis throughout the movie. The Scenes Christina Dior visits our pair of detectives, hiring them to find the magic lamp. After Steven leaves, Christina and Jonathan clown around a little, with some long-distance cunnilingus, a little biting and sucking, some odd camera angles, and a short bit of fucking in cowgirl before he cums on her ass. She turns to his son, Brad Armstrong, for some 'comforting.' General Impression I like the Forbidden Fruit theme, but the couplings lack chemistry. Sex Mike is in his office, charming Flick Shagwell out of her clothes. After he spreads her legs to lick her down, she gives him a little oral prep. Some sopping wet doggie-style follows, then mish. She takes his jizz in her mouth. Brad and his friend Ian head out to play some hoops, leaving Sydnee and her friend Asia to make out on the couch. Review brief: Description This is a lightweight Wicked Feature with condom use. General Impression The plot isn't particularly well-integrated with the sex, and seems to contradict it in one scene. The sex is good, but doesn't have a lot of chemistry. Sex April, Stormy, and Olivia Saint kick it off with a pussy-eating and dildo-wielding threesome. Just as we always expected, this is how college girls unwind during a big study session. Lite jazz plays as the girls show some genuine enthusiasm, and they get to mewing like a basketful of kittens. This scene was nicely done. The second scene, with Randy Spears and Aria, is the one that clashed with the plot. Randy confides in April that Aria has held out for their wedding night, and refers to himself as 'Dr. Blue-balls.' And as soon as they get into the honeymoon sweet, Aria is apologetic about making him wait all those years. She then demonstrates the oral skills of a very enthusiastic and practiced call girl, grinds him in a non-virginal way, and calls out, "Fuck that ass!" as he takes her anally.
